I find that they will often ask you what you are looking for and start the conversation that way. Don't be afraid to use a translator if your Portugese/Espanol isn't the best. When I arrive I usually just grab a drink and sit at a table myself and see who is there already as they pass by or come to meet me. I understand totally how you are feeling. I am in your same age group and my viewpoint will be unlike others I'm sure. I'm not going to tell you at 60 years old to start eating better, hitting the gym, etc.. to me that sounds shallow and that the issue is your body just isn't that "hot" enough for someone to appreciate your business as a client. We're old, mature, wrinkled, etc... and that's just the way it is... I stay fit to be healthy and not to impress a provider. Those days are over and I acknowledge it. I'd encourage you to adjust your expectations when you hire and accept that you're 60 and now in the more mature "client" age group. I ask many more questions prior to meeting up with someone and I'm much more clear on what I'm hoping for in a session. That has helped improve my experiences but certainly hasn't made them always successful. There will always be those that will tell you what you want to hear and just make it transactional. But, for me prior communication has helped, and likely eliminated some of those just out for the "money-grab". My other tip is to accept that someone's wonderful experience shared on here with a provider may not even be near what you may experience. There are certainly clients on these boards that are very attractive and are sure to share that "YMMV" and amaze with their success rates with attractive providers. I'd be cautious taking those experiences and expect them to be yours as you'll be set up for even worse disappointment thinking that you're obviously not getting the same experience as others because you're just not as hot as them. So, you obviously need to spend more time in the gym. Just Appreciate and Savor the "Wins" along the way and we'll still find some memorable times along this journey.
