No. I think we are living now in a time where we witness historic events every day. I’m a child of : the Vietnam Woodstock, Watergate, both Kennedy assassinations , the walk on the moon and the killing of thousands . We are living historic events each day

Perhaps I am proving myself to be the village idiot, but what are the four F's?

I sometimes snore lightly. And on many occasions I've been told that I kick or move my legs and feet like I'm running
Hugs,

After years 0f being on planes for work (and sometimes fun), really find no joy, excitement, or romance to air travel. Besides the airport, plane itself, and getting to and from the airport, if it's a longer trip, making sure the house is in travel mode. I close faucet valves (once had a valve under bathroom sink start leaking), and unplug TVs, and computer as we get power surges occasionally. Also the packing, unpacking, and laundry, and the rush to get clean clothes for work, or next trip. Sometimes had to buy clothes on the road if trip extended. Over the years I collected a tons of socks and underwear, about, oh I don't know, 50-60 shirts, 25-30 pairs of pants (need for all seasons, not counting the shorts/jeans), coats and jackets strictly for travel, and more dress shoes than I will ever wear again. Still haven't finished purging the inventory to give to charity, as I like to go shopping in my own closet before going out to buy something.
Now retired, I limit my air travels to places I really want to be, not have to be. Makes it somewhat easier. Just always dread then trip home.
time to create some white space in your life and closet. Lighten the load as you move forward.

Thanks guys so much for your comments and advice! I was thinking of texting him back and explaining how I feel and see what he comes back with. I’ll then go with my gut feeling! I can see the advantages and disadvantages but something’s telling me theres plenty of other fish out there and why should i risk meeting someone literally a minutes walk from my door? Just in case he turns out to be a scary shark or something!
Thanks again for all your comments!

Growing up in CT, a liquor store was a "package store" or "packie" for short.
Coming to MA for college, it was weird that all of a sudden soda was "tonic" or "pop." What I used to call grinders as a kid became "subs."
"Hoagie" to me is the name of the guy who wrote the tune for "Stardust" (i.e. Hoagy Carmichael.)
what part of Massachusetts did you go to college at?

Was on a plane a while back and the woman next to me nursed her infant on takeoff and landing (recommended for clearing pressure in the ears) and 1 other time when kid was crying.
I would much rather have a nursing mom next to me than a crying kid for hours. She simply put a coverup over her chest and there was nothing to see.
she sounds like a caring and considerate mom.

Thanks. I presume the big store on Mt. Auburn st. in Cambridge doesn't fall into that category?
That was one of Star Market's premier locations, the corporate office used to be in an office building next door. I think they kept the Star Market name for that one. Directly across the street from the Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

When I was working full time, I could never understand how the younger folk would buy their lunch out everyday for $10 or more dollars, get the fancy coffee drinks out.... and then complain how they never had any money. My budget was $5 is I bought lunch but most of the time I brought from home.

When I was a grad student in Boston years ago we had this Chinese food truck on campus. They must have had like 50 things on the menu all delicious. Everything cost $3 and came in a styrofoam box with a plastic spork. Went there for lunch almost every day. Of course when I was feeling really cheap I would get frozen microwave burritos - 3 for a buck at star market. Is that chain still around?
Star Market is now part of Shaw's (Albertson's). They kept the Star Market name for some of their smaller stores.

If you do not go for the sleep number or one of the many foam mattress on the market, and go with a mattress with spring, Make sure it is a 2 sided mattress. That is all i sell in my store . all the big names on the market are 1 sided , and will end up sleeping in a hole,
where is your store?

I was at the beach a couple weeks back and 2 guys were openly fornicating, no tent, no blanket, just going at it right in front of everyone. I couldn't (and still can't) believe they were not taken away in handcuffs - which I have seen done for much less x-rated behavior than that. Anyway they were total hotties - lean, twentysomethings - one a hairy chested white guy with a superbly coiffed beard, the other a smooth, caramel skinned latino with an Egyptian hieroglyph tattoo on his pectoral. Everybody around was totally cool just minding their own business, except me, I was staring in disbelief, jaw on the sand, drool coming out of my mouth!
which one was the top?

"If you don't use it, you'll lose it
You need to figure out some way for you to get out of the house. It is to easy to fall into the pattern of being a victim. Go somewhere: public park, museum, public library. See if there are any programs where you can read to someone who can't. You need to do something. I am fairly certain that depression is contributing to some part of your health issues.
