Posted in another thread, but I enjoyed it very much and watched the entire season 1 in 2 days. Teared up quite a few times. Was already a fan of George Sear who plays Benji. They all do a pretty good job with the acting. Felix is probably my favorite character and then Benji. Also enjoyed some recurring actors as well as cameos.
 
Take my recommendation, however, with the perspective of someone who enjoys High School Musical and Disney as well as much bolder stuff.
 
You also have to keep in mind that when they did the series, it was originally scheduled to be run on Disney+. Season 2 (being scripted but not yet picked up from what I have seen) should be bolder as they are going to go into it knowing it is for Hulu and not Disney.

I have quite enjoyed the new atmosphere of restaurants, particularly less crowded. I am willing to pay more for a less crowded experience. I believe restaurants in Massachusetts have been told to keep the music/radio down so patrons aren’t talking as much, so the quieter eating experience has also been nice. I’ve eaten out several times since we’ve been allowed to, in different establishments, and everyone, staff and patrons alike, seem to be taking the precautions seriously.

@KinkyNEguy thanks for your post. My guess is that Axiom has been posting about as long as I have. If he only gets riled once a year, that's 30 riles that you could quote. (Okay, might be 31 or 32 for me!) So I think @Axiom2001 has at least a decent track record. I don't remember him joining in when a pissing contest is going on, and I don't remember him seeking attention. The criticism above seems to me to be unwarranted. He was attacked beyond reason. For a medical doctor to "hope" that he posted under chemical substances, or otherwise he wondered how the guy can cope in society was way below the belt. And consider that Unicorn posts billions of pictures over at boytoy.com and Axiom has been one of his biggest fans. Unicorn's comment just didn't sit well with me, even though I have met him and personally like him.
None of this is to say that Axiom is perfect. Your contribution gave me more insight. But many of us don't like it when a thread is hijacked. Myself, I have learned to live with it.

I disagree. It's our business! The people ignoring the increasing peril of coronavirus are the ones more likely to get sick. They will burden the health system, taking money and resources from those who followed the rules.
An asshole at the grocery today wore his mask under his chin. He complained about being cold in the dairy department, so I told him that he would be warmer if he wore his mask. He didn't. Others who spoke to him got extended arguments. We are expected to treat him the same as others when he gets sick.

IMO, the paranoid camp includes those believing vaccines have microchips that will be switched on by 5G cellular technology to establish the Gates/Soros world domination, that the vaccine for COVID exists, that COVID was created as part of the world domination conspiracy, and that Gates is merely delaying the release of the vaccine to align with 5G.
 
I first heard this theory from a massage provider 4+ months ago, and more recently on an NPR report on conspiracy theories. I expect there are members of the Forum that believe some or all of that.
 
The data, the information, and the knowledge about COVID are not perfect. No arguments about that. We may not know the best ways to treat and to prevent. This is new territory. We are making it up as we go. My health care provider (Hoag) initially told me not to wear a mask. Now a mask is required before entering their facility. We can sit in the corner and pout about that. We can ignore government health warnings and just carry on with a "fuck it" attitude. Or we can try to follow steps to mitigate risk.

Percentage increases? Consumer Reports billed me $20. Then I got an email inviting me to pay that online. So I did. A few hours later I got a receipt for $26! That's an unexplained 30% increase...from Consumer Reports. Aren't they supposed to be the good guys.
And try calling them. The worst circus I have yet experienced. I never got a person.
Okay, I detoured on percentage increases. But now I am paranoid to subscribe to something!

I have been physically present in The Village but as a rule I don’t go indoors unless (most) occupants wear a mask as I do or I must buy essential goods. Very few are wearing masks in grocery stores in Montreal or indoors in The Village.
 
I have ascertained that the private dance areas in the clubs are operational, masks not mandatory, in keeping with guidelines that measures are but recommended. Only public transit is pushing masks as essential, but it is difficult to enforce. I don’t know details about the private dance choreography but I do not think it is substantially different from pre-pandemic. Staff, understandably, gravitate more to the ‘party line’ of public health when you inquire. Some dancers allude to no restrictions imposed.
 
Most people on the strip are sitting outdoors, but certainly less volume than previous summers, and indoor spaces are very anaemic. I think that Saloon and Club Le Date are recovering the best. Street performers are notably absent.

If one were to guess, filming in Santa Clarita was way cheaper. I could be wrong. But at least Samberg could drive back to his house in Beachwood Canyon each night vs. housing everyone in PS.

Yes, I remember! I have just finsihed reading Street music, which is the final volume in the Poke Rafferty series. Sad to say, but it's pretty dull as author Timothy Hallinan resolves issues that had been left open. If one is interested in the series, Street Music is definitely not the book to start with.

How would you get there? Taxis are more expensive. But, truthfully, the only Uber ride i have ever had was on the bed in that sauna....several times! I had his picture, but it wasn't very close up, so not worth saving. Just the memories.

Well, when I went to Lowe's to buy a microwave, they said they had one of the model I desired in stock. Then he refused to sell it to me, saving they had to keep one in inventory as a rule. Craziest damn thing.
 
I found just the dryer I wanted on Costco.com this morning, but when I went to buy it, they finally notify me that it is out of stock. Nothing about when they would have it. So take the listing down. It's $150 more elsewhere.

Last year the hubby and I shared an Uber driver in a Rio sauna. He was so much fun, and very hot too.

Hopefully if you buy from a higher end store you won't need the customer service.
