  1. I've been interested in Luis (link above in TheBigO's post) for a while. Anyone have first hand knowledge of his massage service and any possible extras? Can pm me if you prefer. Thanks!
  2. Wow, just disregard my Boardwalk wristband info about 6 posts up. When I went in Dec. it was $20 to the club for each trip to the lap dance area. In March, it was $20 for the wristband that provided endless trips to the curtained area. This past weekend it was, get this.... $35 for the 1st trip back and $10 for each time after that! (Though if someone were to do 3 or more dances, this rate beats the Dec. rate.) Still... 3 different rates in the last 4 months. I have to say, Victor is really ruining profits for the dancers and fun for the customers. The fancy carpet runner in front of the bar and the cocktail tables & chairs in front of the stage are obviously very weak attempts to compete with Johnsons' much nicer environment. I still drop in to see a couple of the guys I like & to check out any new talent, but most of my time this trip was spent at Johnsons. And yeah, most of my money was spent at Johnsons.
  3. Pauleiro, I thank you too. Headed to FtL tonight for a weekend of rest & fun. Hopefully more fun than rest. I appreciate your notes & will be checking out your recommendations!
  4. Last month at Boardwalk, it was $20 for a wrist band on Fri. & Sat., $10 on Sun. (the only nights I stopped in) for entry to the lap dance area. With the wrist band, I only tipped dancers for their time. The cubicles are curtained, and there are 2 larger curtained spaces in the back. I think there was a higher charge for the larger spaces, but I always chat very pleasantly with the attendant in back & 3 or 4 times he said, "For you, you can go into one of those back ones if you want." I don't do lap dances at LeBoy. I've tried in the past (drinking rum muddles my better judgement), but the space & seats are too narrow for any comfortable fun and as others have mentioned, the pricing is ridiculous. Johnsons definitely has the best deal. $10 for a wrist band that allows unlimited trips to the lap dance area. Privacy curtains allow for as much fun as the dancer is willing to provide. Heading down this weekend for another round of making the rounds.....
  5. Jeez...why wouldn't the driver just walk to the door to see if anyone's home, then walk back to get the package? That's exactly what the UPS delivery man did for me yesterday. I was waiting for a 65" TV coming from Amazon. The truck pulled up & the driver came to my door. Said he just wanted to make sure someone was home & that he had the right door (I live in a condo). He then went back, got the TV from the truck, & carried it to me, setting it just inside my door. Happy customer here.
  6. Well....maybe you shouldn't be licking his link...
  7. I've never had to fake it, so I'll just stick with the real thing.
  8. Very interested in a solo cruise. Have never taken a cruise before, so would love recommendations from those of you who have (for cruise lines, ports, and solo travel tips). I'd be leaving from FL if that helps with suggestions. Thanks in advance!
  9. Sorry, off on a short tangent here. Bear0fdistinction, you should try www.ulele.com/ It's owned by the Columbia Restaurant group. One of my favorites in Tampa & it's right on the Riverwalk, which is great for a stroll after dinner.
  10. The first escort I ever hired in Tampa was very uncomfortable when he arrived in my hotel room and kept asking for reassurance that I wasn't a cop. He eventually explained that he had been previously arrested. Ahhhh, going there on Valentine's Day with my best friend. She's been there before, I haven't. A coworker told me the other day that the paella is excellent.
  11. Sure, I've contacted guys who have left reviews on RentMen to ask general as well as specific questions about their encounters. Just click on the reviewer's username & it will take you to his profile page with a "Contact Me" tab. That will give you a link to email him.
  12. Well, not if it had its own support animal along......
  13. I used to have a T-shirt that read: "Carpal tunnel syndrome ruined my sex life" And I believe it would have!
  14. Speaking of Ricky Martin (he plays Versace's lover at the time of the murder), when he was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show promoting the miniseries, he said, "I show my tush for the first time on television." I was planning to watch already, even more intrigued now.
  15. They've stopped the regular Sunday nights at Skin. The ad posted above by RandyC is the next event. Apparently they are going back to just holiday weekend special events. The club has changed, too, from Skin to Players Club.
  16. Nope. I gave up my VCR, my Walkman, my turntable, the ipod; was the last of my family & friends to get a computer & a cell phone. BUT I will not give up books. A good book is a drug to me, an addiction, a door to another world. I've been passionate about books since I was first able to hold one on my own. Hardbacks are still my preference. One of my favorite childhood memories was my mom taking me to the public library on our way to my brothers' baseball games so I could sit in the stands and read till the games were over. Sharing the joy of books with children is a simple pleasure, pausing before turning the page, building anticipation... I love seeing kids with books in their hands. Lying on the beach reading a hardback can be awkward, uncomfortable at times, but I won't give it up till I physically have to. Bookstores & libraries....I hope at least a few outlast me.
  17. Avalon, the various timelines in the stories may have confused you. The triplets were all fine right up until birth, when Kyle didn't survive so he couldn't have been "absorbed". The parents had no idea there was any problem up until that time. As for Randall's name, he was originally given the name Kyle but Rebecca had trouble bonding with him. She went to see his birth father, William, and discussed this with him. He suggested they give the baby his own name rather than the name intended for the third triplet. Rebecca asked William the name of his favorite poet, and Randall was the poet's last name. That's where his name came from. Not several years later, probably just a few days.
  18. Gadfly22, I think purplekow was commenting on the group here in general, not himself. His further statements made me think he's more like Karen Mackenzie from this Knots Landing scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lL78-XN-Oxo This speech has stuck with me all these years. I feel that way myself today more than ever.
  19. I spent six summers, from college to post grad working at an Easter Seals camp for the physically disabled. None of the boys or young men with cerebral palsy used catheters. If they were in wheelchairs we used hand held urinals. Only the guys with spina bifida used catheters, if they had total paralysis from the lower back down, and they didn’t wear the catheters, they/we inserted them a few times a day & drained the bladder. Sorry for the slight tangent from the original question but the subject took me back almost 40 years. Haven’t thought about those times in a while.
  20. Already planning to steal Karen's line from tonight's promo. Something like, "Sorry I'm late, but I got here as soon as I wanted."
  21. That would be much appreciated. I'm heading down next weekend & will definitely be checking it out. I like to know as much about a club beforehand as possible. Thanks to everyone who has previously posted here about their experiences at Johnsons.
  22. I know them as Alejandro & Patrick, seasonal dancers at Boardwalk. They told me they were cousins from Argentina, so I’m not sure where the Italian came from. They are fluent in Spanish, but maybe in Italian also. Both have a solo studio scene on the Stock Bar site. Patrick was Patrick, but Alejandro used a different name which I don’t recall. (I do however recall the end of his scene as he said, “I feeneesh, I feeneesh, I feeneesh!” One more thing, in one photo in the massage ad you see a brand name on the underwear. That's Alejandro's own line & if you google, you'll find more photos, even a youtube video of an underwear fashion show.
  23. Lindsay Wagner. From the first time I saw her in The Paper Chase to her role as Jaime Sommers to her various movies of the week. I still get excited when she shows up on the screen in some repeat or something new.
  24. I was there every Sunday in June, and will probably go for a bit tonight. The guys come on stage for 2 songs: 1st in clothes or just underwear and then completely nude for the second. Jake also posted about it here https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/sunday-nights-in-tampa.125522/
  25. Last I heard, Blake was performing drag (can't remember the name). Adrian was pursuing his career as a professional photographer in California.
