What Books Do You Read Repeatedly?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to + BenjaminNicholas's topic in Literature
I'll add to that the complete works of Marcel Proust. If you can get through that, you can get through most anything. -
ATLANTA'S NOTORIOUS "UNDERWEAR MODEL"
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to robberbaron4u's topic in The Deli
I love the breathless, 1940s newsreel quality to these posts -
I watched this a couple of days ago on a long flight to Maui. It was interesting and entertaining. https://www.hbo.com/the-lady-and-the-dale

What Books Do You Read Repeatedly?

Ah, the Kilimanjaro of reads. I've gotten through it once and agree that a second reading is in order (at some point). -
What Books Do You Read Repeatedly?

It was a question that clearly has an audience by the number of replies. Also noted, you repeatedly keep coming back to this thread to respond -
The real goal here is to have a suitable rate to satisfy not ever needing a tip.

I've found that walking in wearing something skimpy, like a sensible gold thong, helps speed up the process.

Will you pay a deposit to a stranger?

Or, you live near an authority, you can usually make an appointment for same-day(ish) renewals. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/get-fast/passport-agencies.html Or, if you're willing to pay, you can hire a third-party expeditor to do it for you and Fedex it overnight.

Somehow, that distinction doesn't make me feel any better about this situation.

So, he's either out of prison already on child porn charges or this is a fake.

I was in Tampa and St Pete/Clearwater last week. It was... Okay. If you want to actually get away from throngs of people, you need to go south to Bradenton and Anna Maria Island. THOSE are beautiful beach spots. However, I can report that the new JW Marriott in Tampa is actually pretty damned nice. They run a tight ship there too.

I've been to CDMX nearly a dozen times over the last 6 months. It's become my easy go-to getaway. I stay in Polanco mostly. Tons of beautiful airbnbs, as well as solid hotel choices. Locals call it the 'Beverly Hills of Mexico City.' It's walkable, very green and very safe. Love walking Centro, as the design, flow and architecture of the city really pops. Reforma has good walking and some nice hotels. While older, the Four Seasons is a beautifully polished gem. Best bar in the city (Fifty Mils). The new Sofitel is likely the nicest 'new' luxe hotel in the city (opened late 2019). I stayed there when the city was on full lockdown. They have a great indoor pool and a killer staff. You'll quickly realize that one trip isn't enough. And, if you haven't been told already, eat on the street. And then head to El Morro for the best churros in town (ask for a side of cajeta)

You're really not getting this, are you? How do they fake the digital databases that are kept in 46 states with batch numbers and names? They take the info and cross-reference it. If they can't match it, they don't give you a vax passport. So, yes, these digital vax passports are very difficult to falsify.

If math were this interesting in high school, I'd have been a much better student.

3 days is easy and AJ is a pro. It'll fly by. That's why you hire well-reviewed guys who handle extended dates with ease. If you have concerns about filling time, just talk to him when you're together. Make plans. It's not rocket science.

Cher on Tik Tok? When Should Divas Retire?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to lonely_john's topic in The Lounge
It's odd that I give Cher more wiggle room to be Cher, but the moment I see Madonna trying to be relevant, I cringe. Perhaps it's that with Madonna, it's a rather joyless thing to watch. She tries so hard and it shows. It's uncomfortable now. Cher just is Cher. She's conquered acting and music. She's unfailingly herself at all times. She hasn't really needed to switch characters. I admire that. On the same level, it's also why I like Kylie Minogue: She's positive, she's supportive, she makes catchy music and like Cher, she doesn't take herself seriously. -

And therein lies why... His spending habits are legendary -
But what can't be easily faked are vax passports that are directly downloaded into a digital wallet. Companies like GoGetVax are taking the lot numbers, date vaxxed and checking them against databases to verify. CLEAR is also doing their own version of this as well. Ultimately, if you're going to be hiring escorts, you should at the least, yourself, be vaccinated. As others have said here, there are a lot of guys that deceptively say they're 'this' or 'that' and they're definitely not.

Rob Zombie Directing New "Munsters" Movie
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to BuffaloKyle's topic in Movies
He's going to cast his horrible actress wife as Lily.... Dear God, No. Zombie's record of good films is indeed spotty at best. He casts in the extreme and it doesn't always serve his projects well. I hope for the best. -
