Your first paragraph says it all. I had the same fears initially and I was fortunate the first guy I hired I clicked with and he is my go to. I like to try new things and learn more about myself and what I like. I can talk with him about absolutely anything that I am curious about. Really the only person in this world I can talk to about this stuff. We have tried things I like and things I don't. He has always made our meets amazing, never judgemental and no ego. I'd say research providers you are interested in and read their reviews. You can generally get a good feel from that then reach out and see how they communicate. If you get a good vibe from the communication set up a meet and chat some more. Always remember you are the paying customer, and the quality providers will work with you and what you are comfortable with. The good ones really want to go out of their way to show a good time. I have a few I see and I've had some off days myself where I didn't perform like I had hoped and none of them made me feel bad about it. Best of luck. Do your homework and try to vet guys through this site. There is a lot of good insight here.

I couldn't agree more. And it is just not here it's everywhere you work with software interfaces. I don't know what these developers are thinking. The V1 interface was near flawless in my opinion and this new one just sucks.

I hate the new site and I am sure it is only a matter of time before they obsolete the V1 version.

I'm somewhat new to this, but when I ask someone to travel to me and it's an hour + drive, I always pay the hotel to host and I always book at least 2 hours. I guess maybe that's why I can get several to make the trip to me. And that's fine. Driving around where I live can be a hassle and I'd rather be at the hotel released and ready to go.

I had a situation a couple weeks ago where the provider tried to negotiate his rate lower to get me to agree to a session. His rate was nearly double the average of the guys I see and just politely said that I appreciated his time but this is outside my budget. He then cut $100/hr off his rate to sweeten the pot, but I politely declined. I simply said I don't ask providers to negotiate their rate because if you are charging that, you obviously can get it. I finished it by saying I think it wrecks the vibe of the whole experience if you are unhappy giving up your fee. Again I thanked him but I don't think he was happy with me.

I see 3 guys in Philly in that range. And they are all excellent.

The very first sentence says it all. I have met one that specializes in this and he is great. If he is on rentmen, I'd recommend picking some of his latest reviewers and message them for details. I have had a lot of success getting information this way ahead of time.

I'll book somebody one time if I find them hot. I'll book them over and over if they are nice and I enjoy their company.

Before I hire anywhere, I make it a point to know what the market in that area will bear. In Philly you can find some great guys in the $150-$250 range and most top out at $300. The ones that are way over and are outliers, I just don't hire. But I never ask anyone to negotiate their rate. If I really want to hire them, I pay what they are asking.

I think it's like any relationship in life. You build a rapport with each other, there is a consistency with how they treat you. I think after awhile your gut will tell you. I have 2 guys I have seen for a year and I trust them totally based on what our interactions have been like over that period. You can always be wrong, but that could be with anyone in life.
