I always text the provider when I’m on my way and get a response. But lately, when texting upon arrival in the hotel lobby, I get nothing right away. I wait ten minsince I usually book a 2 hour session,  so no answer in those ten minutes… I go back home! Usually ten minutes later, I get the “Sorry dude come back” text. If you cannot respect my time when I show up at the agreed upon appointment, then you don’t deserve my business.

I had one provider, whom I have communicated with in the past but our schedules never worked out, reach out to me saying he was in DC. I texted back saying I'm free and would like to finally book. I get nothing back after two texts, so to the discard pile he goes.
I do not mind when providers reach out saying they are in town asking to get together, but at least respond back if we say yes!

I saw him pre-Covid when was passing through DC. I think he had a different screen name then.

Well, he flaked on our appointment so he’s a never hire again!

With many escorts now preferring text message as their means of booking appointments, what gets your attention in the initial text from a client?
 
I have kept it simple with a “hello x. My name is Y, and I saw your ad for city Z. Are you free on Friday night?” Yet I rarely get responses back from escorts. Should I be more explicit in what I am looking for or keep it simple?

He did the same thing to me last night while he was traveling in DC. Good communications right up until the time of the appointment, and then crickets.
