  1. And that is why we are only there one weekend each year....
  2. @ArVaGuy, thank you for coordinating our activities for today's brunch. It was a great event.
  3. Ryan Lochte!!!! I've set my DVR.
  4. His massage hours were 11:00 to 9:00. He typically scheduled things at the top of the hour with an hour between appointments so that he could run a little longer and not rush the client out the door before the next appointment arrived. It isn't that he didn't make exceptions, but if he already had a 3:00 on his schedule and someone wanted a two hour appointment at noon, he would not be able to see another client. He also knew that he needed a little break between clients and if he was seeing three clients in a row with less than 30 minutes between them, he wasn't at his best for them.
  5. I was once told by a masseur that had a similar fee structure that charged a discount for the second thirty minutes as he could still change the sheets on the table, grab a snack and water, and shower before the next client arrived at the top of the hour. However, when someone requested a two-hour appointment, he would loose a time slot for another one-hour appointment.
  6. I have felt three earthquakes. The first was while visiting my maternal grandparents in July 1973 in Palo Alto. I was sleeping in a sleeping bag, so while I felt in, my sisters that were in a bed were upset that they missed out. My second experience was in March 1987. I had just returned home from work (living in Indianapolis at the time) and was watching television when I heard a rumble before it felt like my chair suddenly had magic fingers. I remember my dog started barking before the rumble. If my memory was right, the epicenter was in Tennessee. What was interesting to me was the reaction of my friends continuing to talk about it for a week, even though there was no damage in Indianapolis. The last earthquake I experienced was while visiting my paternal grandmother in Southern California in the late 90s or early 2000s. My grandmother's house was a pre-fabricated home on a slab in the foothills of the mountain. She simply braced herself and remained still for about ten seconds after the rumbling stopped. She then said, "OK - I think it's done. I don't think we're going to ride the house down the mountain."
  7. I had something similar happen once, although not as extreme. It was a situation that there was a power outage from storms the previous night and power returned during my late morning massage appointment. As I was showering and dressing, the masseur checked his on-line appointment booked and apologized when he realized that he thought I was the client who made requests for photographs to be taken during the massage. (After he stated that he knew I wanted photos, I said that I had changed my mind.)
  8. Technically, not all of the exceptions allow the consumption of alcohol by someone under 21. For example, an individual aged 19 is not allowed to drink because they are reporting an alcohol related health issue to authorities. They simply are not prosecuted for it.
  9. I'm glad I learned about parallelograms instead of how to do taxes. It is really coming in handy during this parallelogram season.
  10. It will be good to see you in DC.
  11. I swing by Hush when I'm in town. Highly recommended.
  12. Yes, like that. It feels wonderful. I had a college roommate who would walk on our backs and it really got some of those knots out.
  13. Regardless of the industry, I've found that when someone truly enjoys what they do, the quality is naturally better.
  14. @Kevin Slater, the banker in me always appreciates your charts. Thank you for openly sharing your information.
  15. Saw them in Columbus on one of their visits in 2018. Pleasant guys and I love that one of them walked on my back. The rest of the massage was fine and I'd probably grade it as a B. That said, I've wanted to see them again, but I have been out of town on their return trips.
  16. I'm not sure what age I was, but it was my younger sister who told me. I think she had gotten up in the middle of the night to see if Santa had been there and end up watching our parents putting together the toys.
  17. Perhaps there is more to the story that he is not ready to share. Since there was surgery, his wife may have also suffered complications from the surgery and that may be too painful to share.
  18. Although I've never met the man, it is one and the same.
  19. He's simply told you he already knows you find him physically attractive, and he is confident in his physical appearance. He probably also gets those compliments from others, and may be expecting more from you. Next time you find yourself slipping into verbally commenting on his beautiful appearance, add a compliment on another aspect him you appreciate: "Wow, you really look wonderful in that swimsuit. If others only knew that your heart is even more beautiful like I do."
  20. Why did the cow return to the marijuana field? It was the pot calling the cattle back.
  21. I have hosted on a few occasions. I have hosted three different gentlemen for massages that I had never met before. Aside om them using the bathroom to freshen up, I've not left them alone. However, two other (overnight) guests I've not only met before but have spent significant time with them prior to inviting them into my home. In both cases, I was comfortable letting them have full run of my home. That said, of all of the companions I've met over the last ten years there has been one gentlemen that after a phone conversation my 'spidey senses' said stay away from and I need not meet him.
  22. I cannot envision this event without you there!
  23. Thanks for the update. Flight booked, room reserved, and looking forward to this trip.
  24. Maybe if they had ended the show at intermission, it would still be running.
