:eek:Couples are usually a nightmare in one respect or another and I try to avoid at all cost (especially couples in Dallas).

However, if I get a request to join another escort who’s currently having FuN with a client, those types of calls are almost always good times.

The majority of escorts I’ve met, in the largest markets, do pnp. Regardless of what’s posted on their profile.

The cop claimed there was a complaint. As @BaronArtz said, I wouldn't be surprised if someone—a condo board member or just a neighbor who doesn't like Adam—noticed the traffic, somehow found his ad and reported it.

I am more nervous about hiring an escort in Chicago (I have not done it yet but really waiting for a young good looking escort travelling to Chicago) bcoz I read a lot of news regarding police sting operations. For me, NYC is a lot more safer when it comes to hiring male escorts, I think.

Let's all admit it. If we participate in an illegal activity (hiring escorts) there is always the (very small) chance we may run into a sting of some sort or another. The solution is to carefully and fully vet each new escort you hire. If you can find absolutely no reviews online and no information by asking about the man you are interested in on the forum, then you should realize you may be taking a chance and though I believe it is rarely the case, a sting is possible but not statistically probable, especially when seeking male companionship.

If your intuition tells you something is off, never pay up front and NEVER discuss money for anything sexual! All these techniques, such as going through the door and kissing the guy deeply, or requesting he get naked right away, may or may not safeguard you. In Lance's original post, Adam admits that the undercover officer asked him about specific sexual acts before removal of any clothing and without any physical interaction having yet occurred. Red flags all over in that case!

Best and safest: hire escorts who are recommended by people on the forum or IRL you know you can trust. Once you enjoy an excellent escort with whom you feel chemistry, hire them again and again. I know there are clients who are not "repeaters" and are always out to meat new men, but that is not the best way to avoid any possible legal entrapment. Still...

I have always been very careful in vetting new guys in depth. Last year, there was an escort on Rentmen in my area, with absolutely NO reviews, I posted a 411 on here about him and got zero feedback, so I decided to pass him by. Fast forward to about 8 months later, and a couple of members posted some very positive statements about this particular escort. Now, he is on my to hire list for 2018! So: vet, Vet, VET if you want to avoid any problems in hiring somebody new!

If an escort is rather well-known and favorably discussed on a board like this, or rent.men or Daddy's, I would hope I could assume he's not an undercover vice officer. And I know I'm not. So it would seem to me the only real risk to me, as a client, is if the escort is somehow under surveillance or if the outcall hotel is highly attentive to people's coming and going. (I guess that raises the "let's meet downstairs" or "come up to my room" question.) I'd like to think I'm not at much risk. I've hired four times with two different guys, once in Columbus (at The Arnold) and three times in Vegas, all of which went well and focused almost exclusively on muscle worship. But some of this discussion gets me spooked. Nobody is immune from risks, but I would hate to hang it up because I sure do like some muscle now and then.

In my experience, it’s been almost a cliche to think that most clients who hire escorts “must only be older guys”. That has never been my experience, overall. That’s because my clientele has always skewed on the younger side; on average 25-39.

However, in the last few months I’ve also been hired by an 18 yo, 19yo & was flown over to Europe in November to meet up with a 21 yo American college student who’d hired me during a trip to Dallas the previous summer.

An even bigger misconception is that clients who hire “have to hire in order to get laid”. In my experience, Ive been hired by some extremely attractive men, including other escorts, runway models, pro athletes etc.

In additon, in this day & age, with the popularity and ease of use of the hookup apps i.e. Grindr, Scruff, etc = almost NO ONE “needs” to hire an escort. Thats just the truth. Hiring is most importantly about convenience and also getting something specific and when u want it.

I don’t feel it’s about “desperation” as it maybe once was or is portrayed in movies.

I got nervous after reading these posts about police sting operations and ended up texting the masseur and cancelled my upcoming appointment with him. Good thing I did not contact an Escort, bcoz if I did the more I would freak out. I guess it's just me not being used to it . I thought cops in nyc don't really care much about arresting independent masseurs & clients, based on some posts I read here. Am I paranoid ? . Pls share your thoughts. Thanks guys.

I don't know what sort of building 'Adam' lives in. The presence of doormen is an indication this is a luxury rental or condo. If that is indeed the case, it is very likely that there are restrictions on using your apartment for business purposes. Especially if the legality of the business itself questionable. I would say that it is probable that some residents complained to the condo board. A steady stream of mature male visitors to apartment 93G? Doormen are very gossipy and usually 'know' what is going on.

