1. Clearly, @Dominiking, it's not for you. I enjoy unraveling the layers myself. And with success, at least by my goals.
2. So true....and taking advantage of the "desperation" I sense in some of the messages would be easy. I never have, never will....similar to my "not if they have drank too much" rule. I won't take advantage. One new friend I've met from SA has become just a "friend" we've never had playtime, don't plan any at this point. He needed a short term helping hand/listener and I was there for him.
3. +1 WIDE range of expectations. From both sides from what I've heard from my "pound puppies"
4. Helpful in the sense that many out-of-my-area guys tend to be more $$ oriented, as opposed to "connection" minded. The "locals" I'm working with want that connection, I weed out the ones that don't. It is a bit like Craigslist. That said, it makes me laugh how some of these young guys don't want to travel 20 miles to meet me? I drive 30k+ mikes a year for work. Oh well, I'm learning quickly how much über costs me from various areas to my area, lol.
5. I've not offered anyone anything near your "episodic" amount, and I'm meeting lots of guys. Tonight I'm having a second date with a "seeking..." meet, not a penny has been discussed. He's a rare diamond in the rough there, I'll admit that. But my other meets have been lower or close to a Rentmen hourly rate, but I'm getting MUCH more than an hour's time, connection, chemistry than a Rentmen appointment. I have one similar situation as you, "too much on my plate" at least on my meeting guys "plate". Maybe SoCal has more choices - both real and scams!
6. @Oaktown have you had a single conversation on "seeking..." that's worked into a meeting?
7. Yes, but flip side - second date tomorrow night with a young man I've been communicating with for 6 weeks. well in fairness it was a balanced "get to know you " conversation before he asked for an advance/loan. It surprised me, maybe I exaggerated saying 42 messages lol? Believe me I usually vett them in/out if just a few lines, IF I EVEN open their message, more often lately I'm deleting a message without even replying.
8. Got a live one for you today @Oaktown Something like 42 messages back/forth with a very attractive young man, then: Him: But I do have one little request... Me: What's that? Him :I'm in a bit of a rut and need a little help and in turn I'd be a regular for you whenever you want Him a minute later : Basically what I'm wanting is a loan Me: Ummmm, sorry - no. Good luck with that. Good bye And now his messages deleted and he's blocked....that's how you handle those. EDIT: couple minutes later Him: "you..." expletive deleted.....
9. I hope he's packing the tan line, always seen in pics but the guys don't show up with them!!
10. Take two to "play". I'm usually long gone after their first move.
11. Ah, Got it, thanks! Yes often entertaining messaging there. I've found that 90% of the guys that "favorite" my profile are overseas? They usually don't even message me, just bookmark my profile. Whats with that? Do they keep a virtual Rolodex of suitors that perchance they will call on in the future?
12. How unfortunate! Almost a totally contrary experience to mine. Of course I receive the overseas requests for relocation, invest in a business, "Fly me to you". There is a delete conversation control. Surely @Oaktown you aren't surprised by these and ready to reject those messsages? Do you reply to Nigerian Prince emails? How did someone with "NO prior contact" have your text #? Do you put your number in your online profile??
13. @Dominiking is right..."seeking..." takes a bit more work than say RentMen. My experience has been that it's a hybrid of personals site and Adam4Adam and Rentmen, lol. I've chatted with guys whose "allowance" ranges from ZERO to thousand$/monthly. I don't meet the high end monthly allowance types, I prefer pitching a visit-by-visit arrangement on a semi-regular basis. Virtually all the young men I've met have been happy to meet for coffee, lunch, etc. for a first time no obligation meet, those motivated young men are as interested in a personal "connection" as I am before moving to the next step. (Honesty here - I have been stood up for that first coffee/lunch meet a couple times). Of Those that show up, a HUGE percentage are happy to head to my place for some more intimate time. It's been great and a LOT of fun for me. I'm the type that is patient and I enjoy "the hunt", I know from previous postings not all of you like the "hunt" like I do. I'm still learning, getting better figuring out who is going to work out for me, and more importantly knowing when I'm chatting up a time waster or someone looking for a quick buck. Best luck so far have been university students, with out-of-work actors (yay SoCal area!!) a close second. Busier student/work oriented guys my best matches so far. I'm enjoying spending the time invested in talking to these guys. In just the short time I've been on there I've made two new friends who art NOT arrangements, just friends!! Currently I'm in the lunch, second date, and intimacy stages with 3 different guys. I've got my eye on "one" who might for longer term .
14. I use porn "model" or "actor" or "performer" when describing them, pornSTARS are few and far between.
15. +1 and I posted my bad experience here elsewhere in the past
16. Merrit Butrick (RIP) Star Trek II Wrath of Kahn, and III Search of Spock
17. I'm still working the challenge with him, we will see!!! Talked to him last night and this morning, he's been good keeping in touch with me. He's invited me to San Diego in the next few days to meet, not sure my schedule will let it work
18. Well "not necessarily " rings true. But even with the new owners I think you'll find Grayson Danielz does not model for SC anymore...and its my understanding its was a discussion over his outside work that caused a contract dispute.
19. Vince looks great! Hired him maybe 15-20 years ago
20. I need to try a different browser when I click on info for "premium" I don't get a sign up page...I'll play with it more after Holidays
