Have been somewhat absent from the forums and from life; Dad was in the hospital 4 days last week- completely ruined a father son trip we had planned. Life comes at you quick. With that being said....both several clients and escorts alike have asked me my take on this Coronavirus deal. I don’t think it’s in an imminent threat of dying even if you were to connect with someone who had it....but the greater risk at this point *I* believe is for the workers...because they’re traveling at their own expense to cities where they’re expecting schedules that are going to pay out. Realistically....having spoken with tons of those guys....those schedules aren’t paying out and they’re experiencing massive cancellations. For me...despite being a total airline / skymileage loyalty whore....I’m finishing out the limited schedule I have prepaid, and sticking close to home. If they’re at the point they’re debating canceling the Olympics; things aren’t getting better any time soon.

Haven’t touched Dallas in years; used to love the city...but realistically these little games just don’t make it effective to go there. They barely burn me....once every other trip...but I’m just at the point where it’s not effective to even deal with them.

@former lurker - Not much anyone can do, and thankfully I’m not at much risk because I’m not working. If I was trolling around Hong Kong like i LOVEEEEEE to do, might be a different story. However, I gotta admit I was nervous as all fuck on the flights in from Hong Kong, then inter-Vietnam. Lots of Chinese tourists, all hacking wheezing coughing eating Durians ON AN AIRPLANE, spitting in bottles on an airplane(are you chewing tobacco or trying to lose weight like a high school wrestler, what’s going on here?!), literally a one hour 40 minute period between Hanoi and Phu Quoc where I felt like I was on the edge of my seat. Couldn’t wait to get off the plane. However, interesting to note...some of these were very, VERY rich Chinese too...and they didn;’t even seem to care about their own kind coughing, and many weren‘t wearing masks...so I don’t know the severity to which to take things. I think @quoththeraven posted statistics yesterday that said it’s fatal in 2.9 or 2.7 percent of cases...that’s actually kind of a scary number, when you look at it across the board. The idea of the airports in Asia kinda getting shut down or restricted...(I predict Japan will preventatively be next, to stay ahead of it), makes me think I’ll take @bashful ’s advice and head west through Europe out of Singapore or through Qatar. Luckily, the return trip home is a mileage ticket...so it’s fairly flexible. Truly appreciate everyone’s concern. So I have limited firsthand knowledge of exactly what he does during sessions, but apparently the kid ‘Christian Thorn’ from Can-Am and a few other wrestling companies, takes private clients. There was a website called ‘Wayback Machine’ where you used to be able to look at indexed copies of websites, viewed at a given moment in time. However, some pictures or content wouldn’t import perfectly, and I don’t know if the data on a given message forum would all be available/viewable...but to offer my opinion as a worker on this topic....I’m in virtually completely agreement with what I’m seeing above. Competition seemed intense, reliable, but the market for it still strong in the late 2000’s when I first came in. Furthermore, the amount of ‘travel postings’ by given providers was thick....if I posted one in the morning, it was off the first page by that evening. Now, it seems like either a) guys aren’t traveling, or b) they don’t care to come here and post about it anymore. Could be a combination of things, but I think a period where as the reliability and strength of looks of the guys declines; it doesn’t necessarily make it better for the rest of us that are ‘still in the fight’....I think it causes people to lose interest in the hobby, period. One of the things that always surprises me is the number of the guys who are afraid to leave this country to find a better deal. G, I agree with you...you’d think he’d do anything to get people in the door. And I think it’s DISGUSTING the inaccuracy of RentMen reviews that he has a surprising number of positive ones, self written. Then again , ‘an escort who shall not be named’ who was a problem on this board, has 300 or 400 plus. ?. People with too much time on their hands. I just hate the fact that the dude he burned is someone I’ve known 10 years, and if stopped with just the money it’s one thing but it went into blackmail and threats. Whole other line being crossed. Throwing this out there. Many of you know I’ve posted before for people who don’t feel comfortable having an electronic trail back to them. Not only are the pics old dated he’s an outright thief and blackmailer. Alright, quick post here from Barcelona. More to follow with a little trip report later, but I was inspired to post this because of a nearly disastrous experience yesterday. Alright....both clients and escorts alike...we’ve probably had moments where some bonehead little thing interfered with the ability to have a session, etc. The bane of my existence has always been....RAZORS. I typically try not to shave just before appointments, in the event I cut myself. However, multiple times now...I’ve had it happen where I stick my hand into my bag of cosmetics / toiletries and literally run a five bladed razor across my fingertip...and now it’s bleeding like a fountain. OR, multiple times I’ve nipped the corner of my lip and now I’m bleeding and don’t feel comfortable going through with a session, because of open cuts(my rule of thumb is always a no no). Well, the other day...I’m with