Six Months Later: I'd forgotten that I had read this novel and started up again. Some things seemed familiar, so I went to Amazon to see if had reviewed it. Nope. So I came here and saw this. Some novels are fun but forgettable.

As if I needed more sleep, NBC brought me the time-delayed live Macy's 97th Annual Christmas Parade. 97th? So that's why the anchors were so old. Even 77-year old Cher was given a star turn. It's all about advertising, whether it's the RAM trucks pulling the float or the brands the floats honor. The new Broadway show How To Dance in Ohio looks pretty dismal. The poor bands had to run to keep the show on time, and it's true, right before 3 hours it all wrapped up. I suggest younger anchors and less ads for the 100th celebration.
