Your understanding of "destitute" suggests an enviable lifestyle. For most, being in need of food/rent money due to being out of work, would qualify as being destitute.

I suppose everything has a shelf life. I once witnessed a situation at the 21 Club that I have never seen in any other restaurant. Two men were seated at a table next to a woman sitting alone at a table next to them. After a time the two men and the woman began to have conversation. Presently, the men asked the woman if she would care to join them. The woman accepted their invitation, and from nowhere the maître d' appeared and advised them that their gathering was inappropriate and they would have to maintain their separate tables.

Since you have asked me: making offers that help them out financially is admirable, it is the nature of your reciprocal demands that renders your offers hypocritical. If your targets were/are destitute homosexuals, it would be less of an abomination, but not much.

I have made it to San Francisco a few times, but not recently. The times that I did visit I thoroughly enjoyed the Asian eye-candy and even got to sample.
