Quoting Miss Manners again (what a broken record I am ), that is...or was...standard tipping protocol. One doesn't tip an owner of a business, and risks offending them if a tip is offered. Granted, I think the letter in the Miss Manners book was talking about a hair salon. These days, I think you'd have to look hard to find someone offended by a tip...but that's how things USED to be done.

Please don't save it! After that story, I'd love to hear another.

With the wealth of pictures here, I've been pondering if we have to distinguish between a bulge, a VPL, and "oh that's just his cock showing". Thoughts?

Interesting, he is so often NOT a sub bottom in his movie roles.

I think "specially" is correct. Put "wonderfully" there and it works, whereas "wonderful" does not. I was about to mention that episode as well until I read the rest of your response and you covered it. I think the episode is called "The Bubble", from the virtual bubble that Jon Hamm's character lives in due to his being really really really good-looking. I remember Liz asking for some special order at a restaurant, and the waitress shut her down. John Hamm asked for the same special and the waitress fawned over him. Then he asked for it with the menu covering his face and got shut down as well?

"Only Fans". Am I the Only One Not Joining?
+ poolboy48220 replied to + Lance_Navarro's topic in The Lounge
as a client, I have no plans to join. I find all I need from rentmen, m4rn, and this site, without paying until I actually hire. And @Lance_Navarro is on my list to actually hire, but (much like Tristan Baldwin), he doesn't get out to Michigan much, and I don't travel much, so that's a vague future. -
The january 1986 man of the year issue. Sorry, I was unclear - *I* panicked and threw the issue out of my car window (rather than throw it out at home where he might find it).

I bought the Brian Buzzini issue of Playgirl, then panicked when my roommate came home from Christmas vacation and tossed it out the car window.

Wil Wheaton once said he liked that theme song, because it replaced Wesley Crusher as The Most Hated Thing in the Star Trek universe.

If they're playing by strict canon...Spock served with Captain Pike on the Enterprise for 11 years, four months, and five days So at the time of Discovery, the Enterprise is commanded by Captain Pike and Spock is serving there.

I have the exact same complaint. This happened with episode 2 of "The Orville" (which just moved to Thursdays), and luckily we started watching the recording of Discovery early enough that I could set up the following show (some CSI thingy?) to record, getting the last 20 minutes or so of Discovery that way. Being a total non-football-fan, it bugs me that it just poops all over the schedule. I'm a big fan of the Heidi Bowl

Cute Critters to Take Our Minds Off Everyday Stresses
+ poolboy48220 replied to + quoththeraven's topic in The Lounge
A friend of mine is having a long stressful period at work; she said she's resorting to googling pictures of babies and puppies on nearly a daily basis to keep herself cheerful. We met at their house last night to watch a movie and I asked if it was okay to bring the dogs (my own, and my sister's dog that I was watching for the weekend). I don't think she watched more than 10 minutes of the movie, every time I looked over she was watching the dogs and smiling. :-) -
Not sure if it's my MOST memorable, but one of my very very first hires was at a house, on the floor in a beautiful room in front of a fireplace. I undressed and laid down, he kept his underwear on & started the massage. After a while, I looked over and saw he'd lost the underwear. He was working on my inner thighs and I said "you're starting to give me a hard-on", to which he replied "Let me see". I flipped over and we had a wonderful time. Kind of pedestrian by my current standards, but to the new-to-the-whole-thing me, it was pretty amazing.

I met him when he was travelling with another guy. he's a nice guy, pics are accurate (or were then, 5 years ago maybe?). The other guy was a much more forceful personality so Taylor came across as pretty quiet.
-
OK now that's just dangerous. he's going to get the hots someplace he would rather not. :-)

If I had to worry about that I'd have to cover myself completely in duct tape before leaving the house. Can't afford that much duct tape.

I'm sure there are plenty of well-run sites that have their mobile app, mobile website, and desktop website all totally in sync with each other. And a lot of others where there are tech people scrambling because they changed the desktop website but forgot to make that change on the mobile site/mobile app.

Know anyone who has had weight loss surgery?
+ poolboy48220 replied to + FreshFluff's topic in The Lounge
A friend had weight loss surgery, I'm not sure what kind. He's 6'8" and was close to 500 lbs. He's much slimmer now but had many, many, problems with it and says if he had it to do over he wouldn't do the surgery. I'm not sure exactly what problems he had from it. -
They made a joke about this in the Flash TV show (the 1990's one with John Wesley Shipp, not the new Grant Gustin one). He and his girlfriend Iris were in bed, and she made some comment about "That was over pretty fast".

I've hired Luke Harrington and based on what you want I wouldn't recommend. Hot as fuck, good time, but I wouldn't characterize it as an intimate connection.

A gay gymnast with hairy chest. Be still my heart.

Don't know, but there was a regular April Fool's joke an another forum posting that he'd returned to porn.

It's the same Zak Spears that was popular around the late 90's / early 2000's. I'd recognize that voice anywhere.
