I really feel lucky in that I didn't have any really bad experiences. The "worst" was a second session with provider that I was really looking forward to that was just not fun and won't see again. A couple of providers that were disappointing. But that's it!
-
I've been very truthful and, I hope, fair about the good and not so good experiences I've had. If it's been great, I will say it was great and mean it. I think it's the over the top hyperbole that doesn't pass the sniff test for me.

I live in Boston for part of the year and, unfortunately, I find the pickings very slim. The couple of providers I've met with have been visiting.
-
That's a really good point. On here and on RM I've haven't felt like that was what the person asking was looking for but for sure this is an issue that can come up with these questions. We ALL know that YMMV and it has to do with the chemistry between you and the provider as much as it has to do with what they specifically provided.

I've only been emailed a couple of times on RMass asking about a provider I reviewed (I've only reviewed 3) and it didn't bother me. I totally understand where the other posters are coming from but I'm with you @BeefyDude in that I would really like to know if the provider is going to be a fit (so to speak 😉) or not. I think the more specific and detailed you can make your question and why it's important to you, the better. I think that comes off as a sincere question vs. fishing or other purposes. Side note, the thing I've found odd on RMass is that after finally having made a few reviews I've gotten a ton of what I assume are clients checking out my profile. Not much to see there, folks! 😆

Just had another session (#3) with him and it was SOOOOO good! He's got such a hot bod and is so sweet. DEFINITELY recommend him. DM me if you have any questions.
-
I also associate it with masculinity (at least by appearance). I'm into all the "secondary male sex characteristics": muscle, body hair, facial hair
-
There are definitely men that are more attractive without a beard, but as a "pogonophile", it's rare that I don't find a man more attractive with a beard than without. But that's me! Totally agree with @Elite_XL, though. A bushy mess is a turn off. A well trimmed, well maintained beard is hot (again, to me).

It's really all about taste. For me, I have ALWAYS loved facial hair. One of the catalogs we got when I was an early gayling (MontgomeryWard?) was the only one that had male models with facial hair and I made much use of it. Beards, as long as they are not ZZ Top length, are hot. Goatee? Excellent. Van Dyke? YES!. Biker handlebar mustache? Let me have a seat. It's all good to me. I was THRILLED when (and when was that? 10-15 years ago?) beards started making a big come back. But I can certainly see how the beard trend would be a bummer for folks who don't like them. It seems perfectly reasonable to ask what sort of facial hair a provider is sporting. I don't think it's reasonable to expect them to remove it, unless they're willing to do it (and likely for an increased fee).

When do you get aroused during a massage?
TMB replied to whatsinaname's topic in Questions About Hiring
For some providers I'm aroused on arrival, especially those I've met with before. I am reminded of how hot I find them and I am excited about what's to come. I'm usually aroused throughout but the extent of arousal will ebb and flow around what they are doing. As @big-n-tall says, when they're doing deep work, less. When they're running their hands over my ass, rubbing my neck, making deep moaning or grunting sounds (Ahhhh, Turcoman 🥰) that definitely gets me going. I also find if they are hard it makes me hard. -
I've had a handful of not great first encounters but only 1 bad second second encounter. When it's been good the first time, so far (n= 4) it's been at least as good or better the second. I'm usually more comfortable and they know what buttons to push on me.

Recommendation for masseur/escort in San Fran with nice butt
TMB replied to Larsnewpaul's topic in Spas & Masseurs
RE: ErosFlow: I've seen him twice, seeing him again in a couple of days. He is very hot, very handsome and gives a great massage +. Definitely recommend -
I'm in Palm Springs until late April and, assuming I have no visitors, I would love to come to some of the events.

I'm in the same situation as @jeezifonly and @SportBud7 in that I like 30/40 something, muscular (fairly to very), hairy (fairly to very) men. Facial hair of any kind is always a big plus. Wandering around my gym it seems like that should be pretty easy to find but this kind of guy doesn't show up as much on RM or Rentmasseur. So, for me, maybe 10-15% of men hit the mark.

