  1. I've always been attracted to uber-masculine alpha-type males. It usually (but not exclusively) means they are str8 if I find them attractive. Twice in gay bars, I was propositioned by gay4pay ex-cons who had just been released. Once was in a dive stripper bar in the late 80's/early 90's near the NYC Port Authority (not Stella's or Cats.....much more sleazy than those). He was one of the strippers and he told me he had just been released from prison that morning or the day before. At the time, I remember thinking that I thought it was not a good strategy for him to tell potential clients that he just got out of prison. He was not that hot looking....so I declined. The second one was in a hustler/drag bar in Houston called Cousins (now has a different name). It was around 2008 and a very attractive/muscled Louisianan in his late 20's approach me and asked if wanted to have fun. He added that he had just been released from the penitentiary that week. He was definitely hot looking but I chickened out. I kept thinking about those stories you hear of ex-cons killing someone within 1-2 weeks of getting released from prison. There's tons of latino day labor guys in Houston hanging out at all the Home Depots as well as other locations. Lot's of opportunity there but always with the associated risk as well. It helps a lot if you speak some Spanish.
  2. Thanks for that. I just asked my 89-year old mom if she heard of the drink. She said she did but didn't know what was in it and had never had one.
  3. My mom has seen four of the best picture nominees: Billboards, Post, Darkest, Shape. Her favorite was Darkest Hour. A lot of the buzz is around The Shape of Water....which I have seen. Whilst I enjoyed it, it did not seem like Best Picture material to me. Mind you, I felt exactly the same about American Beauty.
  4. I live in MI where apparently the Moscow Mule is the most popular cocktail. Two data points: 1. I've never heard of a Moscow Mule. 2. I've never heard anyone order a Moscow Mule in a bar in MI.
  5. I think Mr Seed only danced at Stock very briefly. I never saw him there in person and never seem him on the live feed which I watch frequently.
  6. Like you, I have no problem with a club offering a mixture of guys to appeal to all tastes. That is fine if it is a true mix. To me, SR's had a very unbalanced line-up. If out of 30 strippers, only two or three were kind of attractive to me, that's a problem. There were some twinks....but the majority of the dancers seemed to just be of average attractiveness and body shape. Just your run-of-the-mill average looking guy who has suddenly become a stripper. Sure they have youth going for them....but as far as being attractive....not really. Half of the strippers you wouldn't give a second look at on the street. How they manage to get a job at a strip club is beyond me. Anyway, give it a shot. You might like it.
  7. I visited Twist on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. I prefer Twist on weeknights as the club is too packed for my taste on weekend nights. There were 12-14 dancers of which about 5 were solid hunks/studs. A much higher ratio of hunks than when I was at SR's in Atlanta a few days earlier. As is usual, the dancers are primarily Latino (Cuban, Venezuelan, Peruvian, and Brazilian) with a smattering of Europeans (three Italians and one French). It helps a lot if you can speak some Spanish as many of the dancers have limited English. Yes the smoking inside is very annoying. Yes the music is far too loud. Yes it is a tiny space within the larger Twist complex. In spite of all that, I had a far better time at Twist on Tuesday and Wednesday than I did at Richard's the prior Friday. The 5 Twist hunks were easily hotter than any of the strippers that were at Richards on Friday night. In fact, I told two of them to hot-foot it to Atlanta and start working at Richards. They would make a killing.
  8. I just wrapped up another Atlanta/Miami trip combo. I was in Atlanta on Friday through Monday. Went to Swinging Richards on Friday night and was, once again, very disappointed with the line-up. Plenty of dancers but very little to hold my interest. There were maybe 30 guys there. I'm into masculine muscular macho alpha male types. Only 2 or 3 of the guys kind of fit that description.....but not fully. The rest were just a mix of twinks/fems, or just average looking guys who you might not even give a second look at if you saw them in a pick-up bar. The best word to describe the line-up last Friday at Richard's is mediocre. I was so disappointed that I did not bother returning on Saturday as I had initially planned to do. This is now my second consecutive disappointing visit to SR's. I'll give them one more chance in a few months. The lineup at Twist in Miami, on the other hand, was solid. I'll report those details in the Twist thread.
  9. Pic #3 resembles a pic JJ Forte used years ago. I'm calling this guy a fake.....or at least a partial fake.
  10. I'm thrilled for the Eagles. I didn't have a horse in the race.....but I always root for the underdog. I'm sure Brady wishes he retired last year when he was on top.
  11. Mark Salling dead of a likely suicide. https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/celebrity/‘glee’-alum-mark-salling-dead-from-apparent-suicide-at-35/ar-BBItY7c?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartanntp
  12. I had the very same thoughts.....or something along those lines.

