The key to arriving to Montreal by air on an international flight is to get in during the morning...before the flights from Europe start arriving. Immigration becomes crazy from 12:30 pm till about 6:00pm. I usually take the first flight from Detroit and get into Montreal at 11:30am. Straight through immigration and out the door.

I'm 65 and I consider Grindr a complete waste of time...yet I can't delete it...LOL. From a young person's perspective, I totally get that the vast majority of them have zero interest in anyone over 40/50. I was exactly the same when in my 20's/30's...so I hold no hostility towards them at all. Yes there are exceptions...but they are rare. Back to the main topic. I'm currently in Toronto and I find the incidence in ads on Grindr is substantially higher than when I'm in the US. Every time I go to Grindr, I have to go through games/ads. Its absurd. Still not worth paying for it since it's mostly useless for me.

I visited Cockbar on Sunday night this past weekend. Cover was $5. The bar was not particularly crowded, so they only used the front larger room. The second smaller room was not used at all as far as I could tell. There were only four dancers working...two Latinos and two white guys. The two Latinos were in good shape but one of the white guys had a belly. All the dancers but one were pretty fem which is a complete turn-off for me. I would not describe any of the four as really hot. I had no motivation to do lapdances with any of them so all my money stayed in my pocket. The bartender was very friendly and I enjoyed talking with him. He got a big fat tip. I woudn't pass final judgement on Cockbar until I could visit on a Friday/Saturday. However, I would consider my Sunday visit a bust.

The name alone is enough to put me off from hiring him.

Well the Dow loved today’s inflation report by soaring 654 points. So yes…the crowd did go wild.

Yet another positive inflation report came out today. The market is cheering the news. Whilst the 2% inflation target hasn’t been hit yet, it is getting closer. I now expect rate cuts before the end of the year…maybe in September. I liked Lou when he was strictly a business reporter. Then he went nuts and destroyed what could have been a great legacy.

Why does everything need to be served spicy now?
EZEtoGRU replied to EZEtoGRU's topic in What's Cooking
...and now Burger King is getting in on the spicey offerings. Their new Fiery Menu was launched this month. The menu includes a hot Whopper, hot fries, and (believe it or not) a spicey strawberry Sprite drink. Yuck!!! At least you know in advance what you're getting as the items are advertised as being spicey. Can You Handle The Heat? Burger King® Introduces All-New Fiery Menu NEWS.BK.COM -
Interesting read from NBC article. Former prosecutor on the case agrees with dismissal. When the prosecutor agrees with the dismissal there really isn't much else to say. Justice was served in this case. Onto the next. Prosecutor who resigned from Alec Baldwin 'Rust' case says she wanted dismissal WWW.YAHOO.COM A special prosecutor who resigned from the manslaughter case against Alec Baldwin on Friday said she did so because she felt it should have been voluntarily dismissed by the...

He was always excellent on SNL as well. A well-rounded talented guy.

Hint: It was a politically-motivated witch-hunt against Baldwin.

TBH, I didn't follow the trial closely. I was aware that the death had occurred on the set of a Baldwin movie and that an amorer was part of the crew. In my mind, the fault here lies largely with the armorer. Her responsibility presumably is to ensure any gun scenes look realistic and that they are conducted safely. Most importantly, she should be sure no live ammunition is on the set. If she had done her job correctly, whether or not the gun trigger was pulled would be irrelevant. From the start, it seemed to be a pretty simple case to me that ended up being tainted by political motivations. Hannah Guttierez was found guilty previously and that is the right outcome in my view. I do hope additional safeguards are put into place so that a completely unnecessary death like this can be avoided in the future.

Judge dismisses Alec Baldwin's 'Rust' case after defense claims evidence was withheld WWW.YAHOO.COM In a stunning turn of events, a New Mexico judge dismissed Alec Baldwin's "Rust" case Friday, on day three of his manslaughter trial. The judge granted the defense's motion...

Some people just hate it when there is positive economic news showing the country is going in the right direction. They just want doom and gloom. Who knows what their motivations are for feeling this way. Fast food restaurants are falling over each other to offer new lower-priced items on their "value menu". Retailers are offering great new deals to get people back into stores. I know...it's just horrible 😂😂😂!

Another positive inflation report was released today continuing the downward trend. Great news! reuters.com WWW.REUTERS.COM

The shower side stage has been there for years. It didn’t get much use during the pandemic but pre-Covid it was used a lot on weekends. The duo shower shows by Thierry & JP was the stuff of legend.

LOL. Someone with an extreme political agenda needs to crawl back under that rock from which he came. He appears every few months to admonish other posters and then disappears for a while.

I was in Ft. Lauderdale for four days last week and it was mostly a waste of a trip due to the weather/rain. I spent most days in my hotel. The beach was empty except for Thursday when there was some sun. The worst day was on Wednesday when the rain never stopped for the entire day which caused serious flooding in several areas. Even Wilton Manors was empty at night. I did go to Johnson's that evening and I was literally the only customer. No dancers. They closed down around 9:30pm. I don't think I'll go back until November as summer trips to Florida seem to be too risky as far as weather goes. Just my two cents.

Is Florida real estate bubble about to burst?
EZEtoGRU replied to marylander1940's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
I’m actually in FLL now on a plane leaving shortly for Michigan. The weather in Lauderdale was a mess and totally screwed my trip. Florida definitely is not the place to be anymore. I can’t imagine investing in this state anymore. Seems like a fools errand. -
May inflation came in lower than expected...so trending in the right direction. This news coupled with multiple retailers dropping prices and gasoline prices plummeting (I paid $3.19 last week in Michigan) all suggest things are going well economically. I still don't see the Fed dropping interest rates imminently...maybe later in the year. US inflation cooled in May in a sign that price pressures may be easing APNEWS.COM Inflation in the United States eased in May for a second straight month, a hopeful sign that an acceleration of prices that occurred early this year may have passed.

At least two of the dancers at Johnson's FTL have had their dicks filled with something. One of the guys is from Argentina and the other from Italy.

Yea. Well she probably has a divorce to announce. Maybe that will come tomorrow. Check out this variety article regarding the tour cancellation. Well it seems that many of the potential restrictions a convicted felon could face can vary widely dependent on the state where the conviction took place and also the type of crime that was committed. For instance, firearm restrictions likely apply for a felon convicted of a violent crime…but maybe not for a felon convicted of say a financial crime. Thanks to those of you that contributed constructively to this thread and stayed on topic.
