  2. I saw a production in one of the small theatres of the Sydney Opera House in the early 1990s I missed Stephen Bogardus, although the Aussie Whizzer was very good too
  3. Agree. I saw "The March of the Falsettos" in New York City in the early 80s before listening to the album. Perhaps the actor who plays Whizzor has to be believable as an attractive and somewhat interesting figure.
  4. I am not a fan of the film even though Thomas Mann is one of my favorite authors. Mann won the Nobel Prize in Literature for "Buddenbrooks"and his short stories. I prefer "The Magic Mountain," but the Nobel Comittee had a problem with the novel. I do like Benjamin Britton opera of "Death of Venice." Perhaps the live performance of an opera made the difference. There's no doubt that I must watch the film after reading your post.

  10. Watching Nolan's press conference on Zoom, yes he is very goodlooking. However, goodlooking doesn't win baseball games. He is part Puerto Rican and part Cuban. But Nolan does not speak Spanish. He jokingly blamed his parents for not speaking Spanish.
  11. Alzheimer's is a horrible last act for Tony Bennett. His Tony Bennett at Carnegie Hall album from the 1960s is still available on CD. Godspeed Mr. Bennett
  12. Arenado had signed a long term contract with the Colorado Rockies with no trade and opt out opportunity. To soften the burden of the contract Colorado is handing St. Louis 50 million dollars.