    travel cash

Your second quote is not mine directly. It must have been a quote I responded to or he responded to mine. In any case, nothing in that quote disagrees with anything I said. TSA has no jurisdiction over one's cash carry out of the country. They are tasked with looking for explosives or something that could cause an incident on the flight. One is free to carry under US$10,000 in or out of the country without the need to declare it.

    travel cash

Curious as to why TSA agents would raise any issues about the amount of cash you carry? They have no jurisdiction over one's transportation of cash out of the country. The only exception I make on traveling with more US$ is when I go to Montreal. I usually go with about US$5k in cash. Never been questioned about it. TSA is never looking for cash if going through my bag. I go to Montreal anywhere from 5-15 times a year and my cash carry has never drawn attention.

Rely on your ATM card for most of your cash needs. Make sure you advise your card's issuing bank that you will be traveling....and where to. Also review your ATM settings to be sure you are comfortable with daily maximum withdrawal amount. I've lived (off and on) and traveled throughout South America for over 30 years. You need nothing more than an active ATM card. Safe travels!
  16. I'd go with Sao Paulo (much less Carnaval tourism than in Rio) 0r Barcelona. Both have an ample supply of rent talent and muscle is available.
  17. I agree azdr. I really hope it was a one-off weak night. I'll give them another chance in a few months.
  18. I was at Swinging Richards on Thursday night during a very short visit to Atlanta. I thought the line-up of dancers was very weak in comparison to my last few visits there. The hottest dancer was so stoned, he could hardly stay standing on the stage. When he finished his show, he fell asleep (passed out) on one of the sofas in the VIP area and that was the end of him. I don't know if the line-up I saw on Thursday is representative of SR's talent now. If it is, I would say they have really declined in the last year. One dancer was actually seriously overweight (although, admittedly, he did have a huge penis). Pretty disappointing night there. I tipped a few guys on-stage and that was the extent of my "fun" even though I came to the club with a wallet full of cash that I was intending to spend.
  19. I went to Twist one night last week. Solid line-up of hunky dancers. Mostly latino (Cubans & Venezuelans) with a smattering of Europeans (mostly Italian). Good fun. Music too loud though. Very difficult to talk with the dancers. Overall, a fun night.
  20. Interesting article from Bloomberg discussing how the building of high-rise condos is reducing the number of stripclubs in the city. Remingtons is mentioned as are several female strip clubs. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-12-12/it-s-closing-time-for-toronto-s-strip-clubs
  21. Ding Ding Ding. Right answer. If he lies about his age, what else does he lie about?
  22. He speaks: https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5a1ec499e4b0d724fed54c8f?ncid=inblnkushpmg00000009 At least he takes some ownership of his situation (unlike Trump, Conyers, and Moore). Of course his partial owning up changes nothing about how awful his actions are. His career is destroyed, his marriage likely finished, and he could face difficult relationships with his children. Not to mention the potential legal cases he will likely face. He deserves all of it.
  23. Well I guess Mrs. Lauer is soon to have a big payday. Good for her.
  24. +1 I never liked him and I am not the least bit surprised. Glad he is gone. I hope NBC bring back Ann Curry now!!
  25. I’ve used Grindr and Scruff for about two years. Neither app really works for me...I believe mostly due to the sort of guy I’m attracted to. Anyway, fast-forward to to now. I’m currently in Barcelona. Grindr has some listings that are likely for escorts. However, Scruff is full of them. The interesting thing is that Scruff has a category titled “I am open to”. There is an option that one can put in that states “Networking”. I think this is often (although not always) code for “I am available for a price”. Quite ingenious of Scruff to offer this as one of the options.
