I drove by a couple of weeks ago & the Cristoph's sign was down. That's all I could see from a quick pass. As I remembered from my visits there when it was called 2606, there is very limited parking, which I can see being a problem. Thinking back to those days, I did have some fun lap dances behind the curtain with some very hot dancers. 😜

That reminded me, some schools I worked in used to have a room full of file cabinets with the students' cumulative records. The files were called "cumes" (that's how it was pronounced), but the abbreviation for cumulative was always cum. Therefore for years our campus maps would have rooms in the office labeled: Principal, Guidance, Mailboxes, Cum Room.... 😦

I'm not petrified, but I wear a seatbelt every time I'm in the car, I lock my doors whether I'm in the house or out, I change the batteries in my smoke detector. Why wouldn't I get vaccinated to hopefully prevent a nasty illness? I get my flu shot, I've had tetanus shots, I plan to get the shingles vaccine soon, had my Covid vaccine & booster. I do these things as precautions. (Note: My father died from injuries in an apartment fire. I'm not petrified, but I do have smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher, because I want to be prepared.)

I thought from the title this thread is about things we're tired of. I'm tired of drivers who move to the far left lane on the highway and then go the speed limit right next to someone in the middle lane who's going the speed limit. That's true, but when that $300+ gets me 1-2 nights in a hotel, or a plane ticket, or 2-3 restaurant meals, or several outfits at the mall, etc. vs. 1 hour with an escort, then I tend to prioritize.
