Black Bag was Good, not Great. I Fucking Hated MIckey 17
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to Rod Hagen's topic in Movies
I mean, you can dislike something, but tell us why you 'hated' it. -
I'd say don't ever start. Marvel films always hit me the same way: Lowest common denominator plots and wooden acting. Michael Bay craptactulars paved the way for Marvel.

Do bottoms enjoy tops who can keep going for hours?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to Constantine's topic in The Lounge
Fucking can get boring/monotonous after a certain amount of time. If the top looks the role, is appropriately verbal and moves like a sexual metronome, the bottom is going to want him to cum PDQ. I don't get the guys who want to fuck for hours and hours. That's either some unreal Penthouse Forum shit or a sign of dudes who party. Reality: I'm more impressed by guys who can shoot multiple loads versus take an hour (or more) to get one single load out. -
How can you afford to hire service providers consistently?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to + Gar1eth's topic in The Lounge
Never forget that hiring someone to spend time with is a financial privilege. Like luxury goods, you have to have the means to partake... Or go into debt trying to look the part, I suppose. If you live somewhere that the cost of living is higher, a higher rate is just part of doing business. If you're lucky enough to lock in a lower rate with a longtime escort, count your blessings. -

I feel like there's no real competition here. It's Kylie Minogue. She's an icon. I'm seeing both of her MSG shows, but also catching her on a couple of other stops too. -
Backhanded compliments are the cornerstone of this board. It also doesn't help that his 'review' reads like it was written by an over-caffeinated 14yo.

Cheapest countries to hire?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to DC Guy 92's topic in Questions About Hiring
I don't disagree. But as with living in reality, the difference between written, enforceable law and what one sees as a victimless crime are usually two different things. CBP doesn't see shades of gray. You're either breaking the law or you're not. I would suggest travelers always knowing their rights, both in their own country and when visiting others, and keeping as low a profile as possible. Don't give them any trail to easily follow. -
Whenever I get DMs from total strangers offering me 'advice,' they usually end up going into spam, never to be heard from again. It's an odd thing for people you will never meet to think they're entitled to tell you how you should look/act/etc.

Bite your goddamned tongue. I once spent an extended weekend in Branson years ago and still haven't recovered fully from it. Do you realize how difficult it is to seem impressed by the 'bathrooms of the Shoji Tabuchi theater?' And then there was me seriously wondering if Andy Williams would die before getting to Moon River. Branson is Vegas if you subtract the sex, the gambling, the intricate shows, the binging and the blow. Just add water. Holy water. Lots of it.

How to deal with physical discomfort after hookups

That said, I'm not so sure what HR is going to think of my interview process. -

You need to switch jobs. I've got a few positions you can fill. -
High prices for A-list performers are nothing new. It's the norm, especially when you consider what they're being paid weekly. The business of theater is one of very slim margins. I can't blame them for charging what the market will bear. TDF and TKTS are alternatives to higher prices. And then, as mentioned here already, you have off-broadway, off off-broadway and fringe. The bigger issue I have with midtown shows is the state of the audience. They're a fucking nightmare. Tiresome, egocentric, stupid, drunk and loud.

True, but it can run out of ideas. Paging Ryan Murphy. The difficult thing about writing is that block is real. There's also the constant fear of having one seismic success and never being able to reach that apex again. This was the case for a guy like Truman Capote. White hit big and hit fast. I'm sure he felt the pressure to churn it out. Perhaps he's not the kind of creative who can do that and needs more time in-between projects.

Even if it was an STD, something like azithromycin would take care of it. Five pills, five days. Blasts almost anything out. -
Rockwell could make reading a phonebook sound interesting. He's just gifted. It sure as hell wasn't White's writing. That's just become a banal, repetitive circle-jerk this season. It's kinda sad that it only took 3 seasons for him to lose the brass ring.

The Ups and Downs of Airlines and Air Travel
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to mike carey's topic in The Travel Desk
WN had no choice but to make changes that would bring in more money. Their stock and reserves were taking a massive haircut, but the sitting board kept sitting on their hands. Change hurts, but it very well may be the thing that keeps WN in the air. We shall see. -

Length of trip. Frequency of certain entry points. History of travel (which is easily seen). A CBP officer has every legal right to follow a hunch, take your phone and laptop and search them. The good ol' border search exception to the fourth amendment. What this means is that if someone is going to do these sorts of things frequently, they need to make smart decision in how they do it. -
Yes, exfoliation is needed, but the right balm is too. There's only one lip balm on the market that uses cortisone. And it works very, very well. https://drdanslipbalm.com/cortibalm/

Equinox isn't as frisky as it used to be, especially since more 'gay' gyms have opened. They also realize the reputation they were getting and started revoking memberships when people got caught.

You go to the gym and work what are clearly weak muscle groups. An ounce of prevention -
I've got to assume Apple was willing to pay Sudekis fuck you money to keep this going. Now, whether it SHOULD keep going or not is the question that probably won't be asked. The show was lightning in a bottle. You can't easily keep it going long term. Not with today's audiences. I'd have liked to see Hannah Waddingham get her own spinoff instead.

It sounds like fun, until you realize how tough it is to hide in plain sight with a 6'4" 220 ginger.

What's your favourite hotel to stay at when on vacation?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to Constantine's topic in The Lounge
Scarfes is one of my favorite bars in the world. I'm always shocked at the bill at the end of the night, but somehow it's always worth it. I didn't do the suspension bridge, but hiked all around it over the visits. I always end up taking one of their house BMWs and have them arrange a boat day on Lake Powell. I'm also a big fan of going into Page and drinking lunch at El Tapatio.