a great guy, repeat that I would consider a friend...and as I’m climbing into the shower half asleep...my dick flips out and across the tip of the razor I’m carrying in my hand. GUSHING from the tip within seconds. Totally had to adjust the type of play, and I tapered down the price as well, since we weren’t able to do a quarter of what I/we like to do....but had this been any other client and not as understanding...this session would have been lost. Hey guys! A number of you touched with your concern about my well-being while over here, and told me to check in when it was feasible. Couldn’t do that directly to you guys, as per the advice of ‘friends from DC’ that are on this forum and work for Uncle Sugar, it was a better idea to bring sterile electronic devices over here. No banking information, no ‘work’ information, and no client contacts stored anywhere. It’s hard to gauge whether that was necessary or not, but it’s always best to err on the side of caution. Ok, a couple quick takeaways, let you all get on with your week. One, I honestly think the shroud of ‘secrecy’ / fear of the Russians getting into your shit is completely dependent on who you are, what your purpose is in Russia. If you’re there for one or two days in St Petersburg on a cruise- you don’t even need a VISA but you’ll be accompanied at practically all times by handlers from the ship. If you have a tourist visa on your own, 15-30 days, I can’t comment on how hard they’ll bird dog you. I received a 3 yr visa with a personal guarantee from local Russians I met, while in Bali. Essentially, if I Fuck up here...they are criminally and financially responsible for me..so I didn’t even get a second glance going through their customs / passport control. There’s literally a field on your passport of THE NAME of who or what entity signed for you, as well as the nature of your visa /how often you have to leave in that 3 yr period(I can only stay up to 180 days continuous, which is 173 days more than I need LOL, ready for Greece or Italy.) So, as it turns out, my host flies drones(non military; though all Russians did/do serve at some point) and did freelance work for the city of Moscow as well as a three letter directorate of the Russian Federation, so apparently his word was gold. Also, because I didn’t know he did that work until I met one of his bosses from work at a hockey game, I’m DOUBLE GLAD I followed the advice to bring sterile stuff, because enough of my stuff was unsecured a large portion of the time. With that being said, Russians are ENAMORED to have American friends and want to show you off to EVERYONE. Almost like a status symbol. They were VERY giving- where it doesn’t matter if they live two families to a house that should be single family; they literally want to buy you meals, etc. For a frame of reference, money wise, by the way, here’s the sad part. Russian friend has a friend who is a police officer in Moscow, makes about 800-1000 dollars per month, essentially. Taxes are low here, only 8-13 percent but salaries are very low. Now, the cost for certain given items is many times higher- an iPhone that would cost 699.00 in the States costs 1599 here. I asked my friend how much his apartment would cost / be worth to buy, and he said 125,000 US. For something that would be 30 or 40k at best in most smaller cities in the US. (Even though Moscow is a bigger city 12M people, bigger than NYC population wise unless you include all the suburban boroughs), we are so far from downtown Moscow that I would consider myself in like a Newark or a Stamford CT, kinda. The real estate values are so over inflated it’s not even funny, but the cost of food and drink is comparatively low. The Metro is SUPER FAST, efficient, and CLEAN. Comparable to DC’s in my opinion and set up similar to London’s with outside veins coming in, and two circle rings running wide and then wider around the city’s heart. However, here’s the funny part. Rather than taking metro to a train to get to this air show yesterday(44 Miles away from the apartment; clear across Moscow), which would take 1 hr 30 mins to 2 hrs, instead if you OWN a car it’s a status symbol thing....you drive it, and moscow traffic is HORRENDOUS. Worse than NYC or LA...4 hrs 31 mins to this event. A trial in patience. There are clearly gay bars in Moscow, we’ve walked past them(I’m here with a ‘straight’ couple though I have my wonders about their curiosities, you’d think I’d have a radar for this by now..), and there’s no persecution. I just think the government here frowns on celebrities musicians etc ENCOURAGING IT....because they still have a stalwart rough conservative church system here...and with freedom to choose sexual orientation goes a lot more free thinking PERIOD. Leaving the air show yesterday, there wasn’t any fights....yet the RIOT POLICE with shields and batons came out and stopped the crowd for 10 minutes before heading to their cars. Just so certain people could leave first- oligarchs VIPS etc. It’s one thing to have barriers but another to be looking across a clear plastic shield at a 19 year old army cadet with a club in his hand. And where there VIPs were leaving from this crowd wouldn’t even affect...so it’s kind like they kept us there because they could / to remind you / show of force. Here, you follow the rules. You attack police here, you’re pretty much done. Anyhow....I should probably wrap this one up and get back to it...and maybe actually respond to some of the work emails in the box for other areas....for the other escorts out there; no real volume or pings on Mykonos, I’d skip that / not plan on it for work...and Rome had a decent amount but the hotel / housing situation can be tricky.
