Will have to keep an eye on this! The last place was on the other side of the interstate, so this may be a more receptive locale.

Isn't that the same location they tried to make work last year? Rumor back then was, the neighborhood groups fought the liquor license long and hard, and finally successfully.

The old car you always wish you hadn't sold, a great way to feel young again! For me it would be a 1969 Plymouth RoadRunner, in red with a four speed manual and black bench-seat interior. Traded it for a Ford pickup in 1983, had I stored it away would be worth six figures today. Or, a black 1979 Buick Skyhawk teardrop hatchback, Gawd I miss those cars!!

Name your top 3 male strip clubs in North America

Yup, been there each time I get to South Florida since they opened. It's tough tho, my boyfriend in Fort Lauderdale doesn't like me going to the clubs ( even tho we met while he was dancing at Boardwalk! ) We've agreed that one night only each visit is for barhopping, and the remainder of the visit is stripper-free. -
How seriously do you take 1-hour meetings?

In the end, my money is being spent for my pleasure- if the providers find that activity pleasing, more's the better, but for him, it's his job and he gets to decide how to handle his business, not my concern IMHO -

Aah, a heavy sigh each time I pull out of the parking lot of Target on Biscayne Blvd and pass the site of the old Richard's in Aventura- that was an ideal layout for a gay strip club - one way mirrors in the VIP rooms, genius -

1 a,b,and c- the Montreal triad of Stock, Campus, and Taboo (I'm a little trashy, so Taboo is always my first stop!) 2- Boxers n'Briefs in Centreville IL (St Louis 'burbs) a $10 Bud Light goes down a lot nicer with a naked boy butt on the bar in front of you 3- Stag and Silverado in Portland, OR - but I'm a little spoiled, both a twelve-minute drive from my front door -
On a rainy Thursday this spring, about 18-20 guys showed up at the 38th ST loft - a good time was had by all, as far as I could tell

You really need to experience Bear Party if you're in New York- a truly psyche-altering experience. Men of all shapes, sizes, races and ages, all naked with the same goals- I highly recommend! Sign up for email notices bearpartynyc.com/

Handicapped parking is reserved for only handicapped drivers, not for use by able-bodied persons. Accessible lodging and restroom stalls are provided for the use of handicapped patrons, but not restricted to them only. I have no qualms myself about using a handicapped stall in a busy restroom- and if a hotel assigns me to an accessible room, it's no issue to me.

Rank your favorite traits? What does a guy need to have?

I know I'm weird= - gotta be a ginger straight teeth killer smile beautiful eyebrows an ass to grab everything else is just icing on the " cake" -
Well worth an evening there if you're in the area. Enjoyed a couple of hot VIP room experiences my last visit. But, in my opinion, it;s too far from NYC for a day trip, ya kinda gotta be in Connecticut or western Mass. to make it work out. A couple of nice hotels within a few blocks if f you want to spend the night there in Springfield.

Gawd I can't stand Seattle traffic, just another reason to avoid the whole place.

The gal I'd been living with for the last six years died over the Thanksgiving holidays. Totally unprepared, no written instructions, no guidance of any sort- so frustrating! At least there were no money issues, she hadn't worked for a couple years, just started receiving Soc Sec in September. Still, with no relatives close by, it fell to me to go through her things, decide what to keep and what to toss. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, and Mum and I now have precise written details of finances, contacts (of course, not the hobby list ) and insurance plans- it's a difficult discussion, but necessary to have it.

Ya, but all the survivors are the pea-green base model with the brown vinyl interior- yuck! A girl in our high school had one without any back seat, just a parcel shelf there- a bench front seat only, could squeeze three in a pinch.

The "front service" is required to try upselling every customer- if she was secret-shopped before and failed to try the upsell, she would get at least a corrective discussion at end of the shift, or maybe a disciplinary write-up. A second failure to upsell caught by secret shopper or manager observation would likely be the end of employment, so don't blame the server for the policies of the establishment.

"Fox On The Run" - Sweet - Top Of The Pops - Dec. 23, 1975

Been going thru the stored stuff in my place, pulling out the things belonging to my deceased partner Therese for sending to the kids, and I came across our school yearbooks from 1977 to 1980- the pictures of me with the long hair like in that video will "unfortunately disappear", but I do wish I had most of that hair back today! -
Maybe the XFL will be worth watching after all......

A job trip to New York recently gave me a chance to check out some of NYC's entertainments. In the past, my schedule and the BuffDaddys events have not coordinated, but this trip I was able to get out to the "burbs on a Sunday night. Located in the World II private sex club, in an industrial area just north of the Southern State Parkway in Babylon, the club is Sunday nights- John, the proprietor, has other shows at various clubs in the city some weeknights. Because I was already out on the Island, it wasn't a long trip- about an hour or so from Manhattan by car, about the same by train. The VIP room at the club is quite upscale- nice carpeting, comfy couches, generally an improvement compared to most places. The night I attended, John had refreshments and snacks on hand, a nice touch. This night, there were six performers. a nice mix of big muscle guys, young thin dudes, black,Latino and white. Had a great time with several of the guys in the private rooms- $10 entry, $20 per song. The private rooms are fully enclosed, very nice. The main room is set up with a stage area and a video display. Each guy had a set of dances on the stage area, and due to the room size, you can't help but have a front row seat. I got the impression that there are different guys each weekend, depending on who makes the trip or who is available locally that night. I was not disappointed with the talent in house during my visit. Customers came and went while I was there- because I was already nearby, I stayed for most of the evening, while the other customers came and went. Talking with John, he gave the impression that the locals see this as their neighborhood stop-off spot, so the turnover wasn't unusual. All in all, it was a fun evening, and I did appreciate the earlier business hours (8PM to Midnight). If you have the opportunity, check out BuffDaddys, either here or at one of the Manhattan events. You won't be disappointed!

This week the relocation of Portland's 35-year-old Club Silverado is complete - the new location at 610 NW Couch Street (Pronounced "cooch" and don't snicker) had the opening this weekend. The front entrance is on the 6th AV side of the building, not the corner door. The main floor has a bar, restaurant kitchen, pool table and video poker room. No stripper stage on this floor, as the space has full windows onto the street. All the action is downstairs- one strip stage, three lap dance seats (curtains on sides, entrances open to the view of monitors and patrons- ugh!), bar and restrooms. Low ceilings in the basement mean limited pole work- but at least there is a pole now, instead of a lumber post. The new place- ten or twelve year old building- is smaller than the old two-club layout, and the stairs down to the basement might prove problematic, but at least they found a spot to carry on the business. We feared that the enlightened Oregon Liquor Control Commission would find a way to deny the new license, but enough hoops were jumped to get the job done. Seems live all the staff and dancers have survived the move, the weekend was definitely hopping. The new spot is on the west edge of the entertainment district, and is two blocks from Stag, the other gay strip club in town. Between these two is the old Embers Club, currently shut, but rumored to be under contract to a California group and expected to renovate into a gay disco. Also, CC Slaughters gay bar is three blocks east (Portland blocks are just 200 feet) so the beginnings of a new gay village are taking shape- ah, the memories of the old Vaseline Alley on SW Stark ST, now labelled Harvey Milk Way., where the gay clubs and bathhouses were clustered, before gentrification.
