  1. Novak Djokovic has faced hostile crowds for years because he isn't Rodger Federer or Rafa Nadal. But, this tournament is different matter. Ugh.
  2. Well, exhibition tennis in Serbia and Croatia for charity is not a terrible idea, but Novak putting a family member in charge was a mistake. Pray that nobody is really sick, especially Gregor.
  3. I am not surprised that you give back with your time and especially, your enthusiasm.
  4. The #1 male tennis player and his wife both were tested in Belgrade and were found to have the virus. From The Guardian and also Eurosport. Several articles identified Djokovic as being anti-vaccine in relation to COVID19. I believe he said not sure about vaccines. Not a good position when you are hosting tournaments in Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and possibly Bosnia.
  5. People in the military usually celebrate Memorial Day. My dad was part of the second world war, and there are always small flags near his grave by middle to late May. Volunteers must place the flags. Much appreciated.
  6. I believe Bergen and Carlisle were panelists on To Tell The Truth, although they may have also appeared on What's My Line occasionally too. I liked Polly a lot, but yes she could be silly and annoying.
  7. "What's My Line" was broadcast at 10:30 pm eastern time on Sunday nights. So the last show before Monday and work Even though I wasn't crazy about Dorothy Kilgallen, the show never fully recovered from his passing away in the Fall of 1965. I think WML needed someone very smart and not always completely likable Arlene and Bennett were friend off camera. Dorothy but not as much. She was more conservative.
  8. Very difficult to find someone as witty and smart as Arlene Francis. I believe she said the secret was to listen to the three other people on the panel rather than focus on your own next question Thanks for the suggestion ? ?
  9. I know Stockholm fairly well from visits around 2010s.. Back then most residents were Scandinavian, so a bit difficult from the the mix of residents of the United States. And I recall a bit more satisfied with the government, if not the Nobel Prize award by Oslo.
  10. Swimming in the Dark by the Polish author Tomasz Jedrowski The Eternal Party by Kristina Hagman She is Larry Hagman:s. daughter. Her mom outlived Larry, but was disabled with Alzheimer's, which had a major impact on their family. Of course.
  11. Thanks for a clear logical response:. "We look at information available."
  12. Ms. Lynn raises the spirit of England during the Second World War with the hopeful song "We'll Meet Again.". The song is relevant now in the age of covid19. RIP
  13. Totally false The media turned against the war in Vietnam after the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong scored a moral victory during the Viet Offense in January 1968. The North attacked against in the spring of 1968.

  15. Remember that some people keep friends from several parts of their lives. Others may keep only one friend, @Gar1eth. It isn't your fault!
  16. Neither do I. In fact, I have enough trouble doing homework for my self.
  17. To be fair to @Gar1eth, most people might be frustrated by the stop and start responses.
  18. Once again, we are talking/posting past each other. We have different ideas and values.
  19. Actually, I don't negotiate much, so the two words pretty much mean the same to me
  20. Huh? Doesn't everyone bargain. I gave up once when someone I really wanted to hire for an overnight wouldn't budge at all from s very high price.
  21. I do understand not an idiot
