I don’t think he does deposits unless you are very far away from him. I host in midtown and he never asked for deposits. You’re probably outside Manhattan or something. Even in that case that you are far from him, he might just ask you to uber or Lyft him to you instead of a deposit.

That’s a great suggestion not just with this provider but with others. I do remember just chatting with him for 30 minutes. It’s rare to find someone who will do more than one round these days, especially if you’re meeting during the day.
