  3. I have digital subscriptions. But I also occasionally buy the newspapers. Here in Phily: The Times is three dollars. The Wall Street Journal is four dollars. Cheap for what you are getting.
  4. The occasional over dependence on Wikipedia.
  5. Yes, I am old enough to remember a little. True of many things at my age (74).
  6. The year Hunter starred in the film "Damn Yankees, " Tony Perkins played the same role on stage in Massachusetts summer theaters, just the ones with the big audiences.
  7. Tab Hunter proformed on Broadway with Tallulah Bankhead in a Tennessee William play. Aguess:The Milk Train doesn't here anymore might have been the title. I'll miss him.
  8. I was visiting Amsterdam the year the World Cup took place in Germany. Four years later in Prague when the tournament took place in South Africia. The other side to the violence is the joy when Holland won a match. In 2010, people were for Slovakia in the square near the Jewish Quarter in Prague. I am one hundred percent Scottish so the English fan do not bother much, despite totally stupid stuff.
  9. An interesting industrial city in northern Spain. My last visit was 1973 when Franco was still alive. Ugh.
  10. @edjames, I liked Barbara Harris in 1965, so might consider seeing it again. But, I agree with everything you wrote.

  15. When I saw the revival of South Pacific on Broadway in 2008, an elderly lady sat next to me. She wanted to talk. I was concerned. Glad I listened. She was in the original production of South Pacific, and wonderful comments about Richard Rodgers and Mary Martin. And she loved the revival. What seemed like an awkward situation was very interesting. Unsure of the spelling of her lsst name, so have to guess. Perhaps Her name: Bernice Sanders
  16. Sorry. I should have been clearer. I visited Bosnia about five years ago, especially Mostar.
