This proves that San Francisco is more expensive than the other four burroughs of NYC, my original point. Manhattan is the exception. If you averaged the cost of living per capita across the 5 burroughs of NYC, I wonder whether SF would not be more expensive.

NYC has 5 burroughs of which Manhattan has the highest cost of living. The poster said NYC, not Manhattan. Not all NYC escorts live in Manhattan.

Just a little turn off .. has any other provider felt?

I've arranged this as a client a number of times over the years and pay each escort their standard rate. If their rates are different by say $50 or so per hour, I put the money in separate envelopes with their names before the encounter. Never had a problem and some of these I have seen again with a different escort partner. Mix and match, I call it. -
I saw the London production of Hair in 1969 but I think it was a year old by then. It was pretty racy for the time, with full frontal nudity (albeit fleeting).

I am the first to admit that I am not on the leading edge of digital record keeping. I imagine large organizations that digitize their records will have a lasting record of their history as long as electronic records are viable. I do a lot of history research and of course the written record of centuries past is recorded on paper. Paper records are fragile too but if properly kept are readable centuries as and indeed millenia later. Will digital documents be as enduring? I don't know and of course we don't have the ability to see what they will look like even a hundred years from now. We only have acouple of decades of experience. Decades ago many historical written documents were microfilmed. We have these in our files but frankly they are hard to read, were often poorly done, and if there are parts that are illegible, you can't retrieve the info unless the original documents are still around. No-one is microfilming anymore. So if your own personal files are digitized, what happens to them after you are gone?

I never saw the episodes dealing with blackmail. Nor would it occur to me to ever resort to blackmail. Some secrets are best left being secret. Nothing to be gained stirring up old passions. But I know you were just joking.😅

It's actually more interesting than that. The Internet has provided the ability to track down people you knew many decades ago if they have become prominent in the intervening years. In one case my collection of letters I saved would be very compromising to the other party so I will have to burn them at some point.

Just the other day I was looking for some letters from the 1970's and only found them after going through 7 or 8 shoeboxes crammed with letters spanning 5 decades. In the last decade most of my saved correspondence is email. I know after I am gone my letter collection will be tossed but until then I can relive the past the occasional time by just opening a few letters. What makes my collection interesting is that I led a very international life and so letters from many different countries, especially European ones. I have the impression that the younger people today who just use these ephemeral means of communication will look back in 30 years on a great void in their lives. They will have nothing to remind themselves of what the details of their lives were nor who was a significant presence to them in the past. It is an important anchor that will have been cast aside.

I studied the history of the St John Lateran cathedral when I was at university. It's a beautiful church. Didn't know much about the palace but when I was in Rome years ago it wasn't open to the public. I have always had a soft spot for Rome and have recently gone through some letters I have from my Roman holiday over 40 years ago. I could write a book...

Actually I've been there and while it in no way resembles Tara, it demonstrates that a great book can arise from humble origins.

Whatever happened to the City of Brotherly Love? Sad. -
I made contact with Kevin and we have a date set up during his visit to Montreal in mid March. I will say his communication skills are excellent. So we will see.

I'm reviving this thread as the subject of it is now planning on visiting Montreal from his home base in Paris in mid-March. He goes by Monsieur_Hung on RM. He calls himself Kevin but in an old review was called Yuri. This thread started off about how expensive his rates are but then got into other providers and Covid issues. Has anyone here actually been with him? He has many positive reviews but a half dozen clients have written 4 or 5 each. I contacted him and his rates are $450 an hour in Cdn$, or $350US.

I've had a landline at my residences for over 50 years. Sometimes a couple when I had two residences simultaneously. I only got a smart phone 3 years ago and it has changed my ways of communicating but I have not dropped having a landline. I don't use caller ID and will answer the phone if it is convenient. Otherwise I have voicemail. The number of crank calls has declined markedly in the last several years which I credit the phone companies with cracking down under federal pressure in Canada. I am a member of several volunteer organizations so like to be able to call and receive calls from members and other parties using the services of the organizations I belong to. My cell phone has made communication even more efficient.

Me too. I usually only host two providers in a nice hotel for the evening and then one goes home while the other does an overnight. Sometimes I have kept the same two and alternated on two consecutive nights. I find hotels don't require the name of your guests when you are booking a room for two, which is a standard request.

Based on my own experience decades ago, admittedly when laws were more restrictive and gay marriage was not an option, I would still say, proceed with caution. Still, life only comes by once and if you don't follow your heart at times, you miss out on a lot, including heartbreak, of course.

I agree about the perceptions about what constitutes a 7 inch dick and the reality. It seems to be really "hung", one needs at least 8 inches. But in my experience, someone with a real 7 inches is hung enough for me. The disappointment comes in discovering that sizes have been inflated in advertising.

I corresponded with him several years ago when he was visiting Canada. That was before the pandemic and as far as I know he hasn't been back. I haven't been to NY since just before the pandemic struck either. But he remains on my radar.

I noticed some time ago that lonely_john had not posted or visited this site since he started this thread on Dec 11. Prior to that he was a frequent poster on many topics for one who had only joined the forum as a member just a year or so earlier. I wonder what has happened. He asked for no negatively in the responses offered and by and large members here gave him thoughtful responses imo. One reason I noticed him is that he is a fellow Canadian and there are relatively few of us on this forum, according to stats I have read here (less than 2 percent). I hope all is going well with him and perhaps it is and he no longer requires this sounding board to express himself. I remember I abscented myself from this site for a number of years and then came back as couple of years ago. Things sometimes go that way.

The article doesn't tell much or anything about how the appliance actually works. It's just a gushing promo featuring the end results of food cooked that way.

I don't consider the RM reviews useless per se but they have to be judged in the overall context. There are some reviewers I trust because they have given reviews of providers I have been with and were completely spot on. So I will trust them when commenting on someone new I may want to see. There are others who have given a positive review to providers for instance on their looks and were completely off base. I found the pics were misleading and would never hire the providers again because they were not as advertised. Also I tend to discount reviews by clients who are new to the game. They do not have the experience to provide meaningful comparisons. I sometimes get in touch with clients on RM to confirm their reviews. That has sometimes helped but the odd time hasn't. Anyway, despite all one's efforts, sometimes things just don't go as planned. C'est la vie.
-
Well because I am a premium client and I will be able to continue to post reviews as I have done over the years. So it doesn't affect me. But reading Tygerscent's comments, I think also it may cut out some of the phony reviews of providers which I have always suspected. There are a couple of said providers who rack up hundreds of uniformly positive reviews who I have been with and was less than satisfied. When I wrote the even mildly critical review they got the reviews deleted and blocked me.

Won't affect me.
