Sorry to nitpick here, but CLEAR has nothing to do with Mobile Passport or GE. It works in conjunction with PreCheck, getting you through initial TSA lines faster and in a more efficient manner. As to GE, the advantage it has over Mobile Passport is that you're already fully vetted. You've had the background check and interview. You ALWAYS sail through (unless it's something flagrant). I've seen tons of people still get secondaries on Mobile Passport.

It's an all or nothing situation. You can easily travel to several great spots (Dominican, Mexico, Canada), but there's always going to be a little inherent risk involved. At the moment, if you want to minimize risk, but get away, I'd suggest Cabo or Cancun. You can hole up in a resort, they'll do your return testing there for you and you can mask up to your comfort level. I'd steer clear of Key West. It's a mess right now, prices are ridiculous and there's a huge contingent of 'freedom fighters' visiting the island who couldn't care less about anything but going to Sloppy Joes and being drunk by 9am.
