The world has lost another great one. Amazing how many friends and family members (even the young ones) I've talked with in the past 48 hours has nothing but good things to say about Aretha and were playing her on their iphones and home sound systems. She truly had a voice that reinforced there is a God. Adding to the melancholic feelings, I watched some of the online videos scenes with President Obama and her. One showed him calling out "Hold on Queen" and rushing across a stage to position a foot stool properly for her. I miss having a President I can be proud of. He's not alone in shedding a tear or more when listening to her.

give me a break! the old pervert was wrong...for sure. but to be stabbed 16 times almost to death for rubbing the bucks leg and TRYING to grab his junk? and stating he would kidnap him/ OMFG! a huge strong young bull like this can flick his finger once and knock the old guzzard right down. stabbing him for rubbing his leg is like getting the death sentence for a speeding ticket!

* remember that however much I've saved in retirement money I need $1 million more than that. At least that's what I've heard from any financial adviser I've spoken with. And that $1 million more applies even if you have $10 million already
* remind myself that, assuming no catastrophic illness or freight trains hitting me, even men are living longer so savings have to last longer too
* read some article about how much we'll need for post retirement health care costs, even with Medicare
* read some article about the cost of home health care or a nursing home where you actually get care
 
Feelings of "I'm going to be ok money wise" quickly dissipate and I find myself adjusting the thermostat and reading with a flashlight.

this extra $5k...... you didnt set up overnights or weekends to make him EARN the money from you? at least that way you would have gotten something out of it. the problem isnt with the escort. you seem to be quite happy with his ability to perform in all ways for you. the problem is YOU. why ruin a good thing with the guy when you can just tighten up your own parameters and have a good time? Its human nature for someone that is perceived as a money bags to be asked by those the he or she provides to from time to time for money. hell women do it all the time with men and the men seem to glow that they are the "big daddy" and able to provide.
 
keep your situation fluid with him since it appears you have a great time with him. if you dont anymore...well then thats a different story. when he asks for extra money in the future, just let him know that you would like an overnight with him and he will have the money right there the next morning. he will get it in a mild way that your days of just being an ATM are over and guess what? if he is a decent person, he will respect you more as a person for it.
 
i have a phenom i see regularly. he has some extra bills coming up. i know he can really use extra money. so what did i do? just roll out a wad of dough? no. i offered to hire him more often. he readily agreed to the offer. he gets what i know he needs right now...the extra money and i get to have the enjoyment of having this stud around more often. a win/win in my books guys.

MOST of us have been there; It's usually more subtle at least in my case, but still SO transparant to experienced eyes lol.

I rarely have the heart to call them on it so I give ONCE. When the next "story" comes I just offer an "appointment" it that'll help.

The quality of providers has declined compared to 10 or 20 years ago. Lots of ugly beards and beer bellies. I’m far more fit than many of them. The ones that hit the gym are largely freakish looking because of steroids. And the number of fakes these days...too many to chronicle. Is this the Grindr effect?

Good observation. I don't know who told these guys their HOBO BEARDS make them look HOT. NO THEY DON'T. The beards makes them look like they just came straight from PANHANDLING down at the metro station to the appointment. GROSS!

You're going to meet in person someone you've never met before. Then you're going to be alone with them, and perhaps often vulnerable during the session. No sane person should do that after a text exchange remotely like the original poster shared. Heck, after reading this post, I'd never go near Ryan North. I've been fortunate to never have been in a violent encounter with anyone in my life. Even when I was robbed in my 20's it was over quickly and I wasn't injured.
