Pretty much the same thing I said in another thread regarding deposits and clients from Rentmen. Hopefully being that you are a White provider, people will now take this issue more seriously instead of trying to scapegoat the ethnic providers by suggesting they “find other lines of work, are crazy for taking deposits, and aren’t happy”.

I recently got selected to offer tips to Rent-men (and it was a very generous thing they offered, as I have suggested things to them before in the past), and one of my suggestions to them was they need to get more proactive about helping us to weed out flakes. We are giving them our money, but they aren’t putting enough protocols in place. We pay $79.95, only to be fooled around with for the 1st few days our ad hits. Being able to block users isn’t enough.

Pack mentality is everywhere, not just here, and only a relatively small amount of individuals have the mentality to do their best to avoid it.
Yes, race can be a factor in our business. I had one inquiry from a Caucasian male who got upset because I don't speak Spanish and fit into his stereotype of a Hispanic provider. However, you continually ignore and dismiss the fact that the tone that you present yourself with is the reason why some "crap" on your threads.

" It doesn’t matter if the message is delivered with a bow and ribbon or wrapped in foil. It’s the same message."
It might be the same message, but the primary point of any message is to reach its target and be interpreted as intended, so the delivery does matter. Interpretation of the receiver ends up being the reality, regardless of how the sender views the message.

I even look back at that same 411 thread about me, and realize if I had had the mind to frame my responses better, but I was still holding on to a regular world overnight job with great benefits, and probably was a bit fatigued and distracted when responding.

What I was trying to communicate is that there are some actions and traits within escorts that may be circumstantial and should not be final grounds to judge the merit of an escort. And then there are some that should be. And clients and humans everywhere should be a little more open minded and inquisitive to find the difference. But if you keep lacking humility and an open mind yourself to the reality you have a hand in creating as well, you are most likely going to keep being met with the same attitude.

Most of the requests I get for 3 ways are either the client looking to have a 3rd, or the scenario in which the client says "I'm with another escort". Or, I walk in and there just happens to be another guy there.

But I will say, I get what you're saying. I once had a situation where the client said he was inviting 2 other escorts over in a gang bang type scene. I was hesitant initially, and made sure I got the right info. But on walking in, the action was already going on. It turned out hot and fun regardless, but when you have 2 other tops plus a bottom...it becomes a game of trying to figure out where to insert the D at that point.

The ones that don't usually work are the ones who are like, "do you have any buddies you can bring", or "i'm looking to see if i can find 1 or 2 other guys". One guy bullshitted me in Denver like that, but then never ended up getting back to me. I wasn't mad though because I wasn't expecting him to actually do it. He didn't even get to the first step of contacting me by phone.

That’s understandable. But I think of it like the lottery:

The lottery (and casino) is a multi BILLION dollar industry. You pay anywhere from $1 to $50 for a lottery ticket in any state.

Granted: I understand the clientele who plays the lottery is not “always” going to be same clientele who hires us (but then again, a client friend of mine I knew would buy lottery tickets, and on the last census that was taken...I noticed he had put his annual income at $100,000).

Point is: if someone can spend $20 on some horribly odded lottery tickets, then it shouldn’t be much of an issue for me to ask for like $10 for a client to show that they’re real. Heck, a $1. Same thing the gas station does to make sure your credit card is an actual card and not your supermarket discount card ??‍♂️

So far, it’s been working for me. I’ve already run off 2 potential time wasters, they wouldn’t shut up until I gave them my deposit script. One wanting to ask more questions “how big is your dick”...and he got the same script sent back to him.

I’m actually going to start sounding like a robot so they don’t think it’s me lol. IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE WITH THIS CONVERSATION, PLEASE DEPOSIT MORE COIN TO CONTINUE.

Mocha uses this forum to tell what he is thinking. If Mike Gaite posted as often, he would get negative responses as well. Benjamin Nicholas was not always a favorite, or Scott Adler. It is a fairly long list.

