I feel like we can leave well enough, alone. A non-issue 🤷🏻‍♂️

There have been quite a few people who have come out and said they signed up and just lurked. Some read the forum and not posted because they weren't (yet) comfortable with posting on this forum. I would also hazard a guess that some of those who signed up and never posted are escorts monitoring any mention of themselves. How many times have we seen talk turn negative about an escort and the escort changes his ad handle or ad content in anger or to avoid negative press finding its way to him

This is a non issue. This is a problem only for someone who has nothing to do and is looking for problems. 

I doubt you are in the minority. Probably more like the vast, vast majority.
Make unnecessary busywork for you, it would seem.
 

I agree with @TruthBTold about the gay character issue. BUT... I love the show, for the character and story, high class soap opera as it may be, but especially for its unmatched production values. The sets. The costumes. The attention to every smallest detail, from the table settings to the accents to the antimacassars to the cars to ... well, to be honest, Maggie Smith. I hope she survives this episode and continues on. Forever. Vivat!

I found him to be clever, witty, and sort of vulnerable. Yes, he schemed, but it seemed to come from a place of loneliness - having to always look out for himself because he never truly believed that others cared about him. Plus the anxiety of harboring a huge secret about his orientation likely would also affect his personality.

I got to see it finally, as it was shown on a channel here prior to the Duke’s Funeral,which was at midnight local time on saturday night.
 
So I recorded it, and watched it yesterday.
 
As a fan of the series I thought it was pretty awesome, Barrow got to experience what gay life was like at the time, secret clubs that got raided.... and a future of romance with a nice man.

He was a friend, mentor, & the architect of a guy named Ace. He will be missed and ALWAYS appreciated & remembered fondly.

Update: Friday, March 26th: called the hospital to get an update on Guy’s condition. It’s now 1 month since he was found unconscious on the floor of his apartment.
 
Some changes from Monday’s update.
He now has the tracheotomy replacing the tube down his throat. He’s no longer being sedated or receiving any pain medication. He’s unresponsive to any commands and hasn’t opened his eyes this week. His blood pressure remains high. I asked about his organs. This is the 1st time I was told he’s on dialysis. He’s still on the ventilator and his skin sores are not healing.
 
This medical report was difficult for me to hear and I’m sure it’s difficult for all to read. We’ve been keeping Guy Fawkes/daddy in our thoughts and hoping for the best. As I mentioned earlier, he’s been unconscious for a month and the reports haven’t shown any signs of recovering.
