  1. I'm not so sure... I believe they're both incredibly talented in different ways. May we kindly agree to disagree?
  2. Uh huh. The bullshit is getting thick enough in here to need a wheelbarrow.
  3. And for those non-traditionalists here...
  4. Minnelli is her own performer, equally as talented... an EGOT. Not many can call themselves that. Zellweger is a fine actress, but her voice was sweetened a lot in Chicago. CZJ stole that film and deservedly so. She was the only true hoofer there. We care because it's the recreation of someone's life that we enjoyed/admired/etc.
  5. I'm still worried that she's doing her own singing. Perhaps they'll just sweeten her up with Garland's real vocals as a lead.
  6. This is a fan made trailer with no real footage.
  7. I'm looking very much forward to seeing it next week. And then again in early May
  8. Additional realistic perspective: Crime rates are higher in many major US cities than throughout Mexico. That's not to say you shouldn't exercise caution when needed, but certainly don't live in manufactured fear. However, for some people, staying at home in their rocking chair is truly the best bet.
  9. A great article on influences within the show... https://www.bustle.com/p/who-is-midge-maisel-based-on-amazons-marvelous-mrs-maisel-draws-inspiration-from-comedy-elite-6859858
  10. An Amazon-produced series that's well-written and perfectly cast. I confused it with a costume dramedy for the first fifteen minutes, but then wow. Big changes without ever becoming a parody of itself. Highly recommended. https://twitter.com/MaiselTV?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author Edit: Thanks EBG!
  11. Spa Castle rocks
  12. Mexico is taking it in the chops right now. The US media seems to be doing day-to-day reports on the cartel. I just got back from San Miguel De Allende and was in Playa Del Carmen last month: I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. Don't let these things dissuade you from visiting places you've never been. Mexico is a stunningly beautiful country.
  13. A interesting little article about keeping people from going batshit insane while doing long-hauls: https://www.wsj.com/articles/airlines-conquer-challenges-of-long-haul-flights-now-can-passengers-1521889200
  14. You can always book the room for the night before to ensure it's ready when you arrive.
  15. EXACTLY. A fraud trainer is quickly found out. From the first workout, it's not tough to tell if they have a clue as to how to work you out based on your existing fitness level. More than that, it's also not tough to tell if they're using steroids to achieve the body they've got. I don't play well with trainers who juice their way to 'health'
  16. You think that was a shit bomb? Clearly, you haven't been here too long. I made an observational comment. It wasn't meant to be hurtful.
  17. Have YOU ever tried texting on a rotary phone? It's a real bitch.
  18. Can't we all just keep this simple and hate each other equally? said with tongue firmly-planted-in-ass
  19. No guts, no glory
  20. My advice... Don't choose your trainer based on how he looks. Many, many of these guys use insane/dangerous shortcuts to get the IG bodies they have. What you really want is a healthy, functional, flexible body that will age well over time. Talk with your potential trainer and if he's not concerned with your goals, he's not the guy you want with you in the gym.
  21. Chicken Little... The sky has not yet fallen
  22. I used to do IAH-HKG almost every month for about a year. That was 17-17.5 hrs in flight, depending on weather and tarmac traffic. Long haul for sure. It took some getting used to. Out of DFW, I've done the DBX nonstop a few times on Emirates. That's only about 14.5-15 hrs. Emirates makes it feel a lot quicker with their awesome seats and service. I'm still a little bummed they downgraded it from an A380 to a 777. The DFW-SYD on Qantas was (or still might be, not sure) the longest flight in the world. It's also now the only A380 flight going out of DFW on a regular basis.
  23. Great cast and a fascinating family. Hope they have the script to make this one a winner.
  24. As an escort who does almost exclusively multi-day gigs, alone time will come naturally and it's not really something you have to plan out. Guys need to hit the gym, check email, make calls, go for a run, etc. If you have a decent rapport with your guy, it's usually just a simple 'Hey, I'll be back in just a bit.'
