Who's the worst criminal you've ever known?
+ poolboy48220 replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
There's a graphic novel called "My Friend Dahmer", true story about a guy who grew up with Jeffrey Dahmer. He wasn't close friends with him, but hung out with him from time to time. It's been made into a movie that's showing now. -
My uncle, a good friend of my Dad's that he introduced to my Mom's younger sister, and they ended up marrying. He was a charmer, but a drifter; could never hold down a job, would quit a job without another prospect because the first job "wasn't fulfilling him". They lived off my grandmother's charity for years, a fact we didn't know until after my grandmother died, and he left the family a few months after her death, saying "They'd be better without him". I asked his daughter once if she knew where he was, and she said "no idea. Probably dead".

hahahaha - thank you, but those pictures (if they existed) would burn out your eyes like staring into the sun.

Thanks for the flashback! :-) It makes me think of a line in one of Gordon Merrick's books, something like "He'd walked through the locker room like this sometimes, not quite hard but definitely more than soft". I remember seeing a guy walk through the showers and steamroom at my gym, and I did end up taking him home. Funny that some of the guys with the biggest cocks turn out to be bottoms...

Aquaman is Francois Sagat. You've got a good eye, I didn't recognize Johnny. Is Green Lantern in the non-porn Justice League movie?

Anyone else noticing that the majority of these pictures are guys who dress downward? This one's one of the few who have their cocks pointing up. There's a few sideways, as well :-)

Does he have an escort ad up? The links in the old threads all go to 404s, and I briefly looked over the Palm Springs rent.men listings (116 guys? Lucky you) and didn't see him. -
I credit the local gay swim team with playing a huge part in my coming out. Great group of people, lots of social activity.

A few years ago, my younger sister and her husband were flying in Christmas Day, I was picking them up at the airport & taking them straight to my older sister's house for presents and Christmas dinner. All sorts of delays on their flight, so the three of arrived several hours late, to a house of children going crazy because they couldn't open presents and adults who'd been eating appetizers all afternoon. After we got through the presents, my older sister said "We've all been nibbling all afternoon and nobody's hungry enough for dinner, I'm just going to save it & serve it tomorrow" - leaving my younger sister, her husband, and I out in the cold. She's been teased about that ever since. The next year, I ostentatiously brought a turkey TV dinner, just in case.

I do go to the bar alone a lot, but it's one I've gone to for years, so I'm very likely to find someone there that I know and can chat with. And the bartenders know me.

I think you may find a lot of us are in that boat. Growing up knowing I was gay, I didn't try to date girls. I did get asked to Sadie Hawkins :-) A lot of us who come out late in life (36 for me) don't know how to date, flirt, whatever.

I think it's acceptable to say that you can't because you have family in town, and then just let that hang & see if she invites them :-)
-
Indeed. It's like when the dentist chats. At least the masseur doesn't expect you to know what tooth he's talking about when he refers to them by number.

Shhh. Gallahad heard. -
no arguments, and I've been to some great parties like that, but I've also had parties with a set guest list - mostly dinner parties, with table settings, portions, etc. Early on, when a friend was visiting from out of town and I hosted a dinner at my house, lots of our mutual friends said they couldn't make it at the time, but would come later. I didn't have the experience to say "That's great, you're welcome to show up later for drinks and hanging out, but dinner will be served at 7:00", and I spent all night running around re-doing dinners.

I got the impression there were three hosts, and the original poster was one of hosts.

That's why I finally stopped watching "Shameless" (the American version). Even Fiona, the most sympathetic of all, got hard to watch.

William Seed is fairly new to porn, I've enjoyed what he's done so far. I'd love to find out if he escorts too.

"Stranger Things" on NETFLIX

I've just started too, I'm three episodes in. -
Fully politically incorrect...in high school in the mid 70's, one of my good friends (not an Asian) was commonly known as "Chink", because he had squinty eyes. To this day, I don't think my parents know his real name.

Miss Manners says it's a no-no, but if it happens to you as host, make the most of it. This is from a letter from two people who (unwittingly) were the uninvited guests - the hostess opened the door and said, with a frozen smile, "Oh, look! Uninvited guests!" Rudeness on both sides, although if I'm remembering the letter right, the uninvited guests were assured (by the guest who invited them) that it was okay.

Sticking with my dear departed mother's baste of white wine & butter. I cooked a turkey basted in bourbon for a company potluck one year, I worked from home in the morning to cook it and from the fumes...well, the afternoon in the office was not my most productive.

I'm continually surprised by how many actors on "The Walking Dead" (including Rick/Andrew Lincoln) are British. I think it's kind of cool when casting ignores race or nationality. When Denzel Washington was cast as Keanu Reeve's brother in "Much Ado About Nothing", I was initially confused, but then thought it was brilliant. Oddly enough, hair color matters to me. A brunette, not blond, Barry Allen in "The Flash"? A barely-red-headed Ben Affleck as Daredevil? Argh. There was an old King of the Hill episode where the guys were talking to their new Asian neighbor at a neighborhood barbeque. They asked "Are you Chinese, or Japanese?" He said he was from Laos and explained where it was. The guys looked confused, then asked again "So are you Chinese, or Japanese?"
