  1. I wouldn't get close to one. They look a lot like a house cat but definitely aren't gentle creatures. They deserve respect and keeping one's distance
  2. Well I read about it a few years ago. It didn't make a big splash.
  3. Yeah me too. But did you ever see the movie "Looking for Mr. Goodbar" with Diane Keaton?. It was from that era when we gays were all hooking up with cute guys we picked up at the gay bars. Her story, based on a real case, was a cautionary tale. I remember the theme song by Thelma Houston, "Don't treat me this way".
  4. Your story is perplexing. A debit card you haven't used for 18 months but you only use it for cash withdrawals. You must go for a long time without any cash. The op was talking about the use of credit cards, not debit cards.
  5. I'm a confirmed bottom but have always been attracted to a nice butt on a male. I like it meaty, firm and nicely shaped. Athletic jock type of ass.
  6. She died.
  7. I hire escorts a lot so know the market very well. Of course it's in Canada so local conditions may vary somewhat from the US, particularly smaller US cities. But not it's in the two largest cities, Montreal and Toronto, which have very large escort markets serviced by RM, similar to larger US cities lije Chicago, Boston, Miami, SanFrancisco. NyC is in a class of its own with hundreds of escorts. I know the going rates and what they will purchase. $300 is absolutely the benchmark these days. Some providers will shave off a few dollars and some add a few. Their services differ somewhat so you need to find those that will agree to what you like to do. It's really quite predictable and satisfying I find. Very few unpleasant surprises.
  8. What collapse in the dollar are you talking about. It has risen against most currencies in the last year, including the Cdn$. The British pound collapsed against the dollar two months ago with the new British PM, Liz Truss and also the euro went down. Inflation in Canada is bad and the increase in the cost of US imports is one reason. The Americans have it the other way. The strength of their dollar is hurting their exports but not causing imported inflation. Only very recently has the dollar started to lose strength against the pound and the euro. Not so much our dollar.
  9. I don't think RM is the problem. Like others they use my CC for payments (in my case monthly) Being doing so for years. My card has a chip. It offers greater security than the old type magnetic strips. Also here in Canada they always bring the terminal to the table so you never give up control of your card. I was amazed the last time I ate at a restaurant in NYC they wanted to take my card to the bar. I refused and paid cash instead.
  10. I pay $20 after having paid $15 for the last 12 years. My barber apologized for the increase but he had made some nice improvements to his shop during Covid.
  11. What a different world we live in now compared to when I was young. Picking up guys at bars was a way of life and filling in the time when you didn't have a steady boyfriend. Living in Canada and Europe during my youthful days, I never felt in much danger altho I did exercise judgment and wasn't into drugs. Interestingly the only time I picked up someone who turned into a scary experience at his place was in New York in the 1980's. That was on a visit. After I retired at 50 and was spending the winters in Miami most of the action was in the bars especially the Black Eagle in Ftl. What a place!
  12. You can still get someone decent below $300 but not by much in my opinion. I've hired at $250 to $275 with nice results. Mind you I prefer somewhat longer so often negotiate 2 hours for $400. And they haven't been clockwatchers in most cases.
  13. Might just prove timing is everything. 😀
  14. This reminds me of the bad old days in the 1980's when Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen were considered killing grounds for gays. On my visits to NYC in those days I always avoided them and stuck to the West Village. Today I don't visit gay bars at all. I stick to well reviewed escorts on RM and so far so good.
  15. I will leave personal insults and logical fallacies to you since you seem to specialize in them, which is widely commented on not just by myself.
  16. Looks great.
  17. You're not stating which month of which year you are starting with. Also what base figure, $250 or $275. Your 18 percent is base exactly on what? We are both using Oct 2022 as final month, I assume. I am.
  18. Using the calculator provided by Walt $275 in 2019 is now $318. So I was a little off in my calculation. Because the situation has been dynamic in the last 3 years, choosing the base month is important.
  19. That shows that $250 in Jan 2020 buys $288.80 in Oct 2022. Which is close to what I said previously. Not $350 as someone else posited.
  20. I was only counting the last 3 years since 2019. Since 2022 is not yet finished current tables showing the last 12 months include the last 3 months of 2021 when inflation was running up. Look back at 2020. and you will see several months of deflation. It all adds up. That's why I adjust my prices in April when I know the final tally for the previous year. And my business is seasonal with most sales occuring over the spring and summer through fall. If you look at 2021 monthly inflation rates, you will see that that was the year when inflation got out of control, rising from 1.4 percent in January on a steady trajectory to over 7 percent in December.
  21. Online. But it was just to confirm what I know. I run a business and I increase my list prices by the previous year's annual inflation rate each year. Being doing so since 2012 so I keep close track.
  22. Very sad. Not the first and even sadder not the last.
  23. You're too high. Inflation from 2019 to 2022 has been 11.39 percent cumulative or 3. 6 average annually. Inflation prepandemic was very low and in the first 6 months of the pandemic deflation. So $275 is about $303 now.
  24. This study hasn't been peer reviewed yet.
  25. His ad states he is 135 pounds. That sounds awfully petite.
