I’ve been seeing Joe regularly for a few months now. He is very punctual, polite and overall a really nice guy. I’ve seen my share of guys on RM all around the world and he is by far the easiest to work with. He reached out to me initially, and he has messaged me without fault a couple weeks after each meeting to ask when we’re meeting again. It’s a nice inversion of the typical relationship. I’ve only done hour sessions and they’ve always felt generous and unhurried. Every session is different in an exciting and joyful way. He looks better in person than he does in pictures. It is hard to overstate how great it feels to be with him. He is a machine and clearly treats this as a serious craft.

I've hired him twice recently and both were great experiences. Best I've had in years and I hire quite often. He has a beautiful face and body.  He's sweet and gentle. I find him really easy to communicate with. I don't think I've posted on here in years,  but I just wanted to throw my two cents in the mix. This guy is terrific. The details in his RM profile are accurate. His face is blurred in the photos, but believe me, he's quite handsome. I've seen him a few times and I intend to see him again. He is friendly, empathetic, totally fit, and a lot of fun.

I faced a similar situation, returning to an active sex life after a long dormant period. I talked to my doctor, and he started me on PrEP and Doxy PEP, and I get tested every three months. I joke that I may be the oldest person in SF to have started PrEP and Doxy PEP. (I'm twice my doctor's age.) I have sex with providers only, and one of the reasons is that I know that they have to take care of their health. My regular provider and I have actually never felt the need to talk about this. I know that he's responsible for his health, and he knows that I'm responsible for mine. We have really great BB sex. Of course, if I wanted to use a condom, or if I wanted him to use a condom, that wouldn't be a problem.
Also, 
I laughed at this. At my age, adding one more daily pill was not a burden.

And being in the shower together makes water sports easier to try 😈 💦

He's very sweet, very handsome and does a good massage.
But ....
He's a bit of a "broken toy" emotionally. He shared some broken heart stories..and seems to have some serious issues about sexuality. I had the same experience as others where the gatekeeping about sexual lines in the sand felt like a minefield that I was sorry I had stepped into.
I don't expect a provider to go further than a hand job for an erotic massage....and since he seemed like a sweet guy with a little baggage..I figured I'd tip him well and see where things go on a second meet.
Normally when I book a second massage with a provider there's a more relaxed environment and an eagerness to please.  In this case it was the opposite. He was even more remote, robotic and just plain weird. Made me feel like a dirty old man for asking him about his thoughts on escorting.

You're correct. I don't know that they're taking care of their health, and I'm protecting myself in case they don't. I think it may be more likely that they're doing that than someone I might meet at a bar, because it's in their professional best interest to do so, but I'm not counting on it.
