I had the same thing happen recently. It was not a bad experience but not close to the level of my regulars. Here is what I can tell you. I saw him quite a bit for awhile, but he started going through some philosophical changes in life (mainly religion) and changed his phone number to leave the past behind. Our relationship moved toward a friendship and no more physical contact. I have found this to be the nature of the business. Some providers respond very tersely and others tend to be more chatty. If I get a terse one, I try one more time and try to be ultra specific. If that doesn't work, move on.

One of the latest things I have seen is some providers seem to be using AI to respond versus a personal response. There's a new guy I started interacting with and really started getting frustrated.
