  1. If you're going to ban him and not allow him to respond to those here, at least also lock this thread. Try to appear to have some semblance of fairness.
  2. This is a fallacy. Please don't believe that for a second. It's why YOU need to take care of your health and protect YOURSELF accordingly.
  3. The issue here is really one that has been problematic in the business for a long, long time. In an unregulated industry, escorts basically have to police themselves to be- and remain- reliable professionals. It's not that an escort cancels, but how he cancels and, more importantly, how he keeps his client happy after that fact. Many guys in this business don't understand how to schmooze when things go a little South. Being a good fuck or having a superb body is one thing. Being a great communicator with a natural ease is the true talent.
  4. You don't understand? Sure... If you say so. You didn't edit for form, cadence or awful spelling. You edited the headline (and more) to remove your original take on playing a race card. Own it. It's clear what you did. I just find it fascinating when people get a little blowback and then do an about-face.
  5. That sounds like fun. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. The only gay cruise I've enjoyed was through RSVP on an Azamara ship in Asia. The clientele was much more relaxed, wider age range, intelligent and a lot of fun to be around. I imagine that was due to the higher cost of the cruise combined with the costs/time to get to Shanghai.
  6. I think you have misunderstood. I was responding to the asshole who somehow thought an escort couldn't create a full career from just escorting. My reply was to infer otherwise. I wasn't making any comment on your situation.
  7. Not professions, eh? Yeah... Tell that to my investment portfolio. Don't be a dick.
  8. The side effect risks outweigh the benefits. It's not something to casually mess with, especially if you're on SSRIs.
  9. I feel a Mary Martin or Merman story coming on.
  10. No, you're not being unreasonable. He makes his own schedule. He knows the risks he's taking when it comes to the very real possibility of flight delays. What he should have done is suck it up and gone through with your engagement. We all do it when we have to. Sure, there are times when a previous delay makes it impossible to get to your next client, but this was a case where he chose to cancel on you. What's worse is that he didn't do it in a business-savvy way to keep you less disappointed. Like you said, flowers, a heartfelt phone call, a bottle of wine delivered from room service, etc. There are a million little things you can do that would soften the sharp edges. What should you do now? That depends on how forgiving you are and how much you enjoy his company.
  11. Cunard no longer offer their ships to RSVP/Atlantis for buyout. The same goes for the Azamara ships. It was a one-and-done. RSVP and Atlantis tend to book large ships with a lot of room and a lot of things to do, as well as public spaces that work for their nightly dance parties. They don't normally cater to the small ship, luxury crowd.
  12. Question: Why did you edit yourself? You clearly had an angle to the post and when faced with replies, you changed it. By proxy, it makes a lot of the replies now look odd.
  13. This is a typical barber shop. The vibe is evident from the pictures. It looks small based on Google's user images. First post about a random barbershop in Brooklyn with a link. Interesting.
  14. The first rule of social media is to never argue with people in hopes of changing minds or 'to win.' Just walk away. Disengage. Block. Never look back.
  15. Like any free-market enterprise... Because they can.
  16. It takes some people a good long while to learn what money can and can't buy.
  17. Hell, I hope her accent gets legs. Because as of now, it's just a mess of gangly arms, flailing wildly.
  18. To me, it says a lot about an escort who doesn't know his rates right off the bat. They ask, you answer. It should be a black & white discussion. If you have to play games or jump through hoops to get a number, that's a red flag.
  19. PV is really fucking gay. It's so gay, it's Marvyn Gaye. But seriously, other than CDMX, PV is likely the most outwardly gay and gay-supportive city in all of Mexico.
  20. Escort blacklists only work well when they're controlled, kept quiet and by invite-only. This very board had a hidden 'escort only' section (by invite only) in the Hooboy days. Spaces like these aren't meant for client access. Some things in this business aren't for the customers... They're for the protection of the talent. Both female and male escorts have their own systems. Some of them look a lot like this board, tbh.
  21. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Escorts have faced salacious, speculative headlines here for decades, whether true or untrue. I have zero clue as to the validity of this post, but I'd suggest that the actual escort(s) who have been victims of this abuse take appropriate measures. This board is not the place for the telephone game of such serious nature.
  22. < - - - - Very, very off-topic. But I felt like a punchline was needed And now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
  23. Yes, but the truly smart ones are those who PROTECT THEMSELVES FIRST. Going to fuck without a condom? Get on PrEP first. Going to fuck a lot, with a wide variety of people, without a condom? Get on Doxy PrEP. The marvels of modern medical science are giving people a way to fuck safely: Use whatever safety device you'd like, but for fuck's sake, don't rely on the word of a perfect stranger while doing zero to keep yourself healthy. If you can't do that, you shouldn't be having sex in the first place.
