Along the same lines @sync, I’ve been telling friends that I’ve found a certain peace, contentment in spending more time at home. Reading, meditating, gardening, working online in home office...has brought serenity. While I wouldn’t describe myself as an introvert, I’m not wildly social either. So I too see myself handling this different than friends and even other family members. -
I have a nice jacuzzi and it’s mentioned in my Grindr profile. Has attracted a lot of interest in the past ? and more than a few fun encounters follow a nice jacuzzi and back rub! Not so much lately as my profile clearly opens with a statement that I’m not meeting new friends right now.

Here in SoCal we can again bring in our own bags...most stores request you leave bags in cart and not place on conveyor belt. Bag your own in normal post-register location, employee will usually chip in and help, but not always nowadays. -

Smart and Final some time ago (pre Covid) the checker opened my egg carton and saw one cracked egg. “Do you want this replaced or I’ll take 40% off now...” millisecond of math in my head and I took the discount and the cracked egg. Made me wonder if I should crack one on purpose next time! ? I joke, I’d never do something that lowdown. -

I open the carton and check for obvious cracked eggs, I don’t remove them individually and check for cracks as @Gar1eth mentions in his OP. -
