Interesting! I was getting ready for an out of town trip, and one chore was refilling prescriptions. I was pleasantly surprised that my payment for all the usual was a 1/3 of the prior months. May because of this news, or maybe I hit my Medicare “catastrophic “ level? I’ll need to investigate when I get home. The cost for first 4-5 months of Truvada this calendar year (my first year on Medicare) was surprising, after on paying $50 copay for years. Hopefully this news or a true generic might help me out.

I’ve subscribed to maybe 4-5 OF streams, and I ALWAYS turn off auto-renew immediately. A couple of the newbie OF guys message me “why did you turn auto renew off?”. I just tell them “let’s see”. 🤣

Well I breezed through mine a few years ago. Although, the doc prescribed Tramadol for pain and I had a poor reaction to that. The surgery was easy. Not sure what kind of mesh they used, but TSA always pulls me aside for a pat down as a “something” shows up in that area on the TSA scan 😂 Not to mention my emergency surgery at six weeks old for a strangulated hernia, I was told it went well bit obviously I don’t remember!

BTW, I had a couple of concerns about my original vaccine card which is why I wanted to get some online/digital verification. 1) The team administering the first dose of my vaccine had used liquid paper to change the lot number of the vaccine and the date. Well I’m sure this was OK, it made me nervous. Second dose on the same card was an proper computer generated sticker. 2) I’ve travelled to Hawaii twice in the last three months, having to get a PCR test 72 hours before my flight on both occasions. Beginning July 8, it seems Hawaii will begin excepting fully vaccinated visitors. True to the Hawaiian government style, they have not indicated exactly what sort of documentation they will require. I’m traveling there on July 20, and I wanna make sure in a “belt and suspenders“ kind of way I have my vaccinated status verified