If I’ve noticed a prospective client has looked at my profile numerous times in a short period of time (approx more then 5-7 times), I’ll send a casual introduction / “hello” and sometimes it has resulted in getting booked for an appt.

JTtorretto reacted to FTM Zachary Prince in Cancellation fees?
I personally do charge a cancellation fee. My business model makes it necessary. I invest a lot of money in advance to make myself available for clients. Since I serve a niche market, this allows me to meet clients from all over the country instead of listening to them lament from afar that they are dying to meet me but can't make it to my home city. But it does require some level of committment between my clients and I about our appointments.

If I didn't charge a cancellation fee, I know I would be suspicious and resentful of clients who canceled on me at the last minute. Anyone can say they're sick, or their mother died, or any number of excuses, but at the end of the day, I have no way of verifying any of that and I'll be the one stuck with a $300 hotel bill for a room that I didn't even end up using. Other clients have mentioned, here and elsewhere, that an escort has stopped communicating with them or accepting appointments after a last-minute cancellation. We often do this because we can't tell with certainty who legimately had a last-minute emergency and who is simply being disrespectful of our time. In an effort to protect ourselves from further losses in the future, we may cut off any client who cancels at the last minute, assuming the worst about their potential to repeat this behaviour in the future (as many who don't respect our time unfortunately do). For me, charging a cancellation fee is also a way of sorting between someone who genuinely had a last minute emergency but DOES respect my time/monetary investment, and someone who merely made an excuse because they didn't respect my time enough to keep their committment. This way, I don't end up resentful towards or cutting off a good client who genuinely respects my time but just couldn't make things work suddenly.

My cancellation policy is a contract between me and my clients where we both agree to share the financial responsibility in the event that something should come up on the client's end. Obviously if I need to cancel for any reason (very rare), then the loss is all mine. I NEVER surprise a client with a cancellation fee after the fact, tho. My cancellation policy is generally stated in my ads, on my website, and included in the body of my email request for a client to confirm our booking before I block it into my calendar and make the logistical arrangements. Thus every client CONSENTS to it when confirming a booking and has the opportunity to decline to confirm if he disagrees. I find that this approach makes having a cancellation policy a very smooth and conflict-free experience. I do not HAVE to demand a cancellation fee after someone cancels on me at the last minute; my clients already know when canceling that I have a cancellation policy, and generally mention their intention to send my cancellation fee at the same time that they inform me of the cancellation.

Is my cancellation policy "enforceable"? Absolutely not, in the same way that I don't have much legal recourse if a client shorts me $100 of my fee after a session. However, given that my clients consent to my policy when making a booking and are aware of it when they choose to cancel, if someone doesn't send me the fee as previously agreed then it lets me know pretty clearly just how much they respect my business. At least I don't have to play any guessing games about their intentions and can comfortably refuse to engage with them about any future appointments. At that point the breach of trust between the two of us is clear.

Since implementing a clearly-explained and client-consented cancellation policy (3-4 years ago), not only has my number of cancellations dropped dramatically, but the stress has gone out of the ones that do happen. Vast majority of my clients send my cancellation fee without any stress on my part, my touring finances are more stable, and the rare client who does not follow thru with my fee ends up on my permanent DO NOT SEE list. It's also improved my relationships with good clients who do have to cancel unexpectedly last minute because the whole exchange is consensual and respectful toward both of us... no reason for surprise or suspicion on either side of the equation.

Yeah, but it's one hell of a lot of fun. To compare. Coke which is very powerful releases 350 units of Dopamine. Sex causes a 100-250 release. Meth releases 1500 and it doesn't get reabsorbed like the others so you can enjoy it for a good 48 hours of constant bliss. Extreme energy, confidence, you lose weight so hello abs, and of coarse the well known sex effects which are other worldly.

I stopped doing it when the bad times started to outweigh the good times. Hell by the end it was a little fun at night followed up by mount Everest mother of recovery. Not to mention what it does to the rest of your life. Age and/or time will fix it eventually.

It is a nightmare of coarse. However, it does put me in awe of just how powerful it is. It's the perfect drug for many gay men and that's probably why will never see the end of it.
