  1. Live and let life doesn't seem to apply to many of your posts here. For a while I seriously believed you were paid to disrupt this forum.
  2. That could also apply to @samhexum, but at least Sam is funny (but certainly not always, ask Christopher Plumber's daughter or Tony Bennett's wife).
  3. With the exception of the recent Tony Bennett post it is obvious you attended college
  4. I saw Senator Margaret Chase in the Senate when she was only woman there (1970).
  5. I crossed the street in Boston with John Wayne when I was a teenager. I was in the audience on Broadway with Nancy Reagan when she was first lady. I met Bobby Kennedy when he was running for president in 1968. Inspired by @Lucky and his interesting post
  6. However you go too far, especially concerning Tony Bennett
  7. Helen's beloved husband was Broadway's Charles McArthur. And she wanted to be called Mrs. MacArthur. But her real name was Helen Hayes Brown
  8. I saw a wonderful concert in New York with Queen Latifiah.. And Liza Minnelli and Madonna in the audience. Milesssa Etherige performed as well
  9. @samhexum And Helen Hayes is best known for the television series "The Snoop Sisters," and several appearances as the mystery guest on "West My Line."
  10. You have Audra MacDonald mixed up with Jeanette MacDonald who died decades ago. More important, you live in New York and occasionally post information from New York newspapers. Audra is a Broadway star, a bit difficult to believe you don't know who she is
  11. A. You seem to be surprised Mike Wallace and Chris Cuomo are not the same in private as in public. B. Audra MacDonald is a Broadway stars with many Tony Awards for Acting in Musical C. After I saw Audra as Billie Holiday, I saw her walking in my direction. I told her I have an elderly male friend who saw Billie performances in Philadelphia. Audra "How can I reach, Marty."
  12. @samhexum Gee celebrates in private (and in public) aren't what they seem. Except for me, Audra MacDonald',
  13. But Ethel Merman would need help flying, although she actually was a tiny woman.
  14. @samhexum how about some cheerful news for a change
  15. Liza might be right for the musical Peter Pan, who who would play Captain Hook?
  16. I role written for Julie Andrews isn't necessarily right for Liza
