The sense of entitlement from some people could make my head explode. A support peacock? On a plane? Really, gurl?

I often see panhandlers with dogs. About one year ago I started buying Petsmart gift cards and I give them out about once every two weeks. Where I usually see panhandlers there is a store about 3 blocks away. I love the reaction I get from the dogs owner and I feel really good afterwards. I buy them in larger dollar amounts in the winter in case the dogs owner wants to buy sweaters, coats or other items to keep their pet warm. Fortunately I've never see a dog with a panhandler that doesn't appear to be well cared for. I can imagine for these people how important their dog is; probably as important to them as mine is to me.

I feel a little bad I didn't think of this idea sooner.

If it happened, it was wrong. What's also not right is a 14 year old kid going to an adult party at night alone, assuming that's true.

There are statutes of limitations for good reasons, the erosion of those exposes anyone to any accusation, and when late makes it difficult to defend oneself. In America an accusation like this is almost a conviction. I think anyone who makes an accusation 32 years later or after the statutory period for a claim should be exposed to libel/slander damages. Think about how many times you were alone with someone in your home or office whether repair person/neighbor/fellow employee/customer/etc/etc and how they could, like this accuser, come out 30 plus years later to say you did something improper. How would you successfully defend yourself? It's not right.

And that's why you are loved! I always give money to musicians on the street and as far as others, it just depends on how I feel. On my previous trip to DC, a presumably homeless woman helped me to figure out the Metro card machine, then asked if I could spare a dollar, the smallest bill I had was a $20, so I gave it to her. I especially find that if I'm traveling and doing well financially, than I want to share that blessing with others.

Most of societies' "charity" money is shovelled over to bankers and hedge funders through tax breaks and loops holes, leaving the rest of us strapped. People on the street are a result of this and a blip on the financial radar

Financial reporter Ali Veshi is pretty clear: "This market started going up on March 9th, 2009. And if you have a ruler it is pretty much a straight line. There is nothing Donald Trump has done to cause the market to be where it is."

So, I say thank you Obama. And when that straight line up makes a U-turn, probably later this year, it will be entirely the fault of Trump, who is a terrible businessman.

I can imagine there are men for whom $400/hour, $2,500/session & $6,000/night refers to the money that spills out of their pockets. Likewise who don't have a problem paying those rates and accepting limits that come with them. I'm not in that category and don't feel bad that I'm not. Could be wrong but if I was ok paying $6,000 for an overnight I doubt I'd enjoy the ego of the guy who thinks he's such a joy to be with, limits and all for those rates. Hey, its America so whatever the capitalist wants to buy or sell to a willing seller and buyer. Liam has nice photos, hope his approach works out for him. I'm going to be in LA next week, Liam lost me at the comments Very Happy Customer made above.

The number of times I've been on flights when the overheads became full long before everyone had boarded the plane, boarding passengers became logjammed trying stow their carry-ons, and the flight attendants began the impromptu and inefficient process of gate-checking bags back from the aisle to the tarmac...

In addition to more aggressively screening for oversized bags gate agents need to do something like issue tags that say "overhead" and "under seat" as they check boarding passes. I get sick and tired of these business travelers who get on the plane and put both the rollaway and the backpack in the overhead. These are the same guys that start arguments when I try to play "baggage Tetris" to make room for more bags in an overhead bin. I still remember a flight out of Boston in the '90s when a flight attendant resolved an out of control carry-on situation by working her way through the bins and asking "whose is this?" for every bag. Any time she got the same passenger answering for two bags she'd pull out the smaller one, hand it to the passenger, and say "please stow this under the seat in front of you," and she'd move on to the next bin while ignoring further discussion. Most flight attendants just hide and avoid confrontation while hoping everything works out. They get involved when they have to; which is much too late.

Be careful with the Pope. I rented my beach condo to a rep from The Wholly Sea (like an AirBnB for beach properties) last December and they trashed the place. The guy said it was just going to be a man, woman and baby and maybe their donkey (which I nixed because of our no pet policy) with that 3 other guys might drop by.
13 guys showed up! Food everywhere, all the sinks, toilets and bathtubs were filled with wine, there were dead fish all over the pool deck and some kind of reddish stains by all the doors.
The only good part is that I had an old 36" flat screen TV that was dead that suddenly started working again.

I wouldn't rent my personal home to anyone, ok the Pope would be alright. Do most people who put their homes on Airbnb do it for money? And if someone needs Airbnb money isn't the writing on the wall its time for them to sell, get a better job or something?

I know tons of people are ok with properties being used by Airbnb customers. I'm glad my municipality only allows if for peoples primary homes and has to be for a month I believe. If I wanted to live next to a hotel I'd have bought a home where they are zoned. I'm lucky none of my neighbors are into Airbnb and the rental properties I have that are in HOAs prohibit anything less than 6 months.

I think six months in jail is insufficient. What he'll find very difficult is a lifetime as a registered sex offender and finding a good job with three felony convictions related to sexual assault. Or maybe his family is rich.
