Yacht is a term that has evolved over time. In the 19th century they were sailing boats used for racing, usually by the rich. In the 20th century, with the internal combustion marine engine, yachts came to include powered cruisers, although some sailing yachts had power units added to them such as Canada’s famous Bluenose racing schooner. The America Cup is a race for the traditional sailing yachts. As are the races at England’s Cowes Harbour at the Isle of Wight. If you visit a traditional yacht club, you will see both versions, sail and motor. They come in all sizes, but I always considered a yacht to have sleeping accommodations in the form of staterooms, lounges, dining areas and kitchens and large deck areas, both covered and exposed. Day cruisers have some amenities like heads, kitchenettes, and some sleeping arrangements but in my estimation are not yachts. The former Education Secretary, Betty de Vos, had a real yacht. I think about the size of Queen Elizabeth’s Royal Yacht Britannia, before she had to give it up for the sake of economy.

Can you name a few in NY? I tried putting in Cade’s stats in the search criteria and came up with only 1 who didn’t look appealing at all. Also couldn’t find many with prices listed. I’m not surprised at all by the hike in fees. Lots of actors get paid peanuts for their first movies. But once they’re in a hit, their fees go up and once they win an Oscar, they demand millions. Why should it be any different for escorts? They’re in it for the money too. Once they hit the big time, they can charge what they want. Cade is one of the top escorts in RM, if not no. 1 currently. As has been pointed out, this is no longer his main income source. I would guess he will shortly drop escorting entirely, unless he chooses to retain a few old and wealthy clients if he has established some good ones who will indulge his every whim.

I had a condo one block east of Campus some years ago and on the longest day of the year the sun would set on the Village at 8;30 pm or so. The streets like Wolfe and Montcalm run east west so the sun set directly up the street from Ste Catherine. I have pictures of it in an album. I call them fire on Montcalm as the golden hue was amazing reflecting off the buildings. The mountain was to the west and didn’t block the sun as it settled on the western horizon. Also no high rises nearby to block it as well.

You got a good deal on the second venture. My brother spent a little more than that $35,000 on a honeymoon (a chartered yacht in the Caribbean) with his second wife and they ended up getting divorced. (She also got the house).

I admire him for his candour. Here in Canada all we seem to get is drip, drip, drip. Politicians of all stripes don’t want to level with their citizens. All that they will say is “just bear with us for the next month. We’ll get though this together.” Then they fly off for a vacation somewhere while the rest of us are hunkered down.

Article gives some more context to the fire. It appears that house was a popular gathering place for Satanists and a fairly anodyne group they appear to be in this situation. Camp was familiar with the previous owner and wanted to continue using the house for the fun times people had there. I would have gone to visit it had I been in the neighborhood and known of its existence. Who knew Poughkeepsie was so interesting!

One reason I have avoided massages during the pandemic is that my impression is most masseurs do multiple massages a day. Escorts on the other hand usually do not do multiple clients a day unless we’re talking about the high in demand ones who travel to major cities. During the summer when transmission was low I continued to see escorts but spaced my dates to no more than one a month. Now with cases rising I’m hunkered down again like in the spring.