Mocha got a reaction from + WilliamM in 2 threads in 1: “Where are you hosting” and “we didn’t make an appointment”
Yeah, and I understand it's important for clients to know where we are hosting and I understand it has to be convenient. As for confirming, I did pretty much as you described it with someone who booked a session last night, for the morning...but then had some excuse why he couldn't show up. And location was not a factor.

However I agree with using key words: YOUR APPOINTMENT IS SET, YOU ARE CONFIRMED, TEXT ME AT 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOU LEAVE, ETC. But like you said in your last sentence, theres still some bullshit ass people out here who just don't give a fuck and will go thru all the checkpoints, and still flake.

Please, stop with the old washed out quotes. The 2000s definition of insanity is someone who goes and shoots up schools, churches, waffle houses, workplaces, hotels, and nightclubs and doesn't get the death penalty. Don't even use that word around me, in any way or form.

Like I said above, I know it's important to be in a convenient area for clients. You goddamn right it's not about me and my rules, but here's the catch: Not all clients will be coming from the same area. Downtown has been inconvenient for some, the suburbs have been inconvenient for others. Where is convenient? What defines convenient?

Think about airports: do you think when Denver built their new airport 30 miles outside of the city, that they were worried about being inconvenient? No. Traffic? No. Did they give a fuck about the flight attendants and airline workers having to drive across town and take 2 hours to get there? They built it there because there was no where else to build one. They couldn't build in the mountains, they couldn't tear down the old one and rebuild a new one there because it needed to be replaced with other things.

DC is a good example: I usually stay in NOVA or Maryland because I don't have time to be spending $60 a night on parking, to be convenient to clients in DC. I also don't have time to be getting up at 6:45 am to move/meter feed my car by 7 am either. I RARELY ever have to do that to get clients in DC. I may do it for 1 day, and 1 day only. And I've had clients who were close by and didn't mind visiting me. Sure it may be inconvenient for some in DC to come to me in NOVA or MD, but guess what? That's why I go with a car. So I can visit the guys who can HOST (that magic word, host) in DC, that way I don't have to pay a premium just to be in the city. But if they can't host, and they can't come to NOVA or MD, then how is anything supposed to happen?

Do you think I would purposely be staying out the way, to be unreachable to clients? No. It's all about what makes sense.

I try...but it’s not working. It’s becoming harder to tell the difference. People will seem real right up until the time...others will drop off the face of the planet in the middle of setting something up. Or they’ll go thru with all the right things, but say, “umm I gotta make sure my aunt’s husband’s brother’s sister is not still inviting me to her birthday tonight”

I’m not a friend they’ve known for years. They contact me like we have a relationship or like I’m available in their in their city forever. I don’t care about their family or their job or any of that shit if they can’t balls up and meet. When people call Uber and Lyft, or book flight tickets in advance, do they tell their whole life story? NO. So why do it to me? Once you (pay) and get into the Uber/Lyft/Plane, you can small talk with the driver/passengers all the way to your destination. But not before even inputting a credit card. So why should escorts be any different?

It’s just too much time. It’s not professional, it’s making me feel unprofessional. I can’t, I just can’t. Only thing I can do is start getting paid within a pre-determined amount of messages. If not...end of conversation. Cut, off.

I agree. Certain messages get responses certain ones don't. Certain appointments can be counted on, others book with low expectations on it actually occurring. Pivoting and being extremely flexible is also key. Recognizing when expectations should be low based off conversation, and how to mange those expectations will help with the sanity part.

I’ve been on that level for awhile. Fact: many of the guys who go for escorts, usually started with a male massage first. I used to bring them in round the clock when craigslist and backpage were around. And men4rent and rentboy were for the full service clients.

But I know people have discussed the rates. When I was having people in and out of my door, charging something like 60-80 (nearly 10 years ago, and an ad was only like $5 a day, and I only needed to post couple times a week) for a rub. The issue was, most guys wanted to more...way more. And trying to upsell from $60 to $200 was too much of sticker shock.

