  1. Perhaps one of the earliest trans female athletes was Dr. Renee Richards who was a women's doubles finalist at the 1977 US Open at age 43.  (I was a ballboy for a tournament which she entered in either 1977 or 1978 and we received specific training to ignore any comments about her sexuality when we were on the grounds.  She ended up not competing, so we didn't have any issues.)

Per her Wikipedia page, after her retirement she came to believe that her past as a man was an advantage.  "Having lived for the past 30 years, I know if I'd had surgery at the age of 22, and then at 24 went on the tour, no genetic woman in the world would have been able to come close to me. And so I've reconsidered my opinion."

  2. I don't know the rules at Penn; however, I'm aware that other universities can mandate a sabbatical when they see issues with quality of performance.

Another option is to change the responsibilities of the professor when the performance isn't meeting expectations after receiving tenure.

And most terms of tenure include a provision that the tenured cannot engage in conduct "reflecting poorly on the university."  (not sure of the correct terminology)  Most often that comes into play with sexual misconduct or criminal activities, but I am aware of it being used for public statements that damaged the reputation of the univerity.

Apparently the use of lubricants is significantly different between vaginal and anal sex. Anal has higher percentages not surprisingly. But then anuses tend to be tighter, except for those into being fisted. So I'm not certain how those trade-offs work but I know I insist on lubricants, being a bottom.

I think ultimately it depends on individual factors such as how vigorous the fucking is and how prolonged. Anything overused or subject to extreme conditions will fail in the end.

So that brings to question, has the FDA approved the use of any lubricants for anal activity?

Well now, the boy is back and this time he’s the giver, and does a decent job. But he just doesn’t look as hot. Could be the IU Hoosiers hat (alumni here) or the dark shaggy mop of hair - dunno. But his butt-munching skills are not bad and his partner is kinda hot.

I wonder where the Hoosiers hat came from (also alumni here).  I don't think he attend school in Bloomington.

  5. Watching Mikaela miss a gate out of her second event this evening, I immediately thought about the similarities with Dan Jansen's 1988 speed skating falls.  Mikaela was this year's favorite to win golds in both the Giant Slalom and the Slalom and fell out of both.  In 1988, Dan was favored to win both the 500 and 1000 meter races and fell in both.

Dan's sister had died earlier in the day of his 500 race, so it is thought that it was contributing factor.  After today's race, Shiffrin stated, "It makes me second guess like the last 15 years, everything I thought I knew about my own skiing and slalom and racing mentality.  Just processing a lot, for sure."

I hope she is able to gather herself and race in the remaining races on her schedule in Beijing.

  6. Having sat on the other side of the table as the Board Chair of a non-profit, I would have been embarrassed to have sent such a text message without further context.

As the CEO, you are accountable to your employees to speak up to the board when they are communicating misinformation.  I know there were times that I had misunderstood information I received in a committee meeting and repeated my interpretation at the Board Meeting and the CEO (or other executive) corrected me.  I appreciated getting the correct information.

I suspect other Board members would not be pleased to learn that this communication was sent, regardless of the cause for her sending it.

I was surprised that the NBC commentators were not in Beijing. They were in Connecticut!

My understanding is that only a limited number of press people are allowed by China to be on-site, and those that are, must have be quarantined and live in a bubble that restricts where they can be.  Since they had Andrea Joyce on site to do the interviews, I'm guessing that would have been NBC's limitation of staff.

  8. Looks like the mailing list won't help to get info for Bar X.

  9. @kaboom35 - After many years of anticipation, I finally was able to meet Dane in Sept 2020 while visiting Palm Springs and was able to spend time with him again when I visited last April.  (Hopefully our schedules will work to meet again soon.)

I'm confident you would not be disappointed in seeing him again.  He's one of those rare escorts that consistently provides great service.
