  1. A friend was just starting to dabble in woodworking and was confounded by the fact that 2X4's are not, in fact, 2" by 4".
  2. A blast from the past - Thomas Lloyd. I remember chatting with him online back in the early 2000's, I think he'd retired from porn by that time. Seemed like an intelligent, funny guy.
  3. Sometimes it's a shared look, a feeling that "I've got the same secret that you do". I wonder if gaydar will peter out as being gay becomes less and less a thing to hide. When I first came out, I visited Minneapolis and wondered if my gaydar was defective, it seemed like SO many guys were setting it off. Turned out I was staying in the gayborhood.
  4. To this question, it varies. I make a point of making clear how long I'm planning on. After that I usually depend on the escort to manage most of the time, but I do keep an eye on the time myself & mention if we're going wildly over; some guys WILL charge but it's rarely happened to me. I've had some guys point out to me that we're getting close to the end. I've rarely been shorted time (once by a guy who seemed determined to finish me off in about 20 minutes).
  5. Agreed. My second or third procedure, it was like waking up from the best sleep I'd had in years.
  6. Kurt Stefano. Reportedly straight and mostly bottomed because he had difficulty getting hard with guys. Still, a beautiful man.
  7. "Planet Earth" was created by Gene Roddenberry of Star Trek, it never made it beyond the two made-for-TV movies. The first was "Genesis II" and had a different actor playing John Saxon's part.
  8. Based on a friend's recommendation, I started watching "For All Mankind" on Apple TV. An alternate history of the space race, where the USSR lands a man on the moon a month before Apollo 11, catching everyone by surprise.
  9. I hired Marcus around 2003. He was a lot of fun. I was visiting our company's home office in the San Francisco area, and remember talking with him from my desk phone and really trying to keep my side of the conversation discreet :-) He appeared on one episode of a home makeover show but I was never able to find that episode to record it.
  10. I feel the same way about Woody Allen. His earlier somewhat slapstick films (Sleeper, Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex) were good, but later it just seemed to devolve into "look at my psychological issues, they're so funny" - and they weren't.
  11. At that point, I didn't have that much to give him. I hired him once or twice more but he moved out of state after that.
  12. I don't know if six episodes qualifies as a binge. "Monty Python: Almost The Truth", a documentary series, is on Netflix. The first episode was about each of of their childhoods., their early careers, how some of them met each other & started working with each other individually before forming the group. I've been a huge huge Monty Python fan since 1975. I was glued to it. 20-year-old John Cleese is very hot.
  13. Yeah, and while I couldn't afford to give him what I'd paid him the previous night, I did give him something, $20 I think?
  14. This one https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/pornstar-escorts-i-have-hired.117640/ is the discussion about who you have hired.
  15. One guy I hired asked me to come back the night after I'd hired him, no charge. That was a sincere compliment.
  16. it'll eventually show up in all of them.
  17. Or they just put absolutely no thought into the flavor, just how effective it was at purging. There's an old quote, "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity" - and I'd add "thoughtlessness" to "stupidity".
  18. That exact scenario was in the annual training we're required to take at work about "Office Conduct". Those things crack me up. I'm pretty sure our company started emphasizing them after one of the high-level executives of the company was caught in a huge sex harassment scandal.
  19. I've never had the horrible prep drinks; my sisters warned me about it before my first procedure, saying "it's like drinking thick salt water". I had the same prep that you did, and it just tasted like Gatorade.
  20. This is the premise of a new showing starting on CBS All Access August 9, "Star Trek: Lower Decks". A comedy focusing more about the support crew than the command crew. The trailer has one crewmember assigned to "Holodeck cleanup", and another crewmember says "That's Klingon prison stuff!" I'm looking forward to it. I'm fond of the "Lower Decks" episode of Next Generation, focusing on four junior crew members; in no small part influenced by one of the junior crew members is played by Dan Gauthier...
  21. Why did I think of the end of Blazing Saddles, when it breaks out into the studio? "They lose me after the bunker scene".
  22. I'm getting more hooked on "I'll Be Gone in the Dark". I am having a hard time NOT googling to find whether the EAR/ONS guy was ever caught, I don't want to spoil it. I remember browsing the Downton Abbey wiki before I was caught up on the series and unexpectedly found out some things... :-(
  23. I remember an interview with Jimmy Fanz where, if I remember correctly, he was asked about escorting; he said something like he was too disorganized and would probably make a botch of it. This was during my frequent googling of "Jimmy Fanz escort".
  24. Agreed. An escort asking is somewhat out of line. That's much weirder coming from a masseur.
  25. Nobody's mentioned Jimmy Fanz yet? Never escorted as far as I know, nor does porn any more, but oh my. Solomon/Aspen - he did have an ad up at one point. And I have to echo Jamie and Archie from Sean Cody.
