  1. Can you do a quad?
  2. Sure, it's okay to ask. Better question: Do you believe everything people tell you? I know plenty of people who say they're on PrEP, but they're not. I know people who say they're HIV- and don't say anything to their sex partners about actually being HIV+ People are people: Imperfect. Protect yourself the best you can.
  3. Drag queen lexicon making it's way into mainstream society depresses me
  4. I hope it was the Miss Cleo room
  5. If you keep in mind that Vegas is no longer a deal, you'll be fine. One way or another, they'll get you to part with your money.
  6. Look into Earls Court area. Some great small hotels, most including breakfast. Almost all are near the EC Tube. Download the OpenTable app. It's become popular with the Brits. Tons of options.
  7. It's not us you should be discussing this with. It's him. Have an open discussion as to it happening and that you don't think you should pay a full rate. Bringing it up here, as it's been brought up dozens of times before, will only garner a ton of random opinions and no real consensus.
  8. All that glitters is not gold is often times salient advice
  9. Times change. We move forward.
  10. Yes. With clients. Personally, no. I don't like how most of them are designed or decorated.
  11. I was obsessed with most of the Von Erich family of wrestlers. Kerry was by far one of the most beautiful guys in the business.
  12. Agreed. The same goes for what they did to The Savoy... All that money and it still looks so dumpy.
  13. Various Aman properties. Any Rosewood property. Mandarin Oriental flagship in Hong Kong. St Regis Maldives at Vommuli. The Carlyle, NYC. Copacabana Palace, Rio Raffles, Singapore and Dubai. A ton more, but these are definitely my favorites of the bunch.
  14. You do realize that McGrath had nearly no rehearsal time and is in the middle of doing two shows simultaneously. He called for two lines. That's not too shabby.
  15. Driver Dorothy Bruns recently entered a plea of not guilty I hope they put that bitch away for a long, long time.
  16. Welcome to the new normal of theatre going: Where a B-list TV actor is box office gold and an audience can't wait to draw attention... To themselves. It's also why I pick what I see more carefully these days. Three Tall Women isn't going to attract that crowd. Neither does My Fair Lady.
  17. Exactly. And it's why I'm totally uninterested in ever seeing him onstage again. He's one-note. His understudy, Matt McGrath, is a superior actor. I'd have loved to see him go on for Parsons during the absence.
  18. Ideas for ADD can include a healthy Adderall script
  19. Would he do better if he were wearing a pair of Isotoner slippers? (bonus points for those who know what I'm referring to)
  20. Saw it again this past weekend. I stand a changed mind on Ambrose. She's an entirely different Eliza now. From previews to the frozen show, she's giving a much more spitfire performance. Her voice is now confident. Her comedy is landing. Her dramatic stuff was always strong and considering that My Fair Lady is really more of a play with music, the two leads really tear into the script beautifully. Best of all, the audience was dead silent when they needed to be
  21. Eder's current run at 54 Below has been well-reviewed. I saw her new show last Friday night. She did a fair amount of material from the new album, as well as the tried-and-true stuff she's known for. After a long while of being mainly a big stage, symphony performer, Eder is becoming very comfortable in a small room. It's interesting to see. http://theaterpizzazz.com/linda-eder-celebrates-broadway-and-song/
  22. Patti performed for the last six months of her last run with a bad hip. She made it look effortless. After the run was over, she immediately went for a replacement so that she could be ready for her Company run on the West End. That's a true show-person.
  23. IH remains the largest gay B&B in KW and one of the few left on the island that hasn't gone straight/mixed. It's not as nice or well-designed as Alexander's, but it's got a larger crowd and is a lot more of a party scene. They did a soft refurb on it about six months ago.
  24. As an aside to this convo, weightlifting doesn't mean automatically dealing with hemorrhoids. Knowing how much to squat and the wide variety of exercises that can build your legs will help someone ever avoid this painful issue. Lifting heavy as you get older is an unwise move. Flexibility is your friend
  25. Long term doesn't always mean sugar daddy. 90% of the people I spend time with are what I would consider 'long term.' I've been seeing them for 10+ years.
