  1. Isn't OnlyFans partly to blame? Why meet face-to-face if the money is so good elsewhere? It's much safer, too. Nobody young and wholesome wants to work hard anymore, or take risks with their health. OF has solved a lot of these problems. I imagine being a good escort takes a lot of work, and you need a special kind of personality, not to mention everything else that's obvious.
  2. There are so many non-beautiful people who idolize beauty, thinking that if you possess beauty alone, there can't be anything wrong because beauty should be able to propel you anywhere. Wiser people know how fragile and shallow beauty can be. Good-looking people know, too.

    Queer

I think that must be true, but it hasn't been my experience. Attraction has always unsettled me. OK, if it's not looks or money, tell that deeper story. As a gay man, I would love to see it. This was not that film. I get that. Been there, done that. But let me discover the thought process. Put some meat on the bones when opposites attract and act. I did see a few interviews, but they were not easy to sit through. Luca's been a longtime fan of the book, and wanted to make the movie for a long time. I was not familiar with William S. Burroughs before seeing the film. Watching this film did not make me more curious. When I learned that Craig's character in the book is based on Burroughs' life, I became less interested.
  4. Nothing new there. Lots of people in America who are proud to inflict their religious moralism on all of us and control our behavior. We're all on the chopping block, closet or not.
  5. Undercover cops in NYC do not look like typical cops. They look like ordinary folks. Some are actually very attractive, like actors. I'm sure they prefer that. The ancillary cops that are part of the bust have guns, for sure, but the cops getting the service do not, and they look like ordinary customers at all times. That is how a sting works. It is very difficult to know when one is happening, because undercover cops are well trained in how to appear normal.
  6. I used to be a hiker, and often found myself in crazy situations alone, wondering what might happen if tragedy struck. I'm so glad nothing serious ever happened. I remember Colton being partnered with another famous porn actor. I think they worked together. Anybody know what happened there? (Edit) The actor/partner was Blake Harper. I have no idea how long that relationship lasted. I also had no idea that Colton was 40 when he first entered porn. He seems to have broken several barriers in his work life by finding a way to pursue other talents, which is not easy.
  7. With the changes that are coming, he clearly would like to cash out now. IMO, it may be too late for this price.
  8. Absolutely. But it would require smart, progressive thinkers and leaders. America is at a soaring deficit right now. What a pity for all of us, especially the wonderful sex workers. What a shame we all have to hide in silence. I doubt this will change with however many years I have left. Yes, I am bitter about this. We can do better.
  9. I just found out that facial tissue and toilet paper stand among the top 3 selling items at Walmart. That's a lot of angry people to fear. The prices sky-rocketed in just the last 3 weeks. A lot people have not discovered this news yet.
  10. I'm only bitter about a few things, and yes, the deceased partner did think of me as his boytoy, even though we were near the same age. LOL, such fond memories.
  11. I had enough inventory during Covid to avoid being affected. In fact, I lent a few friends some of my stash because the store shelves were empty for weeks. However, Manhattan apartments don't come with much storage space. I'm luckier than most of my city friends. Covid isn't the issue today, but one thing is similar. I also don't expect some men who drop $300-an-hour on an orgasm to empathize or sympathize with me. However, as great as Manhattan is for older folk, it's not great if social security becomes your only source of survival. The monthly nut is very high here, and who knows what changes are coming for social security. Paper products are very important to many households, especially those with children. It will be interesting to watch this impact (even if some believe it's fake news). I hate wasting money on throw away items. You might as well wipe your ass with dollar bills, because they'll be worth less than a fucking Kleenex. God bless America.
  12. There is damn good reason to be fearful. Not good to go through life with your eyes closed. Silly me. I just realized the $12.50 offer is without Prime delivery. It's not coming from Amazon, and I don't recognize the seller, who wants $12 for shipping 1 package. Even worse, they promise delivery some time in July. Give me a break. The horror is just beginning.