Is anyone else noticing a drop in escort pricing?
TMB replied to BigK's topic in Questions About Hiring
I have to chime in because this 100% my situation. I think men in the mid-thirties to mid-forties are generally the most attractive AND those that are providers tend to be very good providers, given their long experience. My two regulars are both in their late 30s/early 40s But on this specific topic, I haven't noticed any reduction in rates for Palm Springs or Boston/Provincetown. But these are resort areas and tend to have people who are on vacation and willing to splurge. -
Not cute enough. No one would be for that drama.
-
Thanks for that story @Simon Suraci. Wow, even more drama than I had! I don't know what the problem is, but I no longer care. Did what I could, probably spent more cycles on it than I needed to but it's clear that nothing I could do or say would get him to let it go. So I'm done and I'm fine with that.
-
Yup. Wished him well. Blocked him everywhere.
-
As you can see from my post earlier, it's done. He just can't seem to let it go, which is really too bad. He's a really sweet guy with a hot, muscular bod. I will miss him but def not this drama

Hey all. Just a (hopefully) quick update to "As the Provider Turns". I was planning to meet up with him on Monday but this morning I found a text from him overnight saying it was bothering him so much that he was not able to sleep. We texted for a bit but it was clear that he was just never going to let it go. Claims it's not that he caught feelings. To me, it appears he's taking my lack of paying him the same rate as the other guy as a testament to his worth or something. It was clear nothing I could do or say would move him off it so I just said this behavior is making impossible for me to feel comfortable with him again, so we're done. Thanks again to all for your feedback and advice. Clearly, the solution was to tell him to take a hike after offering to pay him more wasn't enough to get him to let it go. Losing a regular client over $40/hr. Maybe he should find another gig.
-
Thank you! This is a great take with a lot to think about. I, myself, want my frustration/disappointment, etc to be acknowledged before I move into problem solving with the other party and that's something I didn't really think about in this case. Where I've left things is that we're going to meet up in a week and I've asked him to think about what it is he needs to tell me and what would make him feel better and to tell me that when we meet. Totally agree that I'm not going to get wrapped up in emotional situation. That's not what I'm in this for. I am sorry he feels bad but I really don't feel guilty about it. I thinking this either comes down to an expectation mismatch (which can be fixable) or a "caught feelings" situation (which is not).
-
This is a really good point. I did not negotiate the price and he offered the rate I paid without indicating it was a discount. If we had negotiated it then I would totally understand his disappointment. Looking over our correspondence I see then when I re-engaged 4 months ago with him, after a couple of months had passed since seeing him, he sent a image of his rates but I didn't pay attention. It did indicate the higher rate so that's definitely on me. It's still just weird that gladly offering to pay more didn't seem to resolve it. Anyway, we'll see what happens. Thanks for your feedback.

Question To Providers & Clients About Companionship
TMB replied to Elite_XL's topic in Questions About Hiring
Overall, I'm in agreement with @mike carey but I also see @purplekow's point. As a client, my view is that the provider is the ultimate decision maker about what time he will provide, for what and at what cost and I have NO problem with that. I would not expect any time spent with them to be free for any reason. Even if a provider requested meeting up before a session or going for dinner after, I would expect to pay for his time as well. If the provider makes it clear it's off the clock, then great. But in this case, to be honest, I'd be a little worried about a catching feelings situation, one of the "blurred lines" I think people have referred to previously and I would want to clarify where he's at on this. If it's just friendship then that would be great! I see @purplekow's point, though, that at certain rates, even if both would like to spend more time together, it's just not realistic for the client. But, again, my view is that it's on the provider to decide to offer a lower rate, etc. I think for me, I just feel uncomfortable haggling over the price of access to someone's time or body. I take at face value and respect whatever rate a provider offers. If it's too much for me, I move on. -
I hadn't really thought about the emotional aspect of this but given your and others responses, maybe that's what's going on. As I said above, it would really be too bad if that's the case as I am not romantically available so if that's what he needs, I can't give it to him.

Thanks very much, Jamie21. I appreciate the perspective. I really like the idea of the Brotherhood of Providers watching out for and helping one another.
