  1. Amen to that! My brother in law would never go to the doctor or dentist until he was in pain. Most of his teeth were removed due to rot. Being in his late 60's, he made numerous trips to the bathroom every night. He finally went to the doctor went it became unbearable. After some testing, his PSA was high and they discovered bladder cancer. It was past point of treatment. Within six weeks he was dead. Maybe something could have been done if it was caught earlier. I have a 6 mo checkup with my PCP on Thursday. Blood test has been completed and the results are good except my PSA. It always runs high - 12 for this last check and it remains constant. However, I've had 2 biopsy's and 2 MRI's. All test show no cancer. So while my PSA is high getting routine blood work and DR visits helps me know I'm doing the right thing.
  2. I should have said My mom started USING Meals-on-Wheels. She did not start the business.
  3. My mom started Meals-on-Wheels about a month ago. It has both cold and hot meals. The menu doesn't vary much but it seems to meet the needs and it's not that expensive. It's worth trying since you can always cancel the service.
  4. With last colonoscopy I was sedated with Propofol. For me, it was much better than Versed The reason for the Propofol - I was told they could barely get me knocked out with the Versed with my prior colonoscopy. The Propofol was administered by an Anesthesiologist. The procedure was just finished and I fully woke up. With Versed you will be groggy for a while.
  5. Sorry to hear about your loss. Depending on where you live, you can be married and have children whether by surrogate or adoption. Give it time.
  6. I had PAE (Prostate Artery Embolization), it's performed by an Interventional Radiologist (IR). Urologists don't talk about this much since it takes money out of their pocket. Its a fairly easy outpatient procedure. Easy on the patient but you must find an IR that has performed this procedure many times and is proficient at it. PAE shrinks the prostate without the side effects that TURP, Green Light or other evasive procedures have. I did my homework and selected PAE. Read up on all procedures before making a decision. I can give more details on my PAE procedure if anyone wants it. The joys of growing old.
  7. I was on Alfuzosin (similar to FloMax) and did not have many of the side effects as FloMax. My problem didn't get much better on these medications. I then had Urolift and it was a temporary fix and didn't work well for me either. Another procedure is Rezum. I read horror stories regarding the pain during the procedure, so it was a pass for me. I had the PAE procedure in Nov 2020. It's performed by an Interventional Radiologist and I'm happy with the results. Do your homework on any medications or procedures
  8. Stay on hold - usually not long or I use their online system to report a problem. How long - It varies, 1 day to 4 days. Fix it first time - It depends, my washer pump was replaced the same day, my AC contactor the same day, the Microwave was a week since they needed to order the part. I do seem to be one of the lucky ones. Years ago they sent an incompetent Pool repair person, I complained and they sent another company

  10. I seem to be one of the fortunate ones with American Home Shield. I've used their service for many years on my house and a rental property. I, too, was concerned with their local trade providers with low Yelp ratings. However, they have serviced my pool, microwave, plumbing, washer, etc with virtually no issues. I hope the trend continues with me. I can also say, read the contract of what is covered as there is "fine print". The reps on the phone are spotty, you might get a good one but more times than not a rep that needs better training.
  11. Wait until you have a prostate biopsy to feel real pain. It is no walk in the park
  12. I've known Spencer for about 10 years, have been with him numerous time and plan to see him again. I, too, saw the comments about his preferences and the last time we met I asked him. He said, and I paraphrase. I have many (fill in the ethnicity) friends and we meet socially and have a good time. But as an escort I want to make the time memorable and if I'm not into a particular ethnicity, it won't be memorable. It's like a gay guy having sex with a female. Could he approach the situation another way? Are there better ways, maybe. Daddy's site, RM have many others to choose.
