Apropos Of Nothing, Woody Allen. Very, very well-written so far. An engaging book.

I tried with one episode and it was just unbearable. It wasn't smart. Wasn't sharp or funny. Felt long, plodding and with no end point. Perhaps it gets better a few episodes in. Based on the reviews, I don't think I'll give it a shot.

Yes, 2-1-1 is definitely an option, but it also requires some forethought and hindsight. One pill a day might not be cheaper, but it's easier to remember. DoxyPEP still needs further randomized controlled trials. It works for chlamydia and syphilis, but is imperceptibly useful with Gonorrhea (as that STD has continued to mutate and is resistant to an older tetracyclines like Doxy). The other issue is long term use and antimicrobial resistance. That's especially dangerous with something like staph. On a more minor scale, there's also the side-effects of Doxy when used long term. UV sensitivity, skin problems, stomach issues.

I mean, would it be possible that a script like PrEP would show up on routine blood work as a maintenance drug. It's likely, but since I only play a doctor on television, I'm unsure.

This was bound to happen. Tourists were acting like COVID was over when they went down there. No masks, no precautions, packed dancefloors.
-
Did they do blood work as part of the physical? If so, of course they know.

This is where television and screenwriting is changing. A new generation of viewers doesn't care if their leads are classically likable or the 'Sam and Diane' of a show. They want razor sharp and, in this case, authentic. I do see where you're coming from, which for me makes shows like Ted Lasso all that more enjoyable in adding to the mix.

Great show. Great writing. Great performances. Good to see it coming back in Oct. I'll be mostly through the new season of The Morning Show at that point and will need a replacement.

The whole thing went way over your head, didn't it?

I believe it was super paradise that I experienced my first mid-day beach drag show. That was a trip. Mykonos is a magical place.

COVID Restrictions - Palm Springs?

Basically, show up with your vax card or a picture of it. Pretty straight forward. -
I finished the whole thing today and while ultimately melancholy, it had a definite voice. A lot of it felt like it pushed into satire, but it would then pull back quickly into reality. I hope S2 of this show can find a stronger, more definitive voice.

Exactly. Dillon was ancillary. He was not all that important. Belinda was a comment on society. She was meat & potatoes. Her story was important and timely. Gay men can get far too wrapped up in eye candy and not in solid characters and great writing.

Aramis and Grey Flannel remind me of men in my family. They're comforting scents, even though I don't wear them myself. I have a ton of cologne, but rarely wear it (as I have multiple scent-sensitive clients). At this point, it's a collection that I stare at, arrange and dust occasionally.

Correcto. It's called Four Seasons Resort at Wailea.

I object. Permission to treat the witness as hostile. -
It's nice to see that Sturgis doesn't have the copyright on superspreader events