  13. That's what I normally do, but the facial tissues are almost gone. My last purchase was a year ago. Kleenex is not the brand I prefer. My nose skin is sensitive, and I get better results with a different brand. Unfortunately, nose tissues are more important to me than toilet paper, although toilet paper is important too. I take four meds for the asthma, and my nose is constantly running. The shit that happens when you get old. Last year, I paid $4.40 for the 3-pack/180 count each. Today, Amazon wants $12.50 for the 3-pack, and they're the cheapest out there. Walmart is charging $16.80, except they're out-of-stock. When I wear a suit, which is very rare, I use them, but they get used up fairly quickly with all the drainage, and I find that a bit gross, although I can handle that. I actually have better luck with using old Calvin Klein t-shirts cut-up, because the cotton is extremely soft and gentle on my skin. To stay within a monthly budget, I may have to rely on cotton. Simply Google, "what is going on with the high cost of facial tissues?"
  14. I wish I could afford a $1500 Toto, and the plumber to install it. I wish I had room for a bidet. After traveling to Europe for the first time on business, I was elated when I figured out what a bidet was used for, and could never understand why they weren't a thing in America. I may have to start collecting tree leaves, which aren't that easy to find in Manhattan.
  15. I have seasonal allergies, and I just learned that the price of tissues everywhere in America has risen 3 times what I usually pay. So I Googled to see what's up, and read that toilet paper is next in line. I care less about the price of eggs, because I can live without eggs. I can't live without tissues and toilet paper. Not good.
  16. It's always been one of my favorite positions, and I learned a long time ago, height makes a difference.
  17. There must be a certain joy and feeling of accomplishment that comes from that. No regrets. To acquire that feeling in only two years of work is close to a miracle, and all while living "the life." Most self-employed people require decades of hard work and sacrifice before they can experience life "on their own terms," if that even happens.
  18. "In ten years of painting, not one friend has ever asked me for a picture." LOL.
  19. It can never be even because in our society and culture, women are permitted to wear much more make-up than men. This is not an even playing field when it comes to beauty. Men are indeed allowed to age more gracefully, primarily because the male aging process is perceived to produce masculine results. When women age, they tend to lose that ultra-soft, firm beauty that youth provides. Sadly, gravity is less kind to a woman, and if she wants to fix that safely, she needs a lot of money and good recommendations.
  20. Not aware of that. From the neck down, Maddox is a terrific male specimen. He has a cock for porn, and a fine looking butt hole. It's his face that leaves me flaccid.
  21. Too many photos sends a negative message, especially if they are similar photos from the same or similar shoot. Editing is a talent. So is presentation, except presentation is more of a strategy. On rare occasions, a guy can be extremely photogenic, and creative photographers can supply unique, sexy shots, without repeating the same story. It's a fun viewing when that happens.
  22. I'm not a Maddox fan, but that boy is adorable. He's got a great face, and an even greater butt.
  23. I'm not entirely convinced a double standard on cosmetic surgery exists anymore. We simply have not had a male version of Joan Rivers. I was thinking, if Mickey Rourke had been a similar comic, he would have taken similar heat. Even without comedy, he took a lot of bashing in the press because of what he did to his once handsome face. His career definitely ended among casting directors. The show business industry and the public know when someone "goes too far." It becomes a lot harder to find jobs and maintain respect. There is a growing list of samples where this is quite the case. Madonna is not going to go broke anytime soon, but there was a media shitstorm over her most recent facelift. It got so bad, she felt the need to publicly lash back. The world has its way of telling you that something isn't quite right. OTOH, no one has had more cosmetic surgery than Jane Fonda, and I've never heard much ridicule for "going too far." Even at (almost 85), she's looking good enough to be cast again.
  24. He reminds me of my first love in high school. A very hard and difficult crush. That family is so talented. I love Alexander in everything I've seen him in. I did not know about this one. Thanks for the head's up.
  25. I've been gay since early grade school. The first time I saw a naked cock in the gym showers, ding went the bell. Couldn't wait to see another one. Couldn't wait to lick one. I played "doctor" with several cousins, and had the chance to smell female and male genitals long before puberty. I knew then that cock was for me. Coming out to family was not easy in those days, but I will never forget how free I felt after I did. Free as a bird. I think of my coming out as a very personal achievement, an early moment in my life I look upon with deep pride. Young kids today seem to have it so much easier. They're smarter, and the people around them are more understanding and compassionate. I'm very happy that progress has been made.
