Be friend with regular escorts/masseurs
Rudynate replied to CalebP89's topic in Questions About Hiring
I'm fond of nearly every man I've ever hired and I'm glad to see them. But for me, when they are out of sight, they are out of mind. I haven't asked any of them, but I imagine they like it that way too. -
Of course, if one is not going to be frustrated and depressed by physical aging, he may need to change the way he looks for sex- different venues, different type of partner. Sometimes, when I'm over in the Castro, I sometimes notice older men through the windows of bars, staring into space and trying to look nonchalant and I always think, "He must have something better to do."

Why does one need to "fade out?" I wouldn't equate acquiring an internal locus of control with fading out. Look at all those powerful, influential old guys in DC-Mueller, Dowd, Kelly, etc. You think they've come to terms with "fading out?" I doubt it.

Seems a touch spiteful.

I do think that a lot of young gay men are obsessively focused on their looks but as they age, they acquire some perspective and develop wider interests. That doesn't mean that they don't take good care of themselves, but looking good becomes one aspect of generally living a balanced life.

My Latest Physical Exam Perfect! Exception? Arthritis!
Rudynate replied to thickornotatall's topic in The Lounge
I enjoy visiting old cemeteries and reading the stones. I'm always struck by how many people in the 18th and 19th centuries lived into their 80s and 90s. My mother's family has a family plot in a tiny country cemetery in western New York. No Revolutionary war veterans, but quite a few from the war of 1812 and an astonishing number of them lived to a ripe, old age. -
My Latest Physical Exam Perfect! Exception? Arthritis!

Congratulations!! I'm 66 and the doc raves when I see him about my outstanding health. I went to the optometrist for an eye exam a couple weeks ago - same thing. I walk into the exam room , he looks at me up and down and compliments me on my outstanding physical condition. I have some semi-serious problems: I have a clotting disorder for which I take a blood thinner and I have heart disease for which I take a statin. My peskiest problem is allergies and asthma for which I take a variety of medications. The last several years, I have seriously gotten into bodybuilding and it seems that I am becoming healthier because of it. I have spinal disease from which I used to have a lot of pain. Since I've been lifting a lot, I don't have any pain. -
I had an experience recently with a very dominant escort- he really showed me who was boss. The experience wasn't choreographed. It was just what he does. Nontheless, I never perceived that I was powerless or that anything was happening that I hadn't signed on for.

But nothing happens without the sub's consent. In other words, the sub controls the scene- play acting.

It is well known that they have history with each other.

It's all play acting. Some are just better actors than others.

Very true. When our cleaning lady has been here, we walk in and the place looks like a suite in a luxury hotel. It's wonderful. But we manage to mess it up again by the time she comes again.

Advanced Planning Vs "Same Day" or "Now"
Rudynate replied to tenderloin's topic in Questions About Hiring
There are also some scorching hot providers who are only interested in"right now" bookings. My life is rather highly scheduled and I can't really imagine suddenly having an afternoon free to spend with somebody like that. -

Looking for Some Insight - Is This a Scam?
Rudynate replied to + quoththeraven's topic in The Lounge
I suspect it isn't a proper use of a client trust account. I haven't heard of attorneys being disciplined for falling ofr this particular scam, but I think they could be. These are attorneys they are contacting. The "trust account" is a client trust account. Most attorneys have them, I think. -

I always book in advance, usually at least a few days. -
A gentleman never uses dangling modifiers.

I love to have doors held open for me.

Looking for Some Insight - Is This a Scam?
Rudynate replied to + quoththeraven's topic in The Lounge
Someone contacts you for some bogus reason and asks you if you will park a sum of money in your trust account for them. In return, you get to retain a portion of the money. They send you a check and ask you to send a wire transfer somewhere for the amount minus your cut. The wire transfer gets processed faster than the paper check, so the attorney transfers the funds and finds out a couple days later that the check is no good. A few years ago, someone emailed me from China, wanting help with some IP transfers or something like that. After a couple emails, he asked me to accept a check for half a million dollars. Recognizing the scam, I said no, and told him not to bother me again. He sent the check anyway-half a million dollars written on an account for a car dealer ship in Ontario. I turned the check over to the fraud investigator for my bank and phoned the car dealership to let them know. Then I emailed the original sender to let him know what I had done and received a suitably venomous response. -
I remember my first time going to a nude beach-Paradise Beach on Mykonos- in the 70s. I just didn't see how I could possibly remove my clothes in front of all of those people. I walked to the extreme end of the beach and resolved to take off all of my clothes as fast as I could without thinking about it. That's exactly what I did and as soon as I got all of my clothes off, I wondered why I had made such a big deal out of going nude at a nude beach. I imagine going to nude yoga would be about the same
