I completely see how someone could get into this cycle and it be a terrible long term behavior. You realized it. You moved on. That's fantastic. However, don't discount that there are millions of mentally healthy people out there who simply want something other than the missionary position. They function 'normally' otherwise, but in the bedroom are fucking freaks (and I say that with a lot of love and respect). Like I said before, we can't paint with too broad a brush. Everyone is different.

It was not right FOR YOU. It was based in abuse FOR YOU. That's certainly not the case for everyone. Don't paint with too-wide a brush. It never tends to end well.

Any of you find the real nude photos of Jesse Williams?

It's also all over the Twitter. Just search his name. A couple of fun videos. -
The cynic in me would say that the video was leaked purposefully

Skytrax has, more than once, has been accused of taking kickbacks for stars. For example, their routine suspiciously high ratings of short-haul LH is questionable considering the tight 3-across J class seating and the pedestrian catering. That said, I'd fly JAL over AA, anyday, anytime... And I'm a CK with AA. Japan tends to run their cabins a little warmer than US-based airlines, but their hard and soft product beat AA's international product with ease. Added, JAL's lounges are eons beyond an Admirals Club (or even Flagship). As @mike careysaid, it's all subjective in the end. As long as you're flying within OneWorld, you're still getting mileage and LPs. You might as well be as comfortable as possible on that long haul.

It was also on TDF and the seating was scattered through the back half of the floor. People who buy from scalpers without first exploring their options are fools.

You're pulling info from a ticket reseller. Those aren't face value. Ticketmaster/Telecharge are where you usually buy on Broadway. Second Stage is a smaller company, so they do things in-house. https://cart.2st.com/events

Only one TONY nom and it wasn't a lead. What's worse is that the producers/director are burying Jared Grimes's nomination from advertising to appease the leads. Not one mention of it on the website. It's a shame for a young performer who could use the chat.

Nextdoor - nextdoor.com ????
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to ArmyHands's topic in Questions About Hiring
Edit: Dozens of posts about a person of color walking down the street at 9:30 PM. When I would see Next Door posts in Dallas- especially Uptown and Highland Park- a lot of those 'suspicious person' posts always had that edge of race involved. The whole site bummed me out after awhile. I really don't want to dislike my neighbors. -
Nextdoor - nextdoor.com ????

NextDoor gives meaning and purpose to every single 'Karen' in the suburbs. -
In LA and West Hollywood, yeah, it's almost worn like a badge of pride. That's why I love Manhattan (and the East coast in general). New Yorkers play it cool, have access to great docs and if all goes right, they just look healthy/refreshed and age gracefully over a longer period of time.

You'd think based on how shitty the parks pay, there would be some decent looking talent working a nice side-hustle. But no... Orlando is a wasteland. In a variety of ways.

It's called dynamic pricing and it's been a part of commercial air travel for over a decade. If you have elite status, you get to pick seats gratis. It's not unbelievable. It's just business. They have shareholders. You snooze, you lose. That's why I don't usually book on discounters and stick to the airline websites, where I can put a fare on hold for up to 10 days while I think about it.
-
Sounds great... That is, until things go wrong, there's an aircraft swap, flight delay, cancelation, missing crew, etc and the airline tells you on your discounter fare to kick sand. Do your due diligence. Decipher the fare code. Know your rules of carriage.

Totally plausible. -
What is the quickest you have ever done it?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to + purplekow's topic in The Lounge
115 mph on the German autobahn in a Mercedes AMG GT-63 S. 120 mph on TX SH-130 in a BMW M5. While I like fast cars, I don't routinely do stupid things like the above speeds. -
I agree with others here who felt the mainstream review Streisand comparisons were unfair. I'd never expect Beanie to fill those shoes, but do take issue with there being a multitude of 'non-name' theatre people who could have easily knocked this one out of the park. It's clear they wanted celebrity on their side instead. The business of Broadway is that they have to sell seats to tourists. It is what it is. Criticism aside, I hope the show runs a long time. I never want to see anyone lose their job.

Saw this Friday. Beanie can't sing the songs. Ramin's talent is wasted. Lynch is funny, but in whole other show. Cheap set. Dull costumes. Circus-like tactics to get the audience excited. This Fanny wasn't so much Funny as Fatigued.

Just saw this on Saturday. Rockwell is a revelation. He understands the rhythms and cadence of Mamet. Watching him deliver this show was a brilliant lesson in paying attention to script punctuation and always being present. Criss had a throwaway role with a couple of nice punchlines. He tried to hard to sound 'dumb' Fishburne was out with COVID and his understudy, Ray Anthony Thomas, with less than a week of rehearsal and never having gone on, was right up there with Rockwell. They went toe-to-toe and it was great. Circle-in-the-Square has always been the most intimate house on Broadway and the set will either fascinate you or cause you to feel even more cramped in the space.

Fuck, it's gonna be a long three hours when I see this next week.
