Is there such a thing as the trucker look?

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears; I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him. The evil that men do lives after them; The good is oft interred with their bones; So let it be with Caesar... You all did love him once, not without cause: What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him? O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts, And men have lost their reason. Bear with me; My heart is in the coffin there with Caesar, And I must pause till it come back to me.

Figuratively speaking, you hit the nail on its head.

I also have noticed that Biden does indeed use "Look" at the beginning of many answers, esp when he doesn't like the question. I have tried to analyze why so many politicians use this useless word ("Omit needless words." says Strunk & White, The Elements of Style, page 12). It seems to be a rhetorical device, similar to "Listen" for gaining and holding attention and for asserting authority in advance of emphasizing a point. It's like saying "Listen, I am going to say something very important, so pay attention!" As you noted, it is a viral crutch that seems to be spreading throughout media.

https://www.gayguides.com/forums/ Merged with gayguides.com --- I suspect that in a time where child exploitation is in the media so often that a site named "Boytoy" might have been a liability. There has been others who have written about this merger - just search under "Boytoy" above.

Having worked with those afflicted with addiction , I am never surprised by what they may say or do. In the case of the young man, at some point, we were all afflicted with immaturity and the arrogance of youth. "You wouldn’t return a kick to a mule, he said, or a bite to a dog. You’d just move on. You say, “Oh, that’s what dogs and mules do.” -- The Stoics

The family-owned funeral home is a dying industry
JayCeeKy replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
While we're on this grave subject, you may not know that Federal law requires funeral homes to accept caskets that consumers have purchased from another source, such as an online retailer. You may also build your own casket, if you prefer. Costco has great prices on caskets - you might even catch them on sale and get one dirt cheap. https://www.costco.com/funeral.html -
Walking three miles a day on the treadmill. 5-Minute Arm Workout with 5 lb dumbbells each day. Intermittent Fasting using the 16/8 Method - last meal by 7 p.m. and first meal at 11 a.m. Low carb, high fat diet. Have lost about 11 lbs in the past few weeks (first few days are roughest on IF but body adapts).

I appreciated his insightful and educated comments. If there really is an "Invisible Hand" may it lift Adam Smith to a place of happiness.

Ha ha. Yes, guilty as charged. You must have a great memory.

The Genovese story has undergone quite a bit of revisionism in the past few years. Contrary to the original Post story, several individuals actually did respond to Kitty’s screams that night, coming to her aid and calling the police. Many others who heard the screams thought it was a lovers' quarrel or a drunken brawl. And calling 911 was not available in those days and people were often hesitant to involve themselves with the cops who were not always seen as the Good Guys. The "bystander effect" is a real phenomenon but not totally accurate in the Genovese case. More to your point, I no longer get the physical newspaper as delivery of the local The Courier-Journal became problematic. I am a faithful online reader of The Courier-Journal, The New York Times, and in recent months The Washington Post, which has become my favorite source of news and commentary.

I also hooked up with "CountryboyD" whose pics don't do him justice. I won't do a review, but hopefully the new pics I took of him this evening will show what a hot guy he is. https://rentmen.eu/CountryboyD

Not a Kenny expert but I always appreciated Kenny's strong opinions even though I didn't always agree with him. I hope he is doing well.

I agree. The "hunt" was most of the fun. Finding a super hot stud leaning up against the wall at Rounds was exhilarating. Anybody remember the big African-American gentleman who sat at the entrance of Rounds?

I hate to break a consensus, but body, always. Genetics control the face, but hard work and perseverance determine the body. Too many "pretty boys" have an attitude, in my experience.

Giovanni was nice and Vinn was accommodating. In the end (no pun intended), I went with Kevin (link below) and I'm happy I did. He spent about two hours with me w/out looking at the clock. He may be making an encore appearance this evening. https://rentmen.eu/fuckurpics

Arquez responded to me as "faggot" and I quote " Shid (sic) bye faggot" - consider that if you are considering him when hiring.
-
Arquez is the only one who seemed a bit picky about what he would or would not do, though I guess that it's better that an escort let you know that beforehand.