So I let go of the volume, and just focused on what would be best for me. And considering now there’s no “bargain” sites anymore and everyone is consolidated to the Rent enterprise (a double edged sword), there’s really no reason for me to offer low rates anymore. People are now accustomed to:

If you want a gay, nude massage, and a lil touchy feely on the side, it’s not going to be $60 for 60 minutes. That’s the point I was making in my other thread in the spa. I have known gay masseurs who don’t advertise on any of the gay massage sites. Those guys are content seeing multiple clients a day, for $60-$100...and they do good, but usually work out of a studio.

But someone like me working from home or a hotel, I don’t want that constant volume. It’s too much traffic in my personal space. So when people on sites like Adam say, “oh well my regular guy only charges me $60”, I’m not interested in bargaining with them because that’s not how I run things.

Twitter and IG drive the fan site traffic for us. The clips and previews definitely help keep interest alive. We were doing shout-outs on the fans pages for a while, but that just sent our followers to other sites and we risked losing them as a follower. We find that most guys will only subscribe to two or possibly three pages at once. They like to skip around and we have to remind them to return to us at some point.

When I worked in the high end spa business, our massage sessions were among the highest priced. To advertise this service, we used models in their late 20's, even though the bulk of our massage customers were 40-85. Everyone enjoys an innocent fantasy.

It's not smart to assume that 18-35 year olds can afford higher prices. Some can, and some may book, but they shouldn't consume too much attention because that age group won't pay off (not until they get older).

That is one of the new trends. The new euphemism amongst adult entertainers is "let's collaborate" instead of "let's fuck". The established guys need fresh meat, and the newbies need the followers platform of the established guys, or both need access to a new audience, so it is a win-win deal.

    Yeah it’s the same franchise.

However, just be warned. RentMasseur carries a ton of flakes. Moreso than rentmen. I think @marylander1940 said it, about how people go on there to get escorts for cheap.

One guy wasted my time over the weekend, contacting me twice for a session: didn’t follow up the first time, then wanted to try and bargain me for $100, then bargain me for $60 saying he just wanted to suck my dick. I meant to put his fucking ass on my national client warning list for that bullshit. Cause he owes me a time-waste fee.

Frankly I’m just getting fucking fed up with the shit already. RentMasseur is a joke sometimes. I think after this I may take my ad down for a little while. Despite me meeting good clients on it overtime, it’s just becoming too much of a headache to use when traveling. Everybody who contacts from there wants an Incall (because they can’t host), and then they bitch about being short on time, or bitch about having to go anywhere outside of their 2 mile radius.

I think I may just let it go and only use it when I’m somewhere local and it doesn’t require them to have much thought process. And besides, I have 30 reviews on Rentmen, and only 4 on RentMasseur. It’s not even doing anything for me.

Welcome back to the game! I started out in Miami myself. It is unfortunate that there’s fewer sites out there right now.

However, the double-edged sword to having fewer websites: more clients have fewer places to browse, so atleast for me: my phone goes off with texts round the clock. However It’s become almost overwhelming to keep up with and weed thru the real from the flake.

Also, the former back-page and Craigslist usual flakes who likely just contact people for sex for sport, and don’t intend to actually meet, have been using Rentmen more too.

I am still a fan of adam4adam, however to cut down on expended conversation: I just recently posted my number and I have a message saying I don’t read/reply to messages on the site.

That is true. That’s what makes the game more work now: secretarial work, detective work, on top of sex work.

My assistant analyzes every new number that comes thru to my phone. If the investigation leads to blank or incongruent details, I do not proceed. At times I took texts without running them by my assistant, it turned out someone was texting me from a burner phone, and wasting my time.

I no longer take those anymore unless the client has a picture AND atleast a membership on one of the Rent sites. Because nowadays, people are sending pictures, and it’s not even a real person! They still turn out fake.

@Mocha, I am on your side. But, please realize at one time escort agencies took care of most of those details.

I a often depended on an agency called wow, in New York City. I hired a professional model several times whose name I do not remember now. He called me directly at my hotel to warn that he had just returned from Europe that day and the agency should not have booked him.

The agency fired him for calling me directly. I argued that we knew each other well from previous appointments.

    It worked.
