  1. If what I read here is true, and it seems to be so, this is outrageous delusion or transparent scam at its best. But how sad that someone is this desperate. It costs money to place these ads. Not only the cost, ad buyers (escorts) are required to show proof of I.D. How does a scammer get away with this? The men who visit here are forewarned, but what about those who don't visit here? I wonder how many men get duped, and how successful a scam like this can be.
  2. I wonder what Larry Kramer would have thought about this.
  3. After reading this thread, I feel like I want to trans to straight. I'm picturing Fred Mertz, balancing his left leg on a Pogo Stick, while bopping up and down on a trampoline, with his right leg pointed to the sky. Oh yeah, and he's got a yard hose stuck up his ass. I would need a new insurance policy to try some of the things mentioned here.
  4. It is distressing that so many suffer from this disease these days.
  5. If you don't have any experience, perhaps a "big slutty party" with hired "gogo dancers" is a bit of a reach. If you don't have lots of money, you need connections, and those typically cost lots of money. I'm confident L.A. has its share of gay party planners/organizers. They would be your best source for reliable info.
  6. Exactly why I believe Euthanasia should be legal. Single people with no friends or family should not have to endure the money-grabbing madness of today's fucked-up health care. When faced with so many obstacles, especially incurable, painful disease, we humans should have the legal right to say when we quit.
  7. Turns out it was Verizon. My second blackout this year. It's still causing problems, and they keep changing the fix-by date. Finally had the chance to look at his RM page. He states his age as 36, which is a far cry from his boy years. Let's pretend he's 42. I do see some playful boy-ness in his photos, and bad-boy in his writing. Maybe he deserves a try. Also, he speaks French, which can be fun. Not sure how "french effleurage" differs. Maybe it comes with lots of qui, qui spoken softly in zee ears. I do love "I do massage your derriere a longtime," and the "sensual “corps à corps” ( body to body )." And finally, "Of course you can touch me if you feel like during the massage, I have a really smooth and satinated skin." Ooo-la-la, I'm sold. I wish more ads were this fun to read.
  8. Hell, I was still passing for 40 in my 50's. Hardly would call those my "golden" years. 80 is more golden these days, since so many are living to 100. It's those last 20 years that are the most challenging.
  9. Jussie Smollett was a young, attractive, gay, Black actor on a hit TV network show, making supposedly $125,000 per episode at the time of the blow-up. By simple definition, he was "privileged." In America, privileged people are not permitted to fail. If they fall from public grace, they typically receive out-of-proportion attention. This particular crime infuriated the law enforcement community all across America, and their family members. Many gays were not happy about it either. The details generated increasingly emotional reactions, and that fury explains the high level of vitriol. Not sure it was out of proportion at all.
  10. It's not too crazy. I enjoyed a similar concept in the movie Quartet. If I had tons of money, I would enjoy working on a project like this for gay seniors. When one is quite old, it's no fun to be alone. Companionship is vital to our health. It's not easy for a lot of older folk to get out and meet people, even people our own age. A beautiful, well-run community home can be a very rewarding experience, especially if the details are master crafted.
  11. I once had an encounter with an extremely large cock. Never again.
  12. I am mystified. Someone sent this guy a deposit? What is it about this ad that says "trust me?" I'm seriously curious. Was it the face tattoo that said "blessed?"
  13. Now there's a profile photo you don't see everyday. I've heard of cock rings before, but never considered this. Sure gives the Apple Watch some competition.
  14. That's not good. Very difficult to overcome. I heard Boop was struggling and may have to close early. Not sure if it's true.
  15. Wow. So many nice photos. A serious body. Can't help but wonder why his profile has expired. I could imagine he got swept up by some very wealthy man.
  16. I had to watch it again. It's such fabulous film making. Bill Skarsgård gets naked as Nosferatu, but I assume his cock is part of the costume. The scene where he's captured in sunrise is so fantastic. I'm sorry I didn't see this film in a movie theater.
  17. Was I supposed to trust the only photo that appeared on this thread? Do you set limits on your curiosity?
  18. Maybe it's just me, but the RM website is behaving very weird this morning. Nothing comes up. I wanted to see more, because men who use the word boy to describe themselves is a turn-off. (Edit) Maybe it's Firefox. Pages aren't loading.
  19. We already know that assholes exist among us. You don't even need to work in service to know that. Not one of us is perfect. We have all been capable of being labeled an asshole from time to time. Asshole behavior may not absolve anyone, but there is a power dynamic in money transactions. If you want the power to kick your asshole customer down in public, you can't escape the possible ramifications. It is far better for a business to deal with ugly customers privately. Nice. Even the Church can't promise that. I like your altruism. There's very little "equal" in life. Mother Nature doesn't behave that way. Selfish, horny, narcissists don't give a hoot about equal. But who gets to play judge?
  20. Except this isn't a street fight between rival gang members or jealous escorts. In the service business, there is a seller and a buyer. One wants the money, the other has the money. They are not the same. If a business wants to keep its customers, and its reputation as a business, it has to learn how to handle some questionable or difficult behavior. I realize the ethos "the customer is always right" is about as dead as landline phones (although in truth, not quite). At a certain point that won't matter. Perception always plays a role. If your public reputation is exposed to be revenge and vendetta, good luck selling that to new and existing customers.
  21. Turn the cheek or retribution? It's an age old dilemma.
  22. Looks like he could be fun. Takes a very sexy photo.
  23. I limit my usage of OF, but I've experienced what you're talking about. I had to laugh at some of the messages. It's not just OF. I received messages from Barbara Streisand on her YouTube channel, which made me laugh. Sadly, AI and bots are not going away. Much like smartphones and driver-less cars, this is the future. Sex workers want to have a life while they're making money too. With thousands of fans, you can't do that while chatting with every fan. Most people are tired of being slaves to work, especially post Covid. Here we are.
  24. I may not be far behind. The 3rd episode had the girls camping out in the woods on their way to Seattle by horseback. Are there no infected in the woods? It seemed like a jump-the-shark moment for me, considering what their town had recently gone through.
  25. I'm a subscriber, so I saw the piece. Not only is Frank Rich a very good writer, he is well connected in television and film production. He know a lot. What I didn't quite understand about the celebrity photo spread was are these recent photographs? It looks to me like these are photos of the actors at their current age, dressed as a character they once made famous. Did I get this right?
