  1. I really disliked his OK, but I'll still see his MHF. Art should make you feel something: Whether you like it or not.
  2. Yeah, but at least the folks in Detroit have a soul. Miami is pretty, but empty.
  3. This is a lovely Christmas thread. How about a conversation into why a lot of them died... And how that industry continues to ignore it.
  4. Le Labo, you have good taste. I have a houseful of their candles.
  5. Inflation is a fact of life. You can agree or disagree to it, but the cost of living rarely goes down.
  6. A slight breeze does it too, but for the sake of ease, let's say sure
  7. Tons of threads on PV already here. Use the search function for a ton of info.
  8. The South Beach hotel scene is insanely overpriced and nearly all of them need a good cleaning/renovation/rehab. I'm always marvel at how disappointing Miami's 'top tier' properties are with ridiculously low levels of service. Look at Downtown, Miami Beach (much cheaper) and Brickell (super new oceanfront condos, great prices). If you must be in South Beach, look at Airbnb or HomeAway. Much better options, more space and a wider price point.
  9. With a DIET Dr Pepper, please. I'm told the diet drink cancels everything else out.
  10. You using the word burgeoning makes me hard
  11. I was going to write in all caps, but then realized you're completely right.
  12. Thanks for the compliment and always happy to help CDMX is a perfect mix of a European feel, perfect weather year-around and generations of well-kept Mexican tradition. It's tough to fully describe, but the other closest city I might compare it to would be Montreal (in the spring/summer). Safe travels.
  13. Shit, you're right... And now I feel like an asshole for not immediately also thinking about @Kevin Slater.
  14. I haven't heard from him in a little while, but @Rick Munroe is smart, sexy and very, very funny.
  15. ... And that, fine sir, is part of the secret to the sauce
  16. The title of this thread should really be changed to Have you ever told a client you loved him and meant it That's the crux of this conversation.
  17. I've submitted my blog to the FDA as a natural alternative to Viagra.
  18. If that were the case, I'd have folded a long time ago.

  20. I only fuck for Whataburger gift cards
  21. I love you Kevin Slater. I need you, me and Rick Munroe to have dinner someday.
  22. UPDATE With the spirit of Christmas deep inside of me, I promise not to spill even one Jimmy Stewart sex story. 15MM
  23. Some info from a recent PV visit... http://15minutesmore.com/blog/2019/04
  24. I'm not sure, but it seems risky. It might put a business in legal jeopardy in the event there was an emergency.
  25. For what it's worth, this will be my 10th Carnaval this year in Rio. Been booked for the final week of parades and might stay for Champions. Not sure, but have never seen it before and thought it might be fun. Safe is relative. I'm a 6'3" muscular blond who stands out in Rio like a sore thumb, but I've never felt out of place or unsafe. I just use my head, keep my eyes open and don't go out of my way to act or look like a wealthy American. When you move with purpose through a city, it makes other people think you know what you're doing. That goes a long way in remaining safe. I've done fun hotels like Fasano and Copacabana Palace, but have had equally as great experiences with Airbnb, mainly going with units on Ipanema. You can always find hotel deals if you're willing to trek out to Barra. Some new hotels out there, American brands, but it's just removed enough from the action to feel a little slow. Uber rides where you want to be wouldn't be expensive, but traffic would be a nightmare. Parade tickets: I've used Bookers International many, many times and they've always come through. They can also arrange to pick you up from your hotel and take you back when you're done. It's super organized and very easy to deal with. For your first parade, I'd recommend getting as close as possible to really see the detail and get swept up in the energy. A front box or covered box seat. Also, stay awake until the end to see Beija Flor... Year after year, they put on an INCREDIBLE show. Make sure to spend time actually seeing Rio. It's a beautiful city in a wonderful country. Yeah, have some fun in the saunas, but don't just spend all of your time in a towel in some smoky, dark basement. Enjoy!
